LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

Dear Xavier Community, This is the 80th anniversary of Xavier College Preparatory. We opened our doors in a single classroom with the first freshwomen students in August 1943.

This first class of eleven students graduated four years later.

Everything has grown since then. Class size. Faculty. Buildings and land.

Curriculum. Budget.

Over the last few years, we have promoted Xavier College Preparatory to prospective parents by illuminating the Xavier Effect — it’s what happens to students over the four years they are here and what they go on to do after graduation.

The Xavier Effect is advanced by our eight success factors: faith, leadership, highly qualified faculty, college-prep curriculum, technology, expanded extra-curriculars, three-season athletics, and community.

Xavier alumnae are all over the globe making a difference. Whether it’s creating a new vaccine, funding women-owned startups, or educating children, Xavier Gators continue to lead the way.

Of course, the foundation of Xavier is our faith. Christ is the reason for this school.

He is the unseen but ever present teacher in its classes. He is the model of our faculty and the inspiration of our students.

While all faiths are welcome, our Catholic identity is actively incorporated into the faith, academic, and community lives of Xavier students.

In this 80th year of Xavier College Preparatory, the 2023 President’s Report looks back to our history, recognizes how far we have come, and looks forward to what the future holds.

Members of Xavier’s Mothers’ Guild and Dads’ Club provide invaluable services to the school community. Members raise funds for Xavier and host a multitude of events for both parents and students.

Most importantly, the members are active supporters of their daughter’s journey through their four years at Xavier.

All parents are welcome. You’ll never regret the time that you spent, but you will always regret the time that you didn’t spend with her.

Advent Reflection All mothers are invited to participate in a morning of reflection and preparation for the Advent Season. A morning of fellowship, learning, reflecting and spiritual growth while preparing for the Advent Season. Moms are invited to the all school Mass.

Moms’ Weekend Retreat in Prescott Xavier Moms weekend of friendship, prayer, relaxation and fun! Limited number of spots for each grade level. The moms can get to know the moms in their daughter’s class and build lasting friendships.

Senior Treats We spoil our Seniors! Four times a year we surprise our seniors with special treats, food and refreshments at lunchtime.
