Hart Elementary School hosted First Grade Market Day, Day, which is a hands-on action packed learning experience that celebrates what our first graders acquired during their economics unit. They learned valuable lessons about goods and services, supply and demand, and how people make choices based on their wants and needs. The excitement didn’t stop there students also tapped into their creativity, producing amazing goods for Market Day. Our young learners were fully engaged in hands-on activitiesthatbroughtmathtolife.Ihopeyouenjoythepicturesofsomeofthe fantastic things our students created. We definitely have some entrepreneurs on our hands with the quality and creativity of the goods available at Market Day(e.g.tiedyesocks,bookmarks,chapstick,actionfigures,andkeychains).
