TWO full squads again this week –that’s half the battle won! Just a shame neither side could get a result on the day.

The club was sent in to a state of shock when Aaron Cleal announced to Wally he was available this week! In all seriousness, brilliant to have Azla around – he’s a great guy and and a super player to have available.

Pair that with Cam Fowler getting more minutes in the tank, hopefully we’re getting to a better place with general availability.

It was a very tough day at the ofce for the first team. The University were superb on the day, playing on their first team pitch we had no answer for their fitness and technical ability.

When we beat them in the reverse at home, we were able to get amongst them and harry them – no such luck on the day. In saying that, it was brilliant to see Ethan bang in his first goal for the firsts. It’s been coming – and hopefully the first of many more.

We’ve got no game this week, so hopefully the Ressies can carry the fight on and beat Bravehearts at home today. A few more wins can hopefully see them keep climbing up the table towards safety.
