Stoford donates laptops to Worcestershire village school
More than 70 school children from Redditch took part in the first of two special rugby takeover events at Birmingham & Solihull Bees Rugby Club.
A diverse mix of trees has been planted close to the site of Redditch Gateway, a build-to-suit logistics and manufacturing scheme near J3 of the M42.
Youngsters at a small village first school in Worcestershire are looking forward to new and improved IT lessons after Stoford donated new laptops.
Nearly 30 trees now line Far Moor Lane in the Winyates Green area of Redditch. They include species such as English Oaks, Callery Pear and European Hornbeam.
Crowle C of E First School, in the village of Crowle, which has just 62 pupils from the ages of four to nine, was provided with funding from Stoford for the equipment.

Stoford sponsored Solihull School Greyhounds, helping them to take part in the Dubai 7s rugby tournament held at The Sevens Stadium in Dubai, where they finished as finalists for the first time.
Stoford supported Worcester Community Trust with a donation, which will help it to deliver activities and events for the local community, reducing isolation and improving wellbeing. The Trust runs 10 projects across Worcester and manages six community hubs.
Congratulations to Stoford Director Gerard Ludlow and his wife, who welcomed their second child – a son – late last year.
The event is part of a two-year partnership launched last year, between Stoford and community sport provision specialist Community Group. It aims to provide a programme of PE and sports opportunities for children in Redditch and Solihull, with a focus on rugby union and rugby values.
April 2022 saw the arrival of another newborn, as Director Edward Peel and his wife had their second child, also a boy.
