In a world where uncertainty often overshadows possibility, creativity stands as our greatest rebellion. It is in troubled times that artistry, design, and craftsmanship become more than just expressions—they become acts of resilience, declarations of hope, and blueprints for a more inclusive, harmonious world.

This issue of Luxe Code is a celebration of that spirit—of creators who push boundaries and shape the future through their work.

From the poetic rebellion of Mirage by Shantnu & Nikhil at FDCI Men’s Weekend, which wove a tale of romance and reinvention at Jaipur’s Diggi Palace, to the bold architectural visions redefining luxury across the globe—whether in the barefoot elegance of the Landaa Estate in the Maldives or the sculptural mastery of a Melbourne retreat—each story is a testament to the transformative power of design.

Art, too, reminds us of our shared humanity. En Route, the breathtaking collaboration between Maria Grazia Chiuri, Karishma Swali, and the Chanakya School of Craft, speaks through the universal language of textiles, stitching together memory and culture into something timeless. Meanwhile, Bugatti marks a new era, continuing its legacy of precision and innovation, and Giorgio Armani’s latest chapter in Mumbai pays homage to the enduring dialogue between fashion and photography.

As we navigate the complexities of our time, Luxe Code remains a space where creativity, craftsmanship, and bold vision converge— where design is not just an aesthetic pursuit but a force for connection, evolution, and beauty without limits.

A POETIC REBELLION

Mirage by Shantnu & Nikhil at FDCI Men’s Weekend was an unveiling romance, resilience, and reinvention at Diggi Palace, Jaipur

Designers Shantnu & Nikhil presented Mirage at the prestigious FDCI Men’s Weekend, held at the historic Diggi Palace in Jaipur, offering a poetic journey through time and transformation. This collection wasn’t merely a fashion presentation—it was a narrative woven in the fabric of resilience, reinvention, and the timeless beauty of drapery and deconstruction. Like the verses of Rumi, Mirage blurred the lines between past and future, tradition and rebellion, creating a fresh sartorial language of expression.

Opening with a soul-stirring poem by Rumi—originally written for Shams of Tabriz—the show set a tone that transcended

fashion. Mirage was a tribute to the modern-day poet—the Shantnu & Nikhil man—who carries the grandeur of tradition while embracing the fearless spirit of reinvention.

A departure from previous Maison Shantnu & Nikhil shows, Mirage wove an enchanting tapestry of romance and poetry, exploring themes of love, longing, and resilience through fluid drapes and delicate embroidery. Each garment told a story of passion, where poetic masculinity and strength met.

Rooted in the paradox of the desert—vast and barren yet alive with whispered stories—the collection explored survival and strength through minimalist, radical drapery. Shantnu & Nikhil’s signature aesthetic was distilled into fluid silhouettes,

enhanced by leather accents and asymmetry that spoke the language of movement. Drapes, integral to desert heritage, were reimagined, shifting from shoulders to hems. The dhotis, layered skirts of wandering tribes, and the structured regalia of maharajas were deconstructed into modern forms—culottes, billowing trousers, and gathered pants—symbolising fluidity and fearless masculinity.

The Mirage palette reflected the desert’s ever-changing hues. Soft beiges and ivories, like sunlit dunes, transitioned into deep

navy and slate, mirroring the mystique of twilight. Sand-textured embroidery rippled across silk, sheer overlays mimicked shifting landscapes, and supple leather appliqués paid homage to the camels and flora that thrive against all odds—each element a testament to survival, each motif a story of endurance.

At the crossroads of deconstruction and reinvention stood the Shantnu & Nikhil man, poetic and powerful. Mirage was not just a collection; it was a vision of resilience, a shadow moving through time—ever-changing and ever bold.

Pacific House: A contemporary reimagining of a Sydney cliffside retreat

PLACES

PLACES

Perched on the dramatic cliffs of Sydney’s coastline, Pacific House is a bold reimagination of a 1990s concrete-framed dwelling. Recrafted by Alexander &CO., this residence is an ode to balance—between past and present, family life and solitude, architecture and nature.

