Welcome to Issue 1 of Lots for Tots Burton-Ashby! Hello, I’m Nadine, Editor of Lots for Tots. I live in Derby & I have 2 girls age 5 & 3. Having spent 2 years spreading the Lots for Tots word around Derbyshire I am now on a mission to make sure every parent in East Staffordshire, South Derbyshire & North West Leicestershire gets one too! Launching a new magazine in a new area is a lot of work & I couldn’t have done it without two fantastic business Mums who have helped me to fill the magazine & get it out to you. The Creation Station’s award-winning, hands-on art and craft exploration sessions give pre-school children, from one year old, the chance to safely experiment with a wide range of materials, tools and ideas. Anna Makin, mum of two, leads the weekly, term-time programme at Swadlincote, Ashby-de-laZouch and Tamworth. Anna said: “I love running Creation Station sessions because the children have such a great time learning! Our aim is to inspire children’s imaginations through our specially designed art and craft activities. Each week they create their own unique work of art, developing the child’s confidence, creativity and concentration. All of this comes with no mess or stress to the parent/carer as allin-one overalls are provided.”
