Loyalty Pawn Family

Hello Loyalty Family,

Another month has past, and this weather is driving me crazy. I wish mother nature would make up it’s mind one day it’s cold and rainy and the next it’s nice and warm. March is here and it makes me want to go back to Ireland to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. We are finally starting to see some of that tax money start to come through the stores and this is a great time to be creative and up-sale our clients. Making package deals is also a great way to get rid of multiple items at the same time. I know one of the stores is running a package deal for an original Xbox One and a 32” tv for $199.99. The first day they started the sale 4 sets of this deal was sold. So again, let’s be creative with these sales and share it with the rest of the company. This month we are going to get to know Justin Martinez the store manager of the West Sacramento location. Justin was born August 29th, 1983. He has been in the Pawn industry for 5 years. Wanting a change from the construction industry he was convinced by his cousin Ryan to fill out an app while he was purchasing a necklace for his future wife. He is the youngest sibling of 4 and he is the only male. Growing up in Folsom California he attended Folsom High School. He has always been an adrenaline junky, so he joined the wrestling team and made it all the way up to the varsity team where he lettered. Wrestling wasn’t the only sport Justin was involved with. His family has always been a huge baseball family, he has even had one of his uncles in the major league’s uncle Buck. Since retiring from baseball he’s now an announcer for the Toronto Blue Jays. Family means everything to Justin especially the relationship that he has with his father Jim. So many skills and trades Justin says he learned from him like hunting, fishing, and archery. I’ve heard he’s pretty good with a bow so good in fact he can split a regular playing cards thickness with an arrow or gun. It was amazing getting to hear Justin talk about all of his adventures and outings but nothing more thrilling than his lifelong obsession with snowboarding. His love for snowboarding hasn’t come without a hefty price and toll on his body. The first time he got a season pass he broke 4 of his ribs. You would think that would stop someone from going back out there but not Justin. He felt it more thrilling and always wanting to push the envelope. To this date he has had multiple broken bones, several concussions, bruised and beaten but he says it’s well worth it. It is needless to say he is a true adrenaline junky he loves snowboarding so much he even admitted that he would rather go snowboarding than to go shooting. Justin still considers himself to be newly wed reaching the 2nd year of marriage to his wife Adriene. They have plans of purchasing their first home soon. The have two cats named Frank and Hank and one dog named Bullseye. Bullseye is the celebrity in the family and has a social media following on Instagram which I am now a fan myself you can find him @bulleyeandtheboys if you would like to check it out. When asked what Justin enjoyed about the industry his response was simple, he likes the different verity of customers and what they bring into the shop. Also, he has never been in an industry where time flies so fast since you’re always busy and everything is always changing. Last, he loves the opportunity do the GIA training and be able to train with companies like ICG. For future plans he would like to be the first GG for Loyalty Pawn and be certified by GIA. He’s also looking forward to growing the West Sac location by getting into the gun industry and maybe even expanding the company out of the state.