Exposed to the elements and flanked by neighbouring cliffside homes, the project demanded both vision and restraint. The firm redefined the home’s layout, introducing lush landscaped gardens, an ocean-facing pool, and a seamless connection between interior and exterior spaces. The result is a five-bedroom sanctuary where refined materials, architectural precision, and the rhythm of daily life harmonise effortlessly.

A HOME REORIENTED TOWARDS LIFE AND LANDSCAPE

From its inception, Pacific House was conceived as a home that prioritises experience. The existing structure—though solid in form—was detached from its surroundings, its interiors disjointed from the panoramic ocean views and verdant gardens. The homeowners, a young professional family and long-time patrons of Alexander &CO., sought a space that would evolve with them: a home as functional as it is evocative.

With this in mind, the architecture was redefined into two distinct yet interconnected zones. On one side, the kitchen, garden, and pool—a lively stage for family gatherings, meals,

PLACES

and play. On the other, expansive terraces and intimate perches designed for quiet reflection, where the ocean serves as an ever-changing backdrop. The home’s reorientation ensures that every moment, whether kinetic or still, is shaped by its surroundings.

MATERIALITY AND MOVEMENT: A STUDY IN CONTRAST

The transformation of Pacific House is rooted in material expression. The structure’s original concrete frame has been softened through a meticulous layering of texture and tone. Crisp white facades form a canvas for cascading greenery, evoking a Mediterranean sensibility. Arched openings frame ocean vistas, while newly integrated curves introduce a fluidity that counterbalances the home’s original linearity.

Inside, spatial constraints became opportunities for detail. Low ceilings are counteracted by rich, tactile finishes, while timber-clad steel beams lend warmth to the structural framework. Every gesture—whether in stone, wood, or fabric—is intentional, contributing to an aesthetic that is at once understated and deeply personal.

A highlight of the redesign is the pool, nestled within a former driveway excavation. Overlooked by a breakfast nook inspired by the streamlined elegance of P&O ocean liners, it introduces an element of playfulness within the home’s refined architectural language.

CRAFTING A NARRATIVE THROUGH DESIGN

For Alexander &CO., this project was more than an exercise in renovation; it was a reawakening. “I liken these projects to

PLACES

PLACES

breathing new life into an old maid,” reflects Principal Jeremy Bull. “She was substantial in structure, but devoid of spirit. Our task was to imbue her with purpose, to create something timeless yet deeply personal.”

The home’s new chapter unfolds across multiple levels: five bedrooms, a master suite with panoramic ocean views, a lower-level retreat with a gym, sauna, and wellness space, and a series of outdoor terraces designed to dissolve the boundary between architecture and landscape.

THE CHALLENGE OF THE ELEMENTS

The project was not without its trials. Coastal exposure meant

battling high winds and volatile storms, which repeatedly stalled progress and required mid-project material replacements. Supply chain disruptions and neighbourly tensions further complicated the build, yet the final outcome is a testament to resilience—an architectural composition that feels both grounded and ephemeral, permanent yet alive.

At Pacific House, the elements are not obstacles but orchestrators of experience. The ocean, the sky, the shifting light—they are as much a part of the home as the concrete, timber, and stone. And as the family settles into their reimagined retreat, one truth remains: this is a home not just designed to be lived in, but to be felt.

PLACES

One Villa is a prestigious luxury farmhouse project set against an idyllic rural backdrop, seamlessly integrating the essence of contemporary urban sophistication within a serene village environment.

Located in Gurdaspur, Punjab, a region known for its lush greenery and tranquil rural landscape, One Villa is designed to create a magnificent, ultra-modern residence that encapsulates the client’s accomplishments and aspirations. The project merges urban opulence with the tranquillity of a rural setting, offering a harmonious blend of comfort and grandeur.

The client, a successful entrepreneur based in Australia, sought to create a dream home that reflects his global outlook and success. He envisioned an ultra-modern sanctuary that

embodies luxury, innovation, and comfort. Catering to the affluent lifestyle, the design emphasises extravagance and modernity. Local sourcing of materials supports the regional economy, enhancing the project’s cultural and environmental relevance. The aim was to achieve a synthesis of cutting-edge modernity and rustic charm, ensuring that every element exudes sophistication while remaining grounded in the local context. Envisioned as a landmark of luxury, the project promotes sustainable development and elevates the local architectural landscape through its innovative design and construction practices.

