When it comes to honeymoons, one size does not fit all. Honeymoons vary depending on the couple’s dreams and passions, their interests and what fulfills them. It also depends, of course, on what time of year they are taking their honeymoon and last but not least, the all-mighty budget.
Here are some destinations I’m seeing for folks around our area:
Travel in our winter when weather is warm, and humidity is at its lowest. Immerse yourselves in the Polynesian culture, soak in the calm turquoise waters, relax on the white sand beaches or stay in an overwater bungalow. It is the only place in the world where you can find the black pearl.
One of the sunniest places in Europe with many Greek islands to discover. There are 18 UNESCO sites to explore in awe. Sixteen of those sites are Cultural Heritage sites. With one of the longest coastlines in Europe and 80% of the mainland mountainous, they have it all for beach bums and mountain enthusiasts. Travel in August for the prettiest settings or during the spring or fall to avoid the crowds.
Birthed from volcanos, Hawaii offers romance, adventures, and different culinary tastings with plenty of opportunities for romance. Take in a hike, swim with turtles or visit the Seven Sacred Pools. Be sure to put the flower on your left ear at the luau to signify you are taken. Hawaii is traveled year-round. Spring and fall are the best for good weather, summer can get too hot for some couples and winter brings in many of tourists.

Ideal for snorkeling and diving with crystal-clear waters, shallow lagoons, and beautiful corals with over 2,000 species of sea life. This island is for water lovers. Try an underwater restaurant or swim under an island! The islands consist of over 1,000 coral islands. Each island, typically hosts just one hotel offering the best-of-the-best luxury experience including that water bungalow we’ve all got on our bucket list. Maldives’ best weather occurs November through April. The rainy season is May through October.
