They have lots of animals that you can get really close to see, feed & pet.There are play areas, a kids go-cart track, a bouncy castle & a fabulous new licensed cafe with an extensive menu including freshly baked cakes!

Horse riding lessons & Pony Trekking are also available through the farm & the forest (booking is essential) and they also cater for birthday parties!

There are Meerkats, llama, Goats, Chickens, Rhea, Donkeys, Alpacas, Rabbits, Deer and more. Kids can hold

some of the animals & help bottle feed the lambs (seasonable). Pony Rides within the park are also available on most days (£2/go).

Look out for the new ‘Tots Play Area’ complete with a pirate ship, due for completion towards the end of June!

Matlock Farm Park is open 10am-4:30pm 7 days a week until mid December.

nlike many commercial swim schools, School of Splash is owned by Chesterfield Swimming Club who are a not for profit competitive swimming club.

School of Splash delivers a high quality learn to swim programme in line with national standards. Being owned by a swimming club means that once your child can swim they can then progress onto competitive swimming with the same coaches. Ailie Frazer aged 7 learned to swim with School of Splash aged 4 and now regularly swims competitively with the Club at a regional level. Ailie’s mum comments: ‘It’s great that having learnt to swim and discovering a talent, Ailie could continue with the same coaches and not have to move elsewhere to an unfamiliar Club’.