The design strategy is rooted in contemporary aesthetics, characterised by clean lines, axial geometries, and angular dimensions. Drawing inspiration from the opulent residences

of Hollywood Hills, the planning emphasises spaciousness and integration with the natural surroundings. The villa features an open-plan layout with a central axial line that organises the living spaces. Double-height lobbies and expansive glass walls create a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor areas, enhancing the sense of openness and connectivity.

One Villa is distinguished by its ‘non-walled’ concept, where open spaces flow into each other without rigid boundaries. Numerous nooks and corners emerge organically from the central axis, providing intimate spaces within the larger open plan. The project boasts a grand double-height lobby, luxurious living zones, and unobstructed views of the surrounding landscape, creating an immersive living experience. The interiors epitomise

modern luxury, with meticulous attention to detail and a selection of high-end materials and finishes. The flooring features premium Italian marble and bespoke tile work, while elegant POP ceilings with intricate detailing adorn the spaces. Walls are finished with exquisite Italian Catalana marble in the washrooms, complemented by luxurious textures and finishes throughout. The furniture is curated from renowned Italian brands, including Milano, providing a touch of European elegance. Custom lighting solutions from Tissot, featuring imported chandeliers and designer fixtures, add a glamorous ambience.

The landscape design seamlessly integrates with the villa’s architecture, featuring beautifully manicured gardens, a sophisticated walkway, and a stunning 8 x 20 feet pool area. The back-

PLACES

yard includes a chic bar zone, perfect for evening entertainment and relaxation. The outdoor spaces are designed to enhance the indoor-outdoor connection, creating a cohesive living environment. The project showcases unparalleled craftsmanship, with a focus on bespoke detailing and high-quality finishes. Local materials are thoughtfully integrated to reflect the regional character. Prioritising local sourcing for materials ensures sustainability and supports the local economy, including wood, glass, and lighting fixtures sourced within a 20-kilometre radius. A curated selection of luxurious materials and sophisticated décor elements creates an atmosphere of refined elegance and modern comfort.

Advanced HVAC systems by Daikin provide efficient and effective climate control. Integrated systems for water conservation and waste management ensure environmental sustainability. The project employs passive shading techniques, terrace

landscaping, and strategic overhangs to maintain indoor temperatures and reduce heat gain. The design incorporates passive cooling and heating strategies, extensive use of glass for natural lighting, and terrace landscaping to reduce energy consumption. Overhangs and deep cuts provide effective shading, enhancing indoor comfort during hot summer months. Utilisation of advanced passive cooling and heating techniques, along with high-quality, locally sourced materials, ensures both luxury and sustainability.

By thoughtfully integrating contemporary design elements with the serene landscape of Gurdaspur, the project successfully embodies the client’s vision of an ultra-modern sanctuary. One Villa sets a new standard for luxury farmhouses as the perfect blend of comfort, sophistication, and sustainability, reflecting the client’s global outlook and distinguished achievements.

In one of Melbourne’s most verdant suburbs, Kernan Residence redefines residential luxury through its sculptural architecture and meticulous interior detailing. Designed by Jack Fugaro Architect, this residence achieves an exquisite balance of openness and intimacy, crafting a sophisticated yet serene retreat.

A HARMONIOUS FUSION OF SPACE AND FORM

Drawing inspiration from its bold exterior, Kernan Residence seamlessly translates its sculptural aesthetic into the interior. The design celebrates spatial grandeur while maintaining moments of intimacy. Expansive double-height volumes flood the home with natural light, enhancing a sense of airiness and fluidity. The heart of the home—a sculptural central staircase—acts as both a focal point and a functional transition, effortlessly connecting the lower-level living areas with the upper-level private retreats.

ELEGANCE IN EVERYDAY LIVING

Deep, atmospheric hues and sculptural textures converge in this exquisitely crafted Boerum Hill townhouse, designed by Barker Architecture Office for a socially dynamic family of three. An evocative interplay of materials—richly veined marbles, undulating plasterwork, and custom furnishings—imbues each space with a sense of drama and refinement, while the home’s thoughtful layout maximises both conviviality and comfort.

