The Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration (CILC), a local nonprofit dedicated to connecting young minds to unique and diverse learning experiences, is proud to be a part of the North Mankato community and recently hosted a Cavalier visit from Greater Mankato Growth. Executive Director Glenn Morris explained how bringing the world of live virtual field trips from beloved museums, zoos, scientific, historic, and cultural centers into classrooms helps kids better connect to learning. These powerful, memorable, and fun excursions, studies have shown, strengthen student’s critical thinking skills, empathy toward others and tolerance.
