Deuxième adresse du restaurant gastronomique Clairefontaine, cet établissement revisite les plats traditionnels de brasserie avec inventivité et créativité. Quelques classiques restent à la carte, comme le hamburger de pot-au-feu au foie gras, le reste varie au gré des saisons et se lit sur l’ardoise. Très belle terrasse et belle carte des vins, notamment au verre. This is the second location of the Clairefontaine gastronomic restaurant brand, with its own uniquely creative and inventive take on traditional brasserie dishes. There are a few classics to choose from, such as "hamburger de pot-au-feu au foie gras", with the rest of the menu varying seasonally and being displayed on the restaurant’s specials board. There is a very beautiful terrace and an outstanding wine list, especially by the glass.

This new restaurant is aimed at gourmets, with a selection of traditional rustic French cuisine, a wide range of meat dishes and a few vegetarian offerings, depending on the season and the availability of local produce.
Entièrement rénové après une longue période de fermeture, cet établissement propose une cuisine simple et goûteuse. Tartes fines, salades, bœuf et veau en tartare ou en escalope et surtout un grand choix de belles tartines et assiettes à déguster toute la journée et jusqu’à minuit. This establishment, which has been entirely refurbished after a long spell of closure, offers simple and tasty fare: fine tarts, salads, beef and veal steak tartare or escalope and a wide choice of toasts and dishes to enjoy all day long until midnight.

Une des rares adresses pour les spécialités argentines : la viande de bœuf bien sûr, mais aussi le jambon Pata Negra, des salades inspirées et généreuses, ou des spécialités de la mer. Pays d’émigration, notamment italienne, l’Argentine révèle aussi des spécialités de pâtes. One of the rare restaurants in Luxembourg to serve Argentine specialities: beef of course, but also Pata Negra ham, cleverly made large salads or seafood dishes. As a country of immigrants, particularly Italian, Argentina also has pasta specialities, a selection of which are to be enjoyed here.
Un volume massif avec un revêtement en pierres naturelles cache des collections qui vont de la préhistoire à l’art d’aujourd’hui. La visite commence au niveau -5 et traverse les époques dans des mises en scène soignées. Une grande exposition sur l’archéologie est proposée jusqu’à la fin de l’été. This building, with its imposing stonework exterior, houses collections ranging from prehistoric to modern art. Visits begin on level -5 and visitors journey through time amid meticulously designed sets. A major exhibition on archaeology will be running until the end of the summer.
Musée d’art de la Ville de Luxembourg, la Villa Vauban occupe une ancienne maison bourgeoise du 19e, agrandie d’une aile contemporaine. On y découvre des collections datant du 17e et 18e siècle, ainsi que des expositions temporaires. Cet été la collection Bruckenthal est à l’honneur avec Brueghel, Cranach ou Titien… Villa Vauban, the art museum of the City of Luxembourg, is housed in an old townhouse from the 19th century which has been extended with a modern wing. It houses collections dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries as well as hosting temporary exhibitions. This summer the museum will be showcasing the Bruckenthal collection including works by Brueghel, Cranach and Titian.

During the weekend of 11 and 12 August, the streets of the capital will be transformed into a huge roving theatre stage, with clowns, stilt-walkers, jugglers, street theatre, acrobats and performers livening up the city centre for a free festival of fantasy and enchantment.
