The Mardi Gras Jazzband goes way back: they have already played for over 40 years on national and international stages. Expect a hearty dose of ambience and the subdued phrasing of a slow blues. Their repertoire consists of lesser-known New Orleans Standards from the early 20th century, with occasional explorations into Ragtime, Blues and even Spirituals where they do not shy away from vocal work.
