Five Areas of Focus In 2017, the idea for the movement culminated from a series of community charrettes, or meetings. Feedback was gathered from more than 50 community members that helped to identify five areas of focus that were important to the citizens of Lorain.
Lorain Proud is a grassroots movement of people who love Lorain and want to do their part to make it a great place to live, work, and play. Every time you volunteer your time to help a neighbor, pick up trash, or invest in your home and property, you are embodying what it is to be #LorainProud.
