CATHERINE – Blues, Swing, Dixieland & World jazz

3 days, 3 times different. Fans of Rhytm & Blues will be fully served on Friday by raw guitars, pentatonic harmonicas and loads of energy. On Saturday this square will be warmed up with traditional Dixieland from New Orleans from the beginning of last century, to end with a roaring twenties Swing & Jive party, hosted by Swing it Brussels. Don’t forget to put on your dancing shoes! On Sunday, take a musical trip from Portugal, over West Africa to Turkey. A multitude of styles and genres spiced up to Exotic Jazz.

PLACE DE LA CHAPELLE – Brussels Jazz Alert

The Place de la Chapelle is entirely dedicated to Brussels Jazz Alert, the platform founded two years ago to put new or innovative jazz talent in the spotlight. Every month throughout the year, a showcase in a different Brussels club takes place and now we have brought them all together on one stage. The place to be if you want to discover what’s cooking in our very vivid local jazz scene!

PLACE DE LA VIEILLE HALLE AUX BLÉS – Young Professional musicians

The Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel (KCB) and the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles (CRB) are sending their best ensembles, bringing this square to life with young, ambitious students eager to show their musical talents to an audience.
