The Esquilino, Rome’s multicultural neighbourhood hosts a spice market and many ethnic eateries. The ancient churches boast the most spectacular mosaics in town, and the Colle Oppio park is perfect for a spring picnic, in clear view of the Colosseum. The furniture recalls an old Italian farm, and the walls are adorned with pictures of chickens. But the real attraction is their pizza, prepared with fresh local ingredients combined creatively. La campagne est le thème principal de cette trattoria, dont le nom signifie « poule blanche ». L’ameublement rappelle celui d’une vieille ferme italienne et les murs arborent des images de poulets. Mais leurs pizzas constituent la véritable attraction. Elles sont préparées avec des ingrédients locaux frais combinés avec créativité.

The Eternal City is gorgeous, but certainly not relaxing. To unwind after a busy Roman day, do as the ancient Romans did and spend the day at the spa. This oasis of peace inside Termini station offers Turkish baths, saunas and Jacuzzi at varying temperatures as well as a whole menu of massages. La ville éternelle est magnifique, mais certainement pas relaxante. Pour vous détendre après une journée chargée à Rome, à l’instar des habitants de la Rome antique, allez passer la journée au spa. Cette oasis de paix située dans la gare Termini propose des bains turcs, des saunas et un jacuzzi à diverses températures ainsi que toute une panoplie de massages.
