The season of love is upon us and what better way to celebrate than by spreading love to everyone around us?!! We compiled five different Valentine's Day gift guides that we hope will help you choose out the perfect gift... although if we're honest... they're no greater gift than simply showing up and letting others know that they're loved. This month, we also share a few hidden gems at Downtown Disney along with the best places to get heart-shaped pizzas. HEART SHAPEDÂ CHURROS by Stephanie Powers
We can't pass by a churro stand and not purchase one or two... or a few. So what better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than with Heart Shaped Churros?!! Note: We purchased the churro mix "Tres Estrellas Flour Mix Churros" at Northgate. The box comes with its own pipping bag and pipping tip to form your hearts.
DIRECTIONS Follow the instructions on the box to make the churro mix. After making the mix, set out a tray with parchment paper and pipe out the churro hearts onto the tray. Freeze for 20 minutes. While the churros are freezing, get your sugar and cinnamon ready to coat the churro. 1/2 cup of sugar and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon. Add pink sugar sprinkles (optional). In a sauce pan, heat up oil to fill 1.2 inches deep. Fry until golden brown then toss in the cinnamon sugar mix. Serve these cute churros hot with some Abuelita hot chocolate.

Easy Valentine’s Day craft for kids
SNOOPY VALENTINE BOX by Stephanie Powers MATERIALS glue gun scissors black marker sponge brush ruler gable box red paint gloves (optional) Snoopy Valentine Coloring book (or anything you can find with Snoopy on it)
DIRECTIONS Assemble the gable box before painting. Apply the first coat of paint, let dry and then apply the second coat. Double check if you missed any spots. If you did, apply more paint. Once the gable box is completely dry, use your black marker and draw the door. If it makes it easier, you can use a pencil first and draw the door and write out “Snoopy” on top of the door. Go over it with the black marker. Next, make the lines that go around the gable box. The lines don’t have to be perfect, but if you want to get your ruler out and make those line straight, go for it. Cut out the Snoopy from the front cover of the coloring book and a couple of the Valentine letters he is carrying. Glue the Snoopy cut out with a glue gun.

We love visiting the Disneyland Resort, but for us, the fun starts before we even get into the park. Downtown Disney is going through renovations and new shop openings, and here I share my three favorite hidden gems at Downtown Disney. Best of all - no annual pass needed! TRADER SAM'S ENCHANTED TIKI BAR
Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar is located right outside Downtown Disney in the Disneyland Hotel. The Tiki Bar is inspired by the world famous jungle cruise ride in Disneyland. This romantic and adventures bar has tropical colorful cocktails and amazing Hawaii inspired appetizers, try the Hawaiian nachos they are amazing. You can also order a pineapple dole whip with rum (secret menu) just make sure to ask and they'll be glad to make it for you. Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar welcomes children until 8 pm, but is restricted to Guests 21 and over thereafter.
HEARTHSTONE LOUNGE
Hearthstone Lounge is located inside Disney Grand Californian Hotel. It's a great place to hangout with friends and enjoy some amazing cocktails. They have a Mickey Mouse Shaped Artizanal Pizza, Mickey's Baked Alaska (Chocolate Ice Cream encased with bruleed Meringue and raspberry sauce). Everything is amazing, especially their cocktails. They have the Pina CoLAVA, for those of you that were in love with the Cove Bar in California Adventure, this drink will bring back great memories! THE COFFEE HOUSE
The Coffee House is also located at the Disneyland Hotel. This little cafe is amazing. They have donuts inspired by your favorite Disney Characters: Minnie and Mickey mini cakes, and Mickey Mouse cookies. Guess what, you don't have to have to go to Disneyland to get your fix of Dole whip and Mickey waffles. The Coffee House sells them and they also sell the Dole Whip with some rum! These are the 3 things you must do at SeaWorld San Diego for a full day of fun, learning, play and new experiences. SeaWorld Behind-the-Scenes Tour The SeaWorld Behind-the-Scenes Tour takes you where all the action happens. This is where you see where you see how SeaWorld rescues and rehabilitates marine and terrestrial animals that are ill, injured, orphaned or abandoned, with the goal of returning them to the wild. Dine with Shamu Make a reservation before you get to the park (or while you’re there if it’s not too busy) and have lunch sitting down next to where the orcas perform. Dine with Shamugets the opportunity to see the trainers play and feed them before the show begins. The kids also got a chance to throw snowballs to the orcas so they could munch on them. Sea Lions LIVE SeaWorld San Diego hosts a show featuring some of funniest animals, sea lions!
