N∆BOU
19:30 - 20:45
The French-Swiss prodigy is a rising star who is well on his way to making an indelible mark on the world of jazz with his delicate saxophone compositions. He already attracted attention at prestigious festivals and with his debut album, the jazz revelation garnered nothing but praise. His new album Dust to Stars is a marvelous example of what we love most about this new jazz scene: a free and dynamic interpretation of music, combined with solid references.

Anyone who has already become acquainted with Nabou Claerhout’s unique and innovative trombone melodies will immediately understand why Flagey had the Young Jazz Talent laureate reside at the Brussels Jazz Festival earlier this year. NΔBOU’s steep rise within the latest Belgian wave of jazz-&-beyond owes the quartet to their strong ensemble playing and international allure.
