Negara Brunei Darussalam (1984), vulgarmente conhecido por Brunei - Residência da Paz. Está localizado entre o canto nordeste de Sarawak e o sul do Mar da China e é um dos mais pequenos e mais opulentos países do mundo. O seu enriquecimento coincide com o início da exploração petrolífera em 1929.

This state is governed according to the Malay Islamic Monarchy’s national philosophy, which combines Malay and Islamic traditions. A large part of the population lives in the Kampung Ayer, a large village on stilts that has existed for more than 1300 years and is considered by many as Venice of the East. It forms an urban entanglement of houses, bridges and canals, which are the essence of Brunei and one of the most important shopping centres on the island of Borneo.
