I left lockdown 5 stone lighter & became a Slimming World Consultant. I lost over 5st with my local Slimming World group, by embracing the Food Optimising plan, healthy, filling food with life-long changes. I’ve also embraced more activity too, to support my new healthy lifestyle I’ve been using Slimming World’s Body Magic plan, I learnt to ice skate and developed a love for weight training. After hitting my target in December 2020, I made the exciting decision to become a Slimming World Consultant myself . I’m now thrilled to be taking on a second group in Lowton. It’s the best feeling to have the privilege of supporting other members on their journey to better health. New Years Eve 2022 was my 8th Anniversary since I joined the Slimming World community to help others lose weight after losing nearly 3 stone myself. I now love to buy and wear nice clothes again. The thought of being able to be a part of someone's success story, helping them find and achieve their dream weight, and gain confidence, to be the happier, healthier version of themselves is why I wanted to do this role. I have met some amazing people along the way, and have even had members who have achieved their club 50 weight (lost 50% of their starting weight). Its an amazing feeling watching someone blossom and grow in confidence as they slim down. I took over Golborne groups a year ago and I have never looked back, they are a lovely friendly bunch, providing lots of support and ideas each week which has helped them achieve 309 stone loss so far this year. I look forward to Wednesday each week.