A GRAND ENTRANCE OF COLOUR AND FORM

From the moment one steps into the townhouse, a bold aesthetic statement is made. Walls enveloped in deep green set a dramatic tone, while a striking green-and-pink checkerboard floor reinterprets the classic black-and-white motif with contemporary flair. A custom asymmetrical mirror echoes the curvature of the front door, inviting guests into a world where

architecture and artistry seamlessly entwine.

THE PARLOR: SCULPTURAL SERENITY

The living space is an elegant fusion of organic forms and luxurious materials. A curved sofa and armchair embrace two nested marble tables, which rest atop a flowing, custom-designed rug. A walnut sideboard provides a grounding element, while a gold-painted relief by Andrew Zimmerman and Cloud Support by Mike Hansel lend a gallery-like sophistication to the original marble mantel.

A KITCHEN DESIGNED FOR ELEGANCE AND EASE

The heart of the home, the kitchen, is framed by a deep fluted plaster arch, where a bar area glows under the light of vintage French smoked-glass sconces. Calacatta Vagli Viola marble crowns bespoke cabinetry and an island swathed in muted mushroom tones. A curved pantry cabinet softens the geom-

etry of the space, leading to a pale oak dining table set beneath a constellation of hand-blown glass pendants.

A SANCTUARY OF LIGHT AND LUXURY

Ascending the rebuilt stairway, the home unfolds into a series of serene yet expressive spaces. A light-filled playroom gives way to a tambour-lined transition, which conceals a marbleclad bath featuring a striking stone sink and ledge. The media room, painted in deep aubergine, exudes opulence, with a marbled bar, a plush sectional, and a barrel chair upholstered in vibrant chartreuse velvet. A vintage Italian cocoon resin lamp and curvilinear cove lighting heighten the space’s moody allure.

THE PRIMARY SUITE: AN OASIS OF REFINEMENT

On the second floor, the primary suite is enveloped in soft lavender-grey plaster, enriched by stained oak detailing. Custom linen wall sconces illuminate floating side tables, while a

vintage resin pendant casts a warm glow over a framed still-life above the bed. The adjoining bath continues the narrative of textural indulgence, clad in green onyx and Rosa Aurora Macchia Vecchia stone. A steel casement window over the freestanding tub offers a serene view of the lush garden below.

A CRESCENDO OF DESIGN ON THE TOP FLOOR

The sculptural ascent culminates in a skylit hallway leading to an array of exquisitely appointed rooms. One bedroom features an arched wallpaper motif with acid-green accents, while the guest bedroom pairs a plush green velvet bed with custom travertine side tables and clay pendant lighting. The guest bath is a triumph of texture, where Espectaculo marble envelops the walls and Rosa Aurora stone tiles define the skylit tub and shower recess.

A SEAMLESS EXTENSION INTO NATURE

The home’s material richness extends outdoors, where the

deck and garden are paved in a striking travertine checkerboard pattern, creating a seamless dialogue between the interior’s artistry and the tranquility of nature.

CRAFTING A NEW VISION OF LUXURY

In the world of luxury travel, there are retreats—and then there are sanctuaries. The newly reimagined Landaa Estate at Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru belongs firmly in the latter category. Nestled on the island’s serene southeastern edge, this four-bedroom masterpiece is a bold redefinition of Maldivian opulence, where contemporary design, seamless indoor-outdoor living, and the untouched splendour of the Baa Atoll UNESCO Biosphere Reserve converge.

Spanning an astonishing 800 square metres of interior space and an additional 2,000 square metres of private beachfront, the Landaa Estate invites guests into a world of unrivalled exclusivity. A pristine 80-metre stretch of white sand leads directly to the shimmering lagoon, while a 20-metre lap pool—with a sunken lounge, cascading waterfall, and vast sundeck—mirrors the infinite horizon. As the day fades, an elevated rooftop terrace offers a front-row seat to Maldivian sunsets, casting golden

hues over an estate designed for the art of slow living.

