What to Expect in Future Issues

We know that we did not include everything nor everyone worth celebrating in this first issue. And, while some might view this as a bad thing, we are OK with it.

Our publication has adapted during this current pandemic, just like other residents and local businesses have. People, events, and establishments we had planned to include during this first issue are not involved like we had envisioned due to many factors surrounding the current state of our city.

Fortunately, we will publish future issues. We will include everyone who wants to be a part of Lorain Local, and we will continue celebrating everything this Great Lake city has to offer well into the future.

As we settle into the new normal on the other side of the current restrictions and closures, we will be there to continue showcasing the positivity that exists within our city. Even during the previously unimaginable time we have been experiencing, there has remained an outpouring of greatness throughout the place we all call home.

Though this first issue was not what we had pictured, it is so much more than we could have ever dreamed it would be.

To the people and organizations who made this first issue possible, wholeheartedly thank you. From an initial idea of around 20 pages to now more than 40:

Lorain, you amaze us more and more by the day.

We are excited to be here as our city resumes and regains the momentum it was quickly building before COVID-19 started affecting our day-to-day lives.

As we began doing in the seemingly distant past, we are here to highlight the revival of a great lake city on a Great Lake coast.

Now, with a focus on a different revival, we will be here to capture and display the great things happening within our city limits.
