The new owners loved the property and could envision taking the existing “good bones” of the house, and make into a home they’d love. We literally surrounded the existing house onthe two sides and the rear with new heated space, and added the double porches to the front.”

Light reigns while elegant windows and doors, quite literally, make the grounds an integral element of the living space. From every point throughout the room, a new vista becomes the prominent focal point. No matter the time of year, this is the ideal place to enjoy the rich colors and changes of the seasons.

The vaulted ceiling in the garden room is appropriately accented by high windows and a coffered ceiling. This sense of height demonstrates a more modern flair.

Note the unique floor pattern. It was specifically designed in the diamond pattern to direct the eye to the exterior spaces.