DESIGN IN DIALOGUE WITH NATURE

Every element of the Landaa Estate has been meticulously curated to harmonise with its surroundings. A palette of crisp whites reflects the dazzling beaches, while accents of teal, turquoise, and violet echo the shifting tones of the Indian Ocean. Hand-carved coral-inspired screens pay homage to Maldivian craftsmanship, complemented by a collection of sculptural furnishings from Flexform, Paola Lenti, Gervasoni, Roda, and Kettal. The result is a space that feels as effortless as the waves that kiss the shoreline—an architectural ballet between contemporary sophistication and organic textures.

A SANCTUARY OF SEAMLESS LIVING

Designed for multigenerational escapes and intimate group retreats, the Landaa Estate unfolds as a fluid series of inter-

connected pavilions. Four luxurious bedrooms—including a newly added king suite—offer privacy and indulgence, while a dedicated children’s room ensures younger guests have a space of their own. A sunken outdoor seating area invites deep conversation beneath a starlit sky, and a second-floor pavilion, equipped with a state-of-the-art weather sensor, allows for uninterrupted relaxation—be it under the morning sun or a moonlit sky.

BEYOND LUXURY, A WAY OF LIFE

What elevates the Landaa Estate beyond mere accommodation is its ability to craft a lifestyle of effortless indulgence. A dedicated butler ensures every moment is flawlessly curated, from bespoke dining experiences to private beach barbecues

and immersive island adventures. Whether guests seek stillness or celebration, the estate stands as a sanctuary within a sanctuary—where every experience, no matter how simple, becomes extraordinary.

As Four Seasons Regional Vice President Armando Kraenzlin puts it, “We wanted to create a space that doesn’t just offer privacy and luxury, but that elusive ‘I never want to leave’ feeling.”

SHARED HUMANITY

En Route: An artistic collaboration by Maria Grazia Chiuri, Karishma Swali, and Chanakya School of Craft exploring the universal language of textiles and cultural memory

Photo courtesy: © BIBLIOTECA APOSTOLICA VATICANA Photographer: Carlotta Manaigo and Chanakya Foundation

The Vatican Library will host En Route, an extraordinary exhibition celebrating the universal power of handicrafts and textiles. This groundbreaking collaboration between Maria Grazia Chiuri, Creative Director of Dior Women’s Collections, and Karishma Swali, Creative Director and Founder of the Chanakya School of Craft, delves into the intersection of art, culture, and memory. Together, they offer a vision that transcends borders, exploring the power of storytelling and shared humanity through contemporary crafted abstractions.

Throughout several visits to the Vatican’s historical collections, which house one of the world’s largest archives of manuscripts, maps, and artifacts, Chiuri and Swali uncovered narratives of global connections and cultural exchange. The culmination of this research is En Route, a stunning exhibition featuring five intricately crafted maps and two globes,

which reflect on the transmission of knowledge, creativity, and cultural memory across time and geography.

Curated by Don Giacomo Cardinali, Simona De Crescenzo, Francesca Giannetto, and Delio V. Proverbio, the exhibition will be accompanied by a catalogue including essays from Maria Alicata, Paola Ugolini, Chiara Valerio, and more.

Women’s Journeys, Women’s Art: A Shared Humanity

At the heart of En Route is a tribute to the journeys of six pioneering women—Elizabeth Bisland Wetmore, Annie Cohen Kopchovsky, Elizabeth Cochrane (Nellie Bly), Gertrude Bell, Agnes Smith Lewis, and Margaret Dunlop Gibson—who defied societal expectations and redefined cultural narratives through their travels. Their stories, uncovered in the Vatican Library’s archives, are commemorated in the five embroidered maps titled In Viaggio (En Route), which trace the routes of these trailblazing women.

Crafted from delicate layers of linen and hemp yarn, the maps evoke the tactile fragility of ancient parchment and are enriched with contemporary needlepoint stitches. One of the standout pieces, Femininity, the Trap, reflects Annie Kopchovsky’s bold decision to trade her corset for trousers—an act that reshaped women’s autonomy and paved the way for future generations.

