“The Lobero Theatre is quite simply my favorite venue. Period.”
Dave Asbell with Rickie Monie, pianist for Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
This year, Jazz at the Lobero is celebrating 15 years of the series that put the Lobero on the world jazz scene – and we want to keep the party going.
Jazz at the Lobero has been bringing jazz artists and fans together since its inception in 2000; this year will mark 15 years filled with over 90 unforgettable performances and countless memories – and all of this is possible thanks to the members of the Lobero Brubeck Circle.

Jazz at the Lobero and the Lobero Brubeck Circle: Working together to keep big names on the stage and fans in the seats. Through their gifts, the Brubeck Circle of donors has made it possible for Jazz at the Lobero to bring amazing jazz, blues and roots artists like Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Dr. John, Chris Thile, Robert Cray, and Keb’ Mo’ to the Lobero stage. The Brubeck Circle fund also brings music education programs to local students, creating future jazz audiences and instilling a love of this uniquely American music. As a member or a subscriber, you’ll be contributing to the vitality of the Lobero Theatre’s jazz and roots programming today and a bright future ahead for tomorrow.
If you love jazz and American roots music, we hope you’ll consider becoming a member of the Lobero Brubeck Circle with a gift of $100 or more. These gifts help Jazz at the Lobero keep presenting the top names in jazz, and brings jazz education programming to local schools, giving the students a chance to perform on the Lobero stage at the end of each session. We’re offering a new membership structure this season to Brubeck Circle members; by making a dedicated gift to Jazz, members enjoy an exclusive 20% discount on ALL Jazz at the Lobero shows during 2015. Now is an exciting time to support Jazz at the Lobero, and I hope you’ll take advantage of these great offers to celebrate how far we’ve come. Cheers to 15 incredible years – we couldn’t have done it without you.
