The Beckers began searching for a log cabin to renovate in order to create a Texas Hill Country get-away from their home in San Antonio. The cabin was discovered in 1990, and along with it, 46 acres of raw land and fallow fields of deep sand and Precambrian granitic soils 1500 feet above sea level.

The first harvest in 1995, laid the foundation for what is now an average of 100,000 case per year winery. Becker Vineyards' wine has been served in the stateliest of settings, including seven times in the White House, the James Beard Foundation in New York, the Texas Governor's Mansion and many other famous restaurants in Texas and the United States.

Becker Farms, Inc. employs over 50 people and cultivates approximately 56 acres of estate fruit featuring 9 wine grape varietals.

The Becker Family aspires to maintain the "Old World" feel at the winery. As you make your way down Becker Farms Road, alongside the estate Petite Sirah and Sauvignon Blanc, you cross the stone bridge and see the main tasting room entrance and winery.

Situated in the rolling hills of Central Texas where the Pedernales River Valley meets Grape Creek, at Signor Vineyards the focus is on growing premium varietal fruit and the crafting of exceptional, soulful wines reflective of the unique terroir.

The wine tasting was exceptional with 2021 Roussanne and 2021 Estate Rosé and 2020 Mozzafiato and 2019 Sangiovese.

Joanna's Market is also located at the vineyard and features snacks, sweets and gifts.