Alongside the maps, two handcrafted globes showcase global textile traditions. The first, Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (“The world is one family”), features 88 distinct craft techniques, including Tatreez, Batik, Zardozi, Shibori, Kantha, and more, rotating to represent the rich diversity of global textile arts. The second globe, Antrik Vishwa (“Inner Universe”), celebrates the creative expressions of artisans at the Chanakya School of Craft. This globe showcases deeply personal, intimate landscapes woven by female artisans who, many of whom have rarely traveled beyond their communities, capture the essence of their homes, temples, and rivers.

Global Connections through Craft

The exhibition not only celebrates the creativity of these women but also draws connections between diverse textile traditions, revealing striking parallels between India’s resistdyed ikat, Japan’s kasuri weaving, and the geometric similarities between Peru’s backstrap weaving and Ladakh’s thags-cha weaving. The work of En Route is a testament to the interconnectedness of our world, told through the universal language of handcraft.

Karishma Swali, Creative Director of Chanakya International and Founder of the Chanakya School of Craft, shares, “En Route is a celebration of the universal language of craft—a

reflection of courage, creativity, and stories that transcend borders. Each piece embodies the extraordinary skill and dedication of our artisans, whose work brings these narratives to life, forging connections that unite us across time and culture.”

Torans: An Artistic Collaboration with Jovanotti

The exhibition extends its boundary-breaking spirit through a collaboration with Italian artist Lorenzo Cherubini, known as Jovanotti. Three torans (traditional Indian door hangings) were created for the Library entrance, symbolizing a welcoming gesture and inviting visitors into the convergence of archives, music, and craft. These torans reflect Jovanotti’s global travels, incorporating motifs inspired by ancient musical notations preserved in the Vatican Library and adorned with ghungroos, bells, and traditional Indian instrument symbols, further emphasizing the harmony between music and craft.

En Route and the accompanying torans will be on display at the Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana from 15 February to 20 December 2025.

BUGATTI ENTERS A NEW ERA

A year of milestones, unparalleled craftsmanship, and the dawn of a new automotive chapter

Throughout its history, Bugatti has been a symphony of beauty, elegance, speed, and unmatched experiences. This ethos has set the marque apart, transcending time and cementing its place as an icon in automotive history. As 2024 unfolded, Bugatti celebrated a series of landmark achievements while setting the stage for an exhilarating new chapter in 2025.

HONOURING THE TYPE 35: A CENTURY OF RACING DOMINANCE

In 2024, Bugatti marked the 100th anniversary of the legendary Type 35—widely regarded as the most successful racing car of all time. The historic milestone was commemorated with a special public appearance, where the Type 35 met its modern counterpart, the track-only hyper sports car Bolide, at the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. The celebration continued with the first Bolide deliveries, and one passionate owner had the thrill of pushing their car to its limits at the famed Circuit of the Americas.

THE CHIRON ERA: A GRAND FINALE

Bugatti bid farewell to the Chiron in 2024, marking the end of an era defined by extraordinary engineering and craftsmanship. The 500th and final Chiron, named ‘L’Ultime,’ stood as a testament to the marque’s dedication to precision and artistry. At the heart of every Chiron was the legendary W16 engine, a marvel of power and technical excellence that redefined automotive performance since Bugatti’s rebirth in 2005.

THE SWANSONG OF THE W16: A FITTING FAREWELL

2024 also saw the final chapter of the W16 engine come to life with the production of the W16 Mistral. To honour the occasion, Bugatti achieved a remarkable milestone—the W16 Mistral World Record Car set an unprecedented open-top speed record of 453.91 km/h, solidifying its place in history alongside the brand’s other speed champions.

ENTERING A NEW ERA: THE TOURBILLON TAKES CENTRE STAGE

In 2024, Bugatti unveiled the Tourbillon, ushering in a bold new chapter for the brand. Revealed at Molsheim—Bugatti’s home for 115 years—the Tourbillon features an all-new V16 hybrid powertrain, an aerodynamically perfected design, and an interior that embodies timeless elegance. The unveiling became the most-watched car launch in history, capturing the imagination

of enthusiasts worldwide.

Following its debut, the Tourbillon embarked on a global journey, appearing at prestigious events such as the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Monterey Car Week, and Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille, where it won the coveted ‘Prix du Public.’

