Tuscany is on almost everyone's bucket list, it's so beautiful and romantic. Within this, there is also a settlement, Montefollonico, which attracts tourists looking for specialties, gastronomy and wine lovers. The Hungarian-Italian couple Ágnes Bucs and Paolo Masini run Agriturismo accommodation, a restaurant and a cooking school called TOSCANA COOKING SCHOOL on the Ficopazzo Estate, adorned with 30 olive trees and a swimming pool, 3 km from the historic center of the settlement.

The Ficopazzo Estate was established in 2018, the name was chosen based on Paolo's youthful experience. He visited, lived and worked in many Italian places in order to cope with the ins and outs of his profession. (For example: Portofino, Roma, Florence, and the island of Stromboli in the South.) The name of the beach promenade in the latter place is FICOPAZZO. From there – as from Naples – you can see Vesuvius well. In a somewhat similar way, from the Tuscan estate you can also see the famous place of the Val d'Orcia province (Monte Amiata mountain), whose cone eerily resembles Vesuvius, and hence the name of our Tuscan estate Ficopazzo.

Toszkána majdnem mindenkinek szerepel a bakancslistáján, anynyira szép, romantikus. Ezen belül is van egy település, Montefollonico, amely vonzza a különlegességekre vágyó turistákat, a gasztronómia és a borok szerelmeseit. A Bucs Ágnes és Paolo Masini magyar-olasz házaspár a település történelmi központjától 3 km-re üzemeltet 30 olívafával, s úszómedencével ékesített Ficopazzo birtokon Agriturismo szálláshelyeket, éttermet, s TOSCANA COOKING SCHOOL néven főzőiskolát.

2018-ban jött létre a Ficopazzo birtok, a név választása Paolo fiatalkori élménye alapján történt. Annó sok olasz helyen járt, élt, s dolgozott, hogy a szakmája csínját-bínját elleshesse. (Például: Portofino, Roma, Firenze, s délen Stromboli szigete.) Ez utóbbi hely tengerparti sétányának neve a FICOPAZZO. Onnan - mint Nápolyból is - jól rá lehet látni a Vezúvra. Kicsit hasonlóan a toszkán birtokról is rálátni a Val d’ Orcia tartomány híres helyére (Monte Amiata hegy), amelynek kúpja kísérteti - esen hasonlít a Vezúvéra, s ebből fakadóan lett Ficopazzo az elnevezése a toszkán birtokunknak is.

I have been living in Tuscany since 2007, my Italian husband Paolo Masini is Chef Supervisor, and we run our business together. Paolo's family is of Neapolitan origin, his paternal grandmother was a chef at the court of the last king of Naples (Victor Emanuele II), from where he left many special recipes that everyone loves in Paolo's presentation, including the local Italians.

2007 óta élek Toszkánában, olasz férjem, Paolo Masini Chef Supervisor, mi ketten együtt vezetjük a vállalkozásunkat. Paolo csa - ládja nápolyi származású, apai ágon a nagymama az utolsó nápolyi király (II. Victor Emanuele) udvarában volt chef, innen maradt sok-sok speciális recept, amit Paolo prezentálásában mindenki imád, a helyi olaszok is.

2022-ben 280 magyar turista látogatott el hozzánk a Ficopazzo birtokra, hogy élvezze a vendégszeretetünket. Járt náluk többször is a táncművész Keleti Andrea, a humorista Nacsa Olivér, a borász Liszkay Mihály, a sommelier Gere Andrea, a divattervező Lukéj Gabi, s férje, a Cápák között TV-s üzleti showban közreműködő nagyvállalkozó, Moldován András is, hogy csak pár nevet említsünk.

Nálunk nem csak szállásra és finom ételekre lelnek a vendégeink, hanem elsajátíthatják a toszkán vidékre annyira jellemző gasztronómiai finomságok készítését is.

A TOSCANA COOKING SCHOOL főzőiskolánkban Paolotól és testvérétől, Terrytől megtanulhat bárki tésztát gyúrni és sodorni, szaftos és könnyed előételeket készíteni, húsokat pácolni és sütni – olasz módon. Kóstolhatnak a vendégeink helyi olívabogyót és olíva olajat (A birtokunkon minden év október végén leszüretelt olívabogyókból extra szűz olívaolaj készül, s egész évben ezt használjuk.) Kínálunk olasz sajtokat és friss tengeri herkentyűket is. Mindezt úgy, hogy közben a toszkán nap mosolyog le ránk, s vendégeinkre, a magas ciprusok suhogása behallatszik az ablakon, és a jól elvégzett „munka” után, vagy már közben, biztos, hogy kerül valamilyen finom bor, vagy prosecco is a poharakba.

