They will contribute to health education by teaching students to better understand their bodies and educate them on safety. They teach responsibility and autonomy by having children put into practice their moral and social values such as the need for rules, respect for self and respect for others. Some items may contain special conditions, limitations or other information that is important for you to be aware of, such as expiration dates and restrictions. All items are sold “as is.” All sales are final. No exchanges or refunds are possible. Lycée Français de San Francisco makes every effort to describe all items accurately. However, all items are sold “as is” and Lycée Français de San Francisco is not responsible for the correct description, authenticity or description of any lot. No statement contained in the catalog or made verbally is deemed to be a warranty or an assumption of liability. The Lycée Français de San Francisco has made no independent investigation of the value or quality of any of the professional services or tangible items offered as auction items. The monetary values of the auction items are estimates only and are not warranted for tax purposes or general value. Items may be listed as “Priceless” due to the exclusivity of the item but may have a fair market value. The payment of an auction item in excess of fair market value may provide the purchaser an income tax deduction. If you make any purchases, you will receive a receipt. On the receipt, we will list the item’s fair market value, the amount paid for the item and the difference, if the amount paid exceeds the fair market value. Please contact your tax advisor for further tax information. Dates for services, trips, private dinners, etc. are to be arranged between the purchaser and the auction donor. The buyer is responsible for initiating contact with the donor a minimum of 60 days before the expiration date to arrange mutually agreeable times. Unless otherwise specified, all auction items and services must be used by March 18, 2019. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash. The Lycée Français de San Francisco is not responsible for tips and taxes for services rendered or goods acquired, nor are donors unless otherwise specified. Successful bidders are advised that all activities, services and products are not sponsored by the Lycée Français de San Francisco. The Lycée Français de San Francisco accepts no liability or responsibility for any activities, services or products purchased at the auction, including, but not limited to, failure of delivery, failure of performance and/or claims of personal injury or property damage. Donated Properties: When a winning bidder purchases the use of a donor’s property, the winning bidder/purchaser is responsible for any property damages caused by or resulting from the purchaser’s or the purchaser’s guests’ or invitees’ use of the property. Unless otherwise specified, transportation to and from a donated property is not included; no smoking is permitted; no pets allowed; winner is responsible for toll and long distance telephone calls; winner is responsible for cleanup and leaving accommodations in same conditions as found.
