Businesses Get Creative Despite State-Wide Restrictions When the news began to spread that restaurants and bars throughout the state of Ohio would be forced to close for an indefinite amount of time, businesses within our city got creative. On all sides of town, shops came up with ways to not only keep customers coming in but to keep workers busy during the immediate slowdown never before felt. Once dine-in-only bars and eateries, our city's favorite establishments have adjusted to new ways during hard times.

Speak of the Devil and their in-house kitchen, SMASH, would not let the restrictions stop them from delivering exceptional cocktails and pizza to their loyal customers.

They devised a plan to offer hungry and thirsty patrons the ability to place orders in advance and then pick up those orders through a drive-through set up in the alley adjacent to the Speak of the Devil building. The response to their first week of this setup left them sold out in less than two hours from the beginning of the presale and left more than two blocks worth of cars lined up awaiting orders.