THE BUGATTI LIFESTYLE: A WORLD BEYOND AUTOMOTIVE EXCELLENCE

Bugatti’s commitment to offering unparalleled experiences extended beyond its cars in 2024. Bugatti owners immersed themselves in exclusive events, from the breathtaking Bugatti Grand Tour in Morocco’s Saharan dunes to a spectacular parade of Bugatti vehicles on the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix circuit. These curated journeys allowed customers to experience their cars in extraordinary locations, creating lifelong memories.

The Bugatti Art de Vivre also reached new heights. The brand expanded its luxury lifestyle offerings, opening the first Bugatti Home boutique in Dubai and launching the third Bugatti Home Collection at Salone del Mobile in Milan. In January 2025, this innovative collection will debut in Paris, further integrating Bugatti’s design philosophy into the world of high-end living.

CRAFTING A LEGACY THROUGH ARTISTRY

Bugatti’s deep-rooted connection to art continued in 2024, paying homage to the brand’s founder, Ettore Bugatti, and his family of artists. The hand-crafted ‘Baby’ Bugatti Type 52, designed by Bugatti’s first Pilote Officiel Pierre-Henri Raphanel, was unveiled as a tribute to the original Type 52 built by Ettore for his son Roland.

Bugatti’s collaborations reflected the attention to detail that has defined the brand since 1909. Homages to the Tourbillon included the Baby II Tourbillon Edition by Hedley Studios, the bespoke 15-liter Champagne Carbon bottle, and the intricately designed Bugatti Tourbillon Jacob & Co. timepiece. Bugatti also launched a new e-commerce portal, offering enthusiasts a closer connection to the brand’s exclusive lifestyle.

THE EVOLUTION OF LUXURY: BUGATTI RESIDENCES AND GLOBAL EXPANSION

Bugatti continued its expansion into immersive luxury living with the Bugatti Residences project. The brand also introduced its first Bugatti Home boutique, marking the beginning of a global retail presence. This initiative, along with the Bugatti Residences, will be a central focus of the Bugatti Brand Lifestyle in 2025 and beyond.

The Tourbillon’s global tour underscored Bugatti’s commitment to excellence. The car made appearances in new and existing showrooms, including the redesigned boutique in Munich, the new Vienna showroom, and the prestigious Bugatti London space.

ELEVATING CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE AND CRAFTSMANSHIP

Bugatti’s relentless pursuit of perfection extended to its customer service. Intensive training programs ensured that sales and aftersales teams upheld the marque’s high standards. The Bugatti Award of Excellence in Sales and Aftersales recognized these efforts, while the Sur Mesure program pushed the boundaries of bespoke automotive craftsmanship.

In 2024, Bugatti also celebrated 20 years since the debut of the Veyron, the car that pioneered the hyper sports car segment and introduced the world to the legendary W16 engine. With more Chiron vehicles on the road and the Tourbillon era in full swing, Bugatti’s spirit of innovation continues to thrive.

PREPARING FOR THE FUTURE: A NEW HOME FOR INNOVATION

As Bugatti embarks on its next chapter, its Molsheim headquarters is evolving. The marque has welcomed new skilled professionals, opened an all-new office facility, and is expanding its state-of-the-art Atelier. This investment ensures that Bugatti’s legacy of innovation remains unmatched.

LOOKING AHEAD TO 2025: EVOLUTION, CUSTOMIZATION, AND UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCES

Bugatti enters 2025 with a refined approach to production, adapting processes from the Chiron era to bring the Bolide and W16 Mistral to life. Bolide production continues at an accelerating pace, while the first W16 Mistral models reach their owners.

Giorgio Armani opens at Jio World Plaza, Mumbai. Premier viewing of the Aldo Fallai exhibit celebrates three decades of iconic fashion photography

Giorgio Armani proudly marks a momentous milestone with the grand opening of its first boutique in Mumbai, set within the prestigious Jio World Plaza—India’s most distinguished luxury shopping destination. This exquisite new space embodies the brand’s signature aesthetic of refined elegance and sophisticated craftsmanship, offering an immersive experience into the world of Armani.

