A MESSAGE FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS By The Lorain Locals You have probably heard the saying "birds of a feather..." But, in this town, no truer words have been spoken. If you take a look around, it is hard to find someone who has not been giving his or her all in support of this Great Lake city and its people recently. Residents and business owners alike have come together and have been achieving greatness during a time of unprecedented difficulty.
This act of coming together is nothing new, really. Our community has always shown immense support for one another. Whether attending Lorain International Festival or coming together to cheer on opposing sports teams, we continuously show unity even while demonstrating our diversity.
We have been facing unimaginablly challenging
times over the past couple of months, but even when faced with a
challenge, our community has persevered. While we all have been adapting new methods of living our day-to-day lives, we have been supporting each other through it all.
As we have ventured into uncharted waters, we have done so together. Our lives have been impacted in one way or another, but we have all faced it with the continued support of our community.
When the news began to spread about COVID-19, no one could have predicted what changes would occur in our city, let alone worldwide. Challenges no one expected to face began presenting themselves just as momentum began building in our recently revitalized city. The creative minds of new and existing small and large businesses joined forces bringing fresh ideas to formerly successful models. The adaptation has been able to keep them afloat even during these times of unpredictability leading into our tomorrows.
No one can know what the future holds for Lorain, but our team-like approach coupled with creative ideas and wheels in motion is what has and will always unite this city. It is what has brought us through tough times, and to the new period we are upon.
Alone, no one would be successful, and no business would survive. This community comes together in

good times and in difficult ones, and as long as that never changes, Lorain will continue to see greatness.
