Iteration One This is my first iteration that I created. I stuck each piece together by using different angles and trying to make sure that each component fits and doesn’t look isolated from the others. I also drew up sketches of my model, and the sketches are the front view of the model and the side view of the model.

My second iteration is a design that shows a repetition of triangles. There’s a triangle at the top, bottom and in the middle of my iteration, and I did this to show that majority of buildings has repeating designs. I also drew up a sketch of the top view and front view. sketch 2

This is my third iteration. It is different from the other iterations because this is more composed compared to the other. Also, the sketches represents the front view and back view, to show you different perspective of drawings.
Iteration 4
My fourth iteration is inspired by the second iteration. This is because they are both similar with the way the model is built and its height is similar. The sketches represents the bottom elevation also the left side view of my model. sketch 4

I T E R A T I O N
Final sketch
My final iteration is similar to my third iteration. I would say this because of how it is constructed and it is very composed like my third iteration. I also drew sketches of this showing the front view and the back view.
Planning-sketches
I chose my fifth iteration to draw up on auto-CAD. My fifth iteration is what I think looks close to a building, also I like the way it is constructed and how each component fits with the others. I drew up different elevations; front, left, and top elevations, and labelled it with the measurements (mm) I need in order to draw it up in Auto-CAD.

Fusion 360 The final model was created in fusion 360. The materials that was used to create this model was: carbon fibre, marble, steel, glass and mirror. These materials are very useful, for instance, carbon fibre. Carbon is useful as it is avery stonrg material also it is a lightweighted material so it is easy to place. Moreover, the design of this model is suited for the modern age, and the use of material is unique.

MICRO-STUDIO PRECEDENT
Garden Studio by Six Four Five A, Toronto, Canada The first precedent study is inspired by Oliver Dang. This is an example of a micro-studio that can be used for studying and having a separate room to study in peace. The most interesting with this piece of architecture is the wood used around this studio. It brings a bright lofty atmosphere to its surrounding. Moreover it brings a functional office space. It may be compact however it is stored safely and correctly. This allows more space and equipment to fit in the studio. When designing my models I will use some of Dangs design such as the woods around his studio. This would be a useful material to add to my studio, as it will bring attention and make the building look more peculiar. Also, strong type of wood could help to support the building to be held together a lot more stronger. Furthermore wood is a good source of insulation due to air pockets hence it will make the studio a lot more cosy and warm. Also, Dangs site is similar to my site in the park; it is very tight also there is a lot of greenery around my site, so having Dang being one of my precedent study is useful and will help me develop my model.
Cork study by Surman Weston, London, Uk The second precedent study that I will be using to develop my ideas and thoughts will be Weston’s Cork study. His studio represents a work place for musicians and it is placed outside in his garden. The exterior of the studio has a contrast with his site; the brick and the ground has a similar tone of brown and grey colour with the building. The way Weston has managed to fit his studio in a tight place by the use of correct measurement is interestin, also he has left a gap between the wall and the building. This influences and helps to understand how he used space his work in the site and how I will manage to fit my studio within my site plan. Moreover, the studio contains a mottled brown cladding and this is useful to provide warmth due to its thermal insulation. Hence it is safe and comfortable condition to work in. Also, the cladding is weatherproof so the weather won’t be an issue when sitting in the studio. When progressing my work, I will be using Weston’s ideas, such as the space he provides also to measure the correct measurement when designing my studio and making sure that it fits within my site plan.
A room in the garden by studio Ben Allen, London, UK Lastly, this precedent study is inspired by my site plan. My site consists of curves, also my micro-studio will be sitting on top of a rocky floor and is surrounded with trees and grass. hence Allens design is very useful when develpoing and thinking about the design process of my studio. The most unique about this architecture is the way Allen has curves to connect his studio and they are all equal and fits perfectly in his area. It does not look awkward as it brings a nice camouflaged atmosphere with its surrounding. Moreover, the interior design has a contrast with the exterior and its surrounding. It is very spacious in the inside and Allen has managed to store his equipments in appropriately places by addign fitted storages which is useful when thinking about space in a tight area. When designing and creating my models, I will be using Allens ideas to help me improve and develp my ideas. For example, the curves, the desk area and the windows. This will make my studio look more perculiar and eye catching.

