A Prince’s Golf Club újra bekerült Nagy Britannia & Írország Top 100-as listájára! Prince’s Golf Club re-enters multiple Great Britain & Ireland Top 100 rankings.

A Prince’s Golf Club (Sandwich Bay, Kent) az egyik legrégebbi links golfpálya Nagy Britanniában. A története során, 1932- ben Angol Nyilt Golfbajnokságot is renzetek már itt, amit Gene Sarazen nyert. Az utóbbi időkben pedig a klub adott otthont a British Open selejtező tornájának, valamint 2013-ban és 2017- ben a társrendezője volt az Angol Amatőr Bajnokságnak a Royal Cinque Ports, illetve a Royal St. George’s klubokkal. A Prince’s Golf Club 27 lyukas pályával rendelkezik, kiváló gyakorló lehetőségeket biztosít a játékosoknak, központi elhelyezkedésű klubháza van, a személyzete segítőkész. A hét

A Prince’s Golf Club most a 80-as évek sikerei után ismét szárnyal, s újra bekerült Nagy Britannia & Írország Top 100-as listájára, ami a pálya elmúlt két évi újratervezésénekeredménye! Az átalakítást a Mackenzie and Ebert mérnöki iroda végezte ►–Büszkék vagyunk rá, hogy a mind a három 9 lyukas pályaszakasz megújult, s remek lett –mondta Rob McGuirk, a Prince’s vezérigazgatója. –Köszönet Martin Ebertnek és a Sean McLean vezette green-keeper csapatunknak a kemény és sikeres munkájukért. A Himalayas elnevezésű 9 lyukas szakaszt már 2018-ban birtokba vehették a játékosok, a Shore and Dunes 9 lyukas szakaszokat pedig 2020 tavaszán. A klub az angol ranglistán 10 helyet lépett előre, s most a 49. helyen áll. ■

Prince’s Golf Club, host of the 1932 Open Championship, has broken back into the Great Britain and Ireland Top 100 rankings with both Top100GolfCourses.com and National Club Golfer. The first time the famed Kent links has been present in such rankings for 35 years, the re-entries come as a direct result of the extensive works carried out across the 27-hole property by renowned course architects Mackenzie and Ebert over the past two years. ►– We’re delighted that the quality work across all three nine holes has been recognised by both these rankings – said Rob McGuirk, General Manager at Prince’s. – To re-enter the Top 100 rankings is testament to the vision of Martin Ebert and the hard work of our greens staff, headed by Sean McLean. Phase one of the redevelopment work undertaken by Mackenzie and Ebert was the now lauded ‘reimagination’ of the Himalayas nine, completed in Spring 2018. Since then, significant works have been completed on both the Shore and Dunes nines with a grand-opening planned in spring 2020. The significant move in Great Britain and Ireland rankings follows recent success in English listings, where the club moved 10 places with Golf World magazine to No.49. ■
