Employees who work at least 21 hours per week are eligible to participate in The RMR Group’s benefit plans. Benefits begin on the 1st of the month following date of hire, unless otherwise noted.

This benefit pays a tax-free lump sum directly to you for a range of illnesses. You have the option of electing coverage amounts of $10,000 or $20,000. Premiums are age based.
This voluntary program assists participants with out-of-pocket costs in the event you are hospitalized for instances including, but not limited to accidents, illness, substance abuse, pregnancy and mental disorders.
This benefit pays a tax-free lump sum directly to you for unexpected injuries that you or your dependents experience.
The RMR Group has partnered with InfoArmor to offer employees the most extensive identity protection plan available, with a $1 million insurance policy and 24/7 remediation.
Pet Insurance is offered through Nationwide. Employees may opt in at any time. $250 deductible per pet, then 50% or 70% vet bills reimbursed up to an annual maximum of $7,500. Bi-weekly costs depend on pet species, age and breed.
Care.com:
The RMR Group provides employees access to Care.com, a resource that connects families with child care, senior care, special needs care, pet care, housekeeping, and tutors.
Commuter Benefits:
Employees may set aside money pre-tax each month for transit or parking expenses as part of their commute to / from work.
Enrolling in the Saver (HSA) Plan allows you to make contributions to a Health Savings Account (HSA) where members can put aside pretax dollars to pay for qualified health care expenses. RMR makes the following annual HSA contributions: $500 for the Employee only tier, $750 for the Employee + Spouse tier, and $1,000 for the Employee + Child(ren)/Family tier.
Employees may set aside up to $5,000 for dependent care expenses and up to $3,300 for medical expenses on a pre-tax basis per plan year.
The RMR Group pays for 66.67% of weekly pay after 2 week elimination period, up to $2,500 per week. Benefit extends for up to 90 days.
The RMR Group pays 66.67% of monthly pay after STD ends, up to $10,000 per month. A Tax Choice option is available. Employees may choose to pay the monthly LTD premium to receive a tax-free benefit.
The RMR Group pays for a Life Policy of 1x earnings up to $500,000 and an Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Policy that also pays 1x earnings up to $500,000.
Employees have the option of purchasing additional life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance for themselves and their dependents at their expense. Bi-weekly deductions are age-based.
These accounts are immediately vested, and you are eligible to contribute after your first paycheck. Both PreTax and Roth plan options available. The RMR Group’s employer match is 100% of employee contributions up to 3% of pay and an additional 50% of the next 2% of pay.

Pays for tuition expenses for job-related courses. Employees are eligible for up to $20,000 per year in tuition assistance. Reimbursements over $5,250 are taxable. IRS eligibility rules apply.

Our Payactiv benefit gives you access to a percentage of the money you worked for but haven’t been paid yet.
The RMR Group matches charitable donations dollar for dollar up to $1,000 per employee per year. RMR also matches every 4-hours volunteered at a charitable organization with a $50 donation. Organizations must be a 501(c)(3) certified nonprofit.

Employees are eligible to receive 6 weeks of paid parental leave in the 12 months following the birth or adoption of a new child.
The RMR Group will reimburse expenses related to adoption of a child, up to $16,000 per adoption.

Additionally, non-exempt employees hired before October 1 will have one floating holiday to be used with manager’s approval on a day of their choice. If it is not used during the calendar year it will be forfeited. We hope this will accommodate individual needs and allow employees to take an additional holiday that is important to them.
Regional offices may need coverage for certain holidays. Regional or onsite employees should check with their managers to ensure adequate coverage if their building is open.
*The office will be closing at 2:00pm the day before these holidays.
Vacation:
Exempt/Salaried employees are eligible for flexible vacation.
Non-exempt/Hourly employees are eligible for 15 vacation days annually from their date of hire. Increases in vacation days upon reaching the following milestones:
0-1 Year - 15 days
2 Years - 16 days
3 Years - 17 days
4 Years - 18 days 5 Years - 19 days 6 Years - 20 days 7 Years - 21 days 8 Years - 22 days
Sick Time:

8 days per year accrued at a rate of 2.47 hours per bi-weekly pay period.