De a főzőtanfolyam csak egy lehetőség a sok közül, amit ajánlani tudunk. Szervezünk gasztro- és bortúrákat a környéken, nagyon népszerűek például a szarvasgomba vadászatok, amikor kutyákkal keressük meg az erdőben a természet „aranyát”, az amúgy méregdrága szarvasgomba gumókat, illetve apartmanjaink és szobáink olyan csillagtúrák esetén is kivehetők, mint mondjuk egy

In 2022, 280 Hungarian tourists visited us at the Ficopazzo estate to enjoy our hospitality. Dance artist Andrea Keleti, comedian Olivér Nacsa, winemaker Mihály Liszkay, sommelier Andrea Gere, fashion designer Gabi Lukéj, and her husband, András Moldován, a major entrepreneur who participates in the TV business show Between the Sharks, have visited them several times, just to name a few. Here, our guests will not only find accommodation and delicious food, but they can also learn how to prepare the gastronomic delicacies so typical of the Tuscan countryside. In our TOSCANA COOKING SCHOOL, anyone can learn to knead and roll dough, prepare juicy and light appetizers, marinate and bake meat - the Italian way - from Paolo and his brother Terry. Our guests can taste local olives and olive oil. All this while the Tuscan sun smiles down on us and our guests, the rustling of the tall cypresses can be heard through the window, and after the well-done "work", or already during it, some delicious wine or prosecco is sure to be poured into the glasses. But the cooking course is only one option among many that we can offer. We organize gastro and wine tours in the area, truffle hunts are very popular, for example, when we search for nature's "gold" in the forest with dogs, the already extremely expensive truffle tubers, and our apartments and rooms can also be rented out for tours, such as a culinary tour in Tuscany. A swimming pool is also available at our accommodation, and guests enjoy a Spritz Aperol or other cocktail on the water's edge in the summer. At the Ficopazzo Estate, we organize events with an unforgettable Tuscan atmosphere, including weddings. Most recently, in October 2022, for example, there was an officially registered civil wedding of 30 Hungarians, followed by a 4-day wedding party. With the wedding organization, we can provide maximum assistance in 5 languages, the legal background, music, photographer, flower arrangements, hairdresser, kulináris körtúra Toszkánában. A szálláshelyeinken úszómedence is rendelkezésre áll, nyáron a vízparton különösen jól esik a vendégeknek egy Spritz Aperol vagy más koktél.

A Ficopazzo birtokon felejthetetlen toszkán hangulatú rendezvényeket, így esküvőket is szervezünk. Legutóbb, 2022 októberében például 30 fős magyar, hivatalosan bejegyzett polgári esküvő volt, majd 4 napos lakodalom. Az esküvő szervezéssel mindenben maximális segítséget tudunk nyújtani 5 nyelven, a jogi háttér, a zene, a fotós, a virágdíszek, a fodrász, az autóbérlés, az esküvői vagy ünnepi vacsora, ebéd, catering szerviz, azaz a teljes körű esküvő lebonyolítás mind-mind megoldható.

Évek óta nagyon népszerűek az általunk kínált „Toszkán élménynapok”. Minden program szállással szervezett. A 4 nap/3 éj program például a következőt tartalmazza 2 fő részére: mediterrán stílusú szállás, reggelik, érkezéskor welcome ital + aperitivo, 1 alkalommal 3 fogásos toszkán kóstoló vacsora borral a Ficopazzo éttermünkben/La Guida Michelin, 1 délelőtt toszkán főzőlecke, 1 alkalommal félnapos toszkán túra Montepulciano, Pienza és Val d’ Orcia meglátogatása, majd borpince látogatás borkóstolóval. Természetesen lehet foglalni 5, 6 és 7 napos programokat is nálunk, a web lapunkon az árak megtalálhatók.

A Ficopazzo birtok elhelyezkedése tökéletes, innen gyorsan megközelíthetők az ismert, s kedvelt toszkán városok. Montefollonico történelmi negyede csak 3 km, Montepulciano 8 km, Pienza 10 km, Cortona 20 km, Montalcino 32 km, Arezzo 53 km, Siena 61 km, San Gimignano 100 km, s Firenze 110 km, Pisa 191, Róma 196 km.

A csillagtúrák során ikonikus, képeslapszerű helyek fotózása kérhető tőlünk, híres film helyszínek megörökítésére is módot adunk. Montepulcianóban forgatták például a sokak által kedvelt Twighlight filmet. Pisába, Firenzébe és Rómába lehet repülni, s innen bérelt kocsival megközelíteni a Ficopazzo birtokot. Kocsibérlésben is tudunk segíteni.
