Against All Odds... What a way to name LUL’s 9th issue. It is important to know that communication is universal and it is how we as human beings move throughout the world when we are working together to get things done. The question most people ask is "HOW” can someone understand me if they don't speak my language? My answer is, "that's a great question that can be answered in so many ways." Just as you take a beat inside, you will be pulled into a world of Dance, and how it has shaped peoples lives.
The stories that you read, and the digital videos attached to some of the photos will educate, inform, and entertain you. In addition, she has recently collaborated with LUL Magazine and the Fyre Nation dance crew, showcasing her versatility and passion for her art. Barkley’s journey into the world of photography and videography began with a genuine passion for capturing moments. She realized early on that she wanted to take her passion seriously and invested in quality equipment that fit her budget. Understanding the importance of skill development, she focused on mastering the technical aspects of her craft and continuously honed her skills with the equipment she had. Barkley’s dedication paid off when she was honored in various art shows, where her work was acknowledged for its artistic excellence and ability to captivate viewers. Barkley’s talent and unique style caught the attention of LUL Magazine, a publication that celebrates and showcases diverse creatives. His journey through dance and education led him from Germany to Atlanta, where he joined forces with Fyre Nation and became an integral part of the crew. Korbinian’s experiences, challenges, and aspirations as a dancer, all peeked within his recent years as he honed in more on his talent. A Passion for Dance and Education: Korbinian, a biology student with a passion for dance, embarked on an internship in Atlanta in February 2022. During his time there, he sought to connect with the local dance scene but soon realized the challenges of finding opportunities without connections. However, through diligent research and the power of social media, he stumbled upon the We On Fyre Cipher, which led him to the welcoming embrace of the Fyre Nation dance crew. Joining Fyre Nation: Korbinian’s experience joining Fyre Nation was a seamless one. The crew members warmly welcomed him, making him feel like part of the family from the start.
