BSFOE plays an electro-acoustic mix of psychedelic spirit-jazz-inspired riff-rock. If that doesn’t mean anything to you, influences like The Comet is Coming and Donny McCaslin might ring a bell. Get carried away by their danceable trance and raw melodies.

Born 33 years ago in Brussels, Casimir Liberski is a pianist, composer and improviser who made his marks in NYC for about a decade after graduating from the Berklee College of Music. An insatiable jack-of-all-trades and bulimic heir to his “gods” Monk, Coltrane, Miles Davis, among the many deities of the colossal repertoire of baroque, classical, modern, jazz, and contemporary music, Casimir is also an obsessive tweaker of vintage analog synthesizers.

What do a theatre teacher, a lawyer, a social worker, a bicycle repairman and a kefir brewer from the Namur region do when they meet in Brussels under the same roof? The answer: electronica post-rock, dancing and uninhibited. All just under 30 years old, these childhood friends honed their style and tamed their instruments in the wake of two groundbreaking EPs.
