Senior Sports Programme 2026
Tuesday 1st July
Welcome
Good afternoon everyone, and a very warm welcome to Senior School Sports Day 2026!
What a fantastic year of sport it has been, and now we arrive at the moment we’ve all been waiting for, the grand finale that brings the whole school together as one.
Sports Day is always something special. It’s the day the field comes alive with colour and noise, where every sprint, throw and jump is cheered. There’s a buzz in the air that you simply don’t find anywhere else, and we can’t wait to share it with all of you.
Yes, there will be medals to chase and personal bests to beat, but Sports Day is about so much more. It’s about taking part, giving something a go, and the simple joy of being out on the field together. It’s about teammates
cheering each other on, the friendships forged in the heat of competition, and the camaraderie that makes our houses and school feel like family. Every point matters today, and we know each house will give absolutely everything in the battle for the top spot.
To our pupils, staff, families and friends, thank you for the energy, the encouragement and the unwavering support that have made this such a memorable year of sport. You are the reason days like this shine.
And to all our competitors, this one’s for you. Run hard, jump high, lift each other up, and above all, enjoy every single moment. Compete with pride and spirit, and make today one to remember.
Let the games begin, and may the best house win!
