Christine Cunniffe is Executive Principal of LVS Ascot and a dynamic leader who has driven a transformation agenda rooted in innovation, inclusivity, and preparing young people for the future. Under her leadership, LVS Ascot has developed three centres of excellence: Business & Global Perspectives, Performing & Creative Arts, and STEM with Aviation, alongside pioneering the integration of artificial intelligence into education.
As Chair of the Society of Heads (2025–26) and an Institute of Directors Ambassador for Employability and Education, Christine plays a key role in shaping national conversations on curriculum, leadership, and industry partnerships. She believes in the power of education to transform lives and enable all pupils to flourish. She is the author of Transforming School Culture through Lesson Observation (Routledge, 2021), a regular conference speaker, and a contributor to national media.

Over two hundred years our school has evolved into an award-winning independent, co-educational day and boarding school, welcoming families from all over the world.
We are proud to have had royal patronage from every monarch since William IV in 1836, HM King Charles III to the present day.
Our longevity and robustness, via being managed by a centuries-old and well-resourced charity, has given our school financial stability through many troubled times from the Napoleonic Wars through to Covid-19. This has always made us a safe investment for a child’s ongoing education.
Such is the strength of our financial backing the charity has recently formed the LTC Education Group. This gives us the opportunity to expand our portfolio of schools.

Secure and all on one campus
LVS Ascot is conveniently located just 25 miles from central London and 20 minutes from Heathrow Airport.
Our campus offers a unique blend of a beautiful parkland campus with easy access to the cultural, academic, and professional opportunities of the capital.
Our boarding houses are all located on our campus, as are our sporting, arts, leisure, dining and educational facilities. It represents a safe and secure environment for our students.

Courses
We offer a wide range of GCSEs, A-Levels and BTECs for our students aged 11 to 19.
International
In addition to the above, we also have our one academicyear Pre A-Level Programme for international students. This focuses on English language acquisition, and when partnered with our NCUK ‘International Foundation Year’, it provides an excellent pathway to UK universities.
Oxford and Cambridge Pathways
For academic and ambitious students, LVS Ascot offers a programme that starts in Year 10 and can end at a world-leading university or a career in medicine.

Oxbridge and Medical Scholarships
Years 10, 11 and 12
We have scholarships that are designed to support exceptionally able students who demonstrate high academic potential and ambition to study at the UK’s most prestigious universities, including Oxford, Cambridge and leading London institutions.
Aviation Scholarships
Years 9, 10 and 11
This scholarship programme aims to provide selected students with a pathway towards a Private Pilot Licence (PPL). This includes developing advanced skills in aviation, technical training, and real-world learning. This does not cover school or boarding fees.
Football Scholarships
Years 7,9,10,11 and 12
This scholarship programme aims to provide selected students with a pathway towards a career in football. Prospective scholars should be representing their current school, playing club football and, preferably, being part of a representative team (e.g. academy or district).

Sixth Form Centre
Our Sixth Form has outstanding results. We ensure our students realise their ambitions in a lively and stimulating environment which offers freedom and responsibility.
We offer a wide range of A-Level subjects and a number of BTECs in vocational subjects. We also have pathways for Oxbridge entry and medical careers.
International Courses
We offer a wide range of A-Level subjects and a number of BTECs in vocational subjects. Our one academic-year Pre A-Level Programme focuses on English language acquisition. When partnered with the NCUK International Foundation Year, it provides an excellent pathway to university.
LVS Ascot is an accredited NCUK Study Centre, offering the NCUK International Foundation Year qualification. This gives guaranteed access, on completion, to thousands of university degrees in the UK and worldwide.

University destinations
Our pupils achieve their ambitions by entering the UK’s top universities. Recent alumni have entered UCL, Royal Holloway, University of Bath and Newcastle University.

Admissions process
Pupils can join at anytime in the academic year (subject to GCSE and A-Level exam years).
We require copies of recent school reports, parental consent forms and copies of passports to start the process. A non-refundable registration of £180 is payable when completing the form.
We do not have an entrance exam, however, overseas students will be required to complete an online English test and have an interview to assess their English language ability.
Once a student has completed the admissions process, received an official offer letter pack, accepted the place and the deposit payment requested has cleared in LVS Ascot accounts, we are able to issue a Confirmation of Acceptance for Study (CAS).
A joining handbook along with all the necessary information will be sent to you and the student, as well as login details to our exciting new onboarding app – Vital English.
Vital English is a 12-16 week Pre-Arrival Learning programme designed to help prepare international students for life in the UK and LVS Ascot.

Boarding
Safe and secure. A home away from home.
We welcome overseas students from age 11 for boarding. All of our facilities, including our boarding houses, are located on one beautiful and secure campus in Ascot, home of the world-famous Royal Ascot and close to Windsor Castle.
We provide a home away from home for our boarders. They thrive in an environment built on trust and respect, with a very experienced team of residential staff to support and guide them. All whilst making memories and friendships through shared experiences, opportunities, challenges and celebrations that will last a lifetime.
Our school has students from 51 different countries.
Fees
Our fees are frozen until January 2027 and include lunch for day students and all meals for weekly and full boarders.
The termly fee for each student also includes the costs for curriculum books, exam entrance charges, personal accident insurance and the majority of after-school activities. For boarders, evening and weekend activity programmes are also included.
Fees for all terms from Spring 2025 to Autumn 2026 inclusive – Day students:
• Infant Day – £5,202 per term
• Junior Day – £6,234 per term
• Senior Day – £8,856 per term

• Payment is due for each year the student remains at LVS Ascot, for example an agent provides LVS Ascot with 6 senior boardng students, each staying for 5 years = £3,503 x 6 = £21,019.50 x 5 years = £105,097.50
