WHO ARE WE?

Located at the heart of the Fylde Coast, the Lowther Pavilion Theatre & Gardens is a venue with a strong future. With over 79,000 tickets sold in 2023, we are a dynamic and busy venue showing over 480 performances a year and a growing number of events and workshops.

By choosing to support us, you will be making an investment in a building that’s become a staple in the Fylde area, attracting people from over 731 postcodes, as well as offering a substantial education programme that sees us work with children to adults. We really do believe there is something for everyone at Lowther and that the Creative Arts have never been more needed.

Now is an exciting time to get involved as we’re busily building towards a new future with work on our ambitious redevelopment campaign underway to not only keep us at the heart of the Fylde Coast, but provide a more welcoming space for visitors to our historic gardens.

WHY WORK WITH US?

Many theatre’s across the North West appear to be struggling post-pandemic with several high-profile ones closing their doors for good.

Here at the Lowther Pavilion Theatre & Gardens, we’re bucking the trend and growing from strength to strength as we celebrate record breaking sales and welcome artists from Rick Wakeman to Jasper Carrott to our historic stage.

Our success extends beyond the stage, as we are home to a 12.5 acre Edwardian garden, which is home to over 250 plants and flowers. This beautiful, green space allows us to programme a variety of free activity for families and the community to enjoy including free-to-enter festivals and a free garden activity pack.

Since 2021, we’ve been building our education programme, in which we work with young people and adults to develop drama skills, imagination and confidence. Currently, we run over 6 sessions a week and provide space for home-schooled children to come together and socialise with others the same age.

As a venue, we’re run by a small team of dedicated office staff, with vital

support from an extensive team of volunteers who help to keep us at the heart of the Fylde Coast.

As a registered charity, we rely on generous donations and have been fundraising for our ambitious redevelopment campaign since 2018. By sponsoring us, you’re helping to secure the future of our venue and gardens.

We have a number of ways you can support us, as a one off or on a more committed/fixed term.

If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to the team or stop in to see us.
