5 MINUTE "POOH" COSTUME

by Stephanie Powers

Make this adorable Winnie the Pooh costume in just a few minutes!

SUPPLIES Red solid shirt Yellow leggings or shorts Yellow Fabric paint DIRECTIONS The only thing you would have to do for this costume is, write "Pooh" onto the solid red shirt with the yellow fabric paint. Make sure to put something underneath the shirt just in case the paint goes through the shirt. We used cardboard, but you can use another similar item like a notebook or magazine. Remember, the script doesn't have to be perfect, it's suppose to look like Pooh wrote it himself. Let the paint dry overnight, or if you need it quicker, take your blow dryer and start drying. Have a Honeyfull halloween! Tip: Shop for the materials at your local thrift store. We got our red shirt for 99 cents and the leggings for $2 at the thrift store.

Consider using makeup instead. Props If a sword, cane, gun, or stick is a part of your child's costume, make sure it is not sharp or too long.  Should be made of a flexible material. Do not point toy guns or weapons at people, especially at police officers! Teach children Their home phone number The principle of "Stop-Drop-Roll", should their clothes catch on fire.