ITERATIONS AND SKETCHES
FIRST ITERATION This is the first iteration created from brown cardboard. It represents a study room that has an area of 13m2. It has a height of 3m, length of 5m and with of 2m. This was produced by the inspirtaion from Surman Weston’s work. His work is about a study room and I used his idea of space; the straight rectangular space in the inside of his micro-studio. Also, I tried to see how different angles could fit within my space and I like the simplicty of this iteration; you can decide where to place things easily. Moreover I drew up a sketch of the floorlan and what it may look like in 3d, just to get a glimpse and idea when creating the model. For my next iteration I would develop the shape and create more space in my studio.
Second iteration The second iteration is simple, however it shows the amount of space that can be used withthin my site plane. This studio fills up 14.5m2, which just about fits in the site. With this iteration I created more wider windows, for example the back of the studio has a wide window. This is useful as it brings a wider view for the person studying, also it brings in more light into the studio. Moreover, I used windows for design purposes such as the side near the door. This brings a nice effect and makes the building look more appealing. I would say that Weston has inspired me with his wide range of windows on the top and front of his studio. When develpoing my model for my studio I would improve it by creating a unique shape where it fits and theres enough space to fit equipment in my study room. Also, use my other precedent studies to improve and inhance my work.
THIRD ITERATION This is the third iteration. It has a completely different shape and atmosphere compared to the first two iterations. The reason it will have a different atmosphere is because of the wooden sticks that is used near the curved window. This was inspired by Dang, and his use of wood. I can agree that the use of wood definetly brings more light and it create a brighter atmospher to its surrounding. Moreover, the curved shape is inspired by my site plan. My site contains curves on the wall, and I tried to use my site and my studio to fit and look peculiar. Furthemore, the curves help to create space in both exterior and interior of my studio in my site plan. When develpoing my iteration I would involve more curves around my studio, as this will help to produce more space, also use more wood to bring more attention and brightness to my studio, also it will help my studio to be strong and supportive.
FOURTH ITERATION For the fouth iteration I decided to use white cardboard as it looks more appealing and the wooden sticks around my model looks more outstanding and bright. I would say that Ben Allen has inspired me with the curved studio further aswell as my site plan. It brings a complex yet smooth shape and fits perfectly within my site plan. Moreover, I placed more wooden sticks around my iteration this helps the studio to be stady and strongly put toghther. Additionally, wood is a great source of thermal insulation then metal and steel. Hence using more wood around my working studio is useful as it will keep the studio warm and comfortable to stay in and study. Also, using the window design on iteration two was unique, hecne is decided to use it around my front view of my studio. Also, I improved the gap between the walls and window at the back of studio to be more precise. When developing my model I will be placing a roof to keep the studio covered and make sure it is strongly placed. Also, I may change the door, and use one door rather then two for more space in the interior of the studio.
F I N A L
I T E R T I O N
After many trial and errors I have decided to create my final model. This is the model I will be using to draw up in Auto-Cad, also deciding where my study equipment will be placed within my studio safely and appropriately. In this iteration I used cardboard, wooden sticks, metal wires and black tape. This is has a mix of all ideas I have used in all my iteration. For example, the rectangular and curves shapes, the use of wood for thermal insulation and the design of the windows around my studio. Also it has a height of 4m and is under the area of 15m2. However, this model is different compared to others as this has a roof. On the roof there is solar panels, and this is very effective. Solar panel can provide electricty for the studio, hence you can use electrical appliances. Also, it is eco-friendly and it is convinient to have solar panels for as it keeps a safe environment.

User Experiance
In the section plan there are two desks; one of the desk is at the back near the large window and this is the main desk and study area. The second desk could be used for another to access or to help to get more work done. It contains two fitted storage compartments, where you can place equipments and store your goods safely. Also, storages helps to keeps the studio clean and organise. Furthemore, the floorplan is fitted with a electric fireplace; this is significant as it generates heat to its surrounding and it can keep the studio warm, espeacially at cold times. The floorplan shows insulation between the walls and this has thickness of 15cm. Wall insulation will help to keep the studio warm and prevent heat from escaping the studio.

Elevations I have three elevations; top elevation, left side elevationa and the front elevation. The elevations help to understand how each component connects with each other. This is shown by the use of broken green lines and they connect by using the 45 degree angle and this made it simple for me to connect them toghether.
SECTION I have chosen the front elevation part to draw up the section of the studio. The section is the 2D drawing of what the studio looks like when you are at the front view. It showcases all the equipment and where everything within the studio is placed.
Two-Point Perspective
The two point perspective is used on corners of buildings. you draw two lines and these are the vanshing points. Usually these vanishing points crosses over the horizon line but not in all cases. It helps to understand someones perspective view from where they are and the distance from the studio.
Axonometric This presents the studio, and it is drawn in to a 3d perspective into AutoCad. This is what my studio will look like when it is at a 45 degree angle.
Explosive Axonometric This is the same drawing of my studio, however this ‘explodes’ each components. it shows you how everything connects toghther, also it shows whats inside the studio and where they are placed.
PhotoShop This is the micro studio into the site plan. The materials used is: smooth sandstone, glass tinted windows, mettalic silver, solar panels, dark wood and steel. The colour of the sandstone has a slight contrast with the rocky site plan. Moreoevr, the use of solar panel is for the surrounding and the studio itself,; it is eco-friendly, also genreates electrcity by light. The design is inspired by the site and the precedent studies.

Auto-Cad This is the drawing of the office plan in central intelligence. This was drawn on AutoCad and this is an overview of the plan to help you understand the measurement and where rooms, equipment, people and etc are placed. This also helps to create the 3d model of the plan and understand the spacing that they used in the film.
AutoCad- action in plan This is the plan where the actors use the office and how they use the space for the scene. Moreover, it represents the movement of the main charecter in the movie.