To commemorate this landmark occasion, Giorgio Armani presents an exclusive showcase of the iconic collaborative works of legendary fashion photographer Aldo Fallai. From February 12th to March 9th, the Jio World Plaza Atrium will host a premier exhibition, paying homage to a creative partnership that has defined over three decades of groundbreaking imagery. A true confluence of art and fashion, the exhibition will celebrate the visionary synergy between Giorgio Armani and Aldo Fallai—one that has shaped the visual language of modern luxury and timeless style.

ITALIAN ELEGANCE AND VISUAL JOURNEY OF FASHION AND ART

This new destination in Mumbai features the signature Giorgio Armani design created with his team of architects. The boutique features sophisticated elements typical of the Armani aesthetic: floors in marble- and onyx-effect materials that coordinate with fine-textured silk wallpaper from the Armani/Casa collection, and a ceiling in marmorino, echoing the colours and veining throughout the boutique. The furniture includes platinum-colored metal and eucalyptus fronts, complemented by wallpaper and glass accents. Many furnishings, such as lamps, rugs, and Barbican armchairs, are provided by Armani/Casa.

The Aldo Fallai exhibit, extending across the Giorgio Armani boutique, Armani/Caffè, and the Atrium at JWP, showcases Fallai’s timeless black-and-white photography, which has redefined Armani’s visual language since 1977. His work blends cinematic storytelling with Renaissance influences, of-

GIORGIO ARMANI X ALDO FALLAI: A TIMELESS VISION

The artistic partnership between Giorgio Armani and photographer Aldo Fallai dates back to the mid-1970s, playing a pivotal role in defining the visual identity of the Armani brand. As Armani revolutionized fashion with his effortless, structured tailoring, Fallai translated this vision into striking black-and-white imagery, blending cinematic influences with Renaissance and Mannerist aesthetics. Their collaboration, spanning nearly three decades, not only captured Armani’s evolving design philosophy but also contributed significantly to the global rise of Made in Italy. Resuming in recent years, their enduring creative synergy continues to shape Armani’s timeless, sophisticated narrative.

GIORGIO ARMANI COLLECTIONS

The Giorgio Armani boutique in Mumbai offers an extensive selection of the latest SS’25 ready-to-wear collections for men and women, accessories, Armani/Privé fragrances, and the exclusive Made to Measure service, providing a seamless fusion of fashion and lifestyle in an intimate Italian setting. The store covers an area of 219 square metres, arranged over a single floor at the first level. This is the second Giorgio Armani store to open in the country, following the flagship in New Delhi. Unveiled in New York, the latest Giorgio Armani Women’s Collection pays homage to the city as a global fashion and cinematic icon. This season, the collection reinterprets 1930s silhouettes through an exquisite fusion of Eastern influences, fluid tailoring, and noir-inspired elegance. Long silk pantsuits, impeccably crafted leather trench coats, embroidered

jacquards, and shimmering boudoir-style evening wear define the lineup, rendered in a soft palette of beige, bronze, blush, and powder blue. Signature elements—oversized hats, delicate headscarves, and flowing skirts—imbue the collection with a sense of effortless sophistication.

Alongside the women’s collection, Giorgio Armani’s menswear continues to epitomize understated luxury, offering an impeccable curation of razor-sharp tailoring, refined leisurewear, and signature evening ensembles that seamlessly balance structure and fluidity. The men’s line reflects Armani’s unparalleled vision of modern elegance, where precise craftsmanship meets a quiet yet powerful aesthetic.

Now, with the grand unveiling of its first Mumbai boutique at Jio World Plaza, Giorgio Armani brings its timeless legacy of luxury to India’s premier fashion destination. The boutique serves as a gateway to the Armani universe, offering an immersive experience that celebrates the brand’s heritage of artisanal excellence and contemporary sophistication. The moment is further marked with an extraordinary tribute to the three-decade artistic collaboration between Aldo Fallai and the brand. With its latest collection, the Mumbai boutique, and the Aldo Fallai retrospective, Giorgio Armani reaffirms its commitment to the art of timeless style—where heritage, innovation, and an unmistakable aesthetic converge in perfect harmony.
