Last century, new immigrants from various parts of mainland China came to Hong Kong and formed their own clansmen associations, to help out their fellows and build schools for their children. Today, Shun Tak Fraternal Association Seaward Woo College also accommodates students with all sorts of backgrounds, resembling a miniature Hong Kong.
In Community Cookbook, we will invite a few student’s parents as facilitators. They will teach a group of Liberal Studies students how to cook, and in doing so share their stories on food and life.
