The On-Campus Shark Shuttle operates Monday–Friday during the fall and spring semesters. Service is suspended during intersessions and holidays (e.g., Thanksgiving Break, President’s Day, and Spring Recess). View the Academic Calendar for exact dates.
Beginning at the West Gate, the On-Campus Shark Shuttle runs every 30 minutes with stops at:
• East-Bound NICE n20h Bus Stop
• West-Bound NICE n20h Bus Stop
• Pell Hall
• First-Year Quad
• Interfaith Chapel
• Sculpture Studio and Music Rehearsal
• Roosevelt House
• Lorber Hall
• Pratt Recreation Center
• Hillwood Commons
Long Island University partners with the Nassau Inter-County Express (NICE) Bus for off-campus transportation for LIU students*. The n20h NICE Bus stops on University Drive and at other convenient locations including:
• Great Neck & Hicksville LIRR Stations
• Broadway Mall, Wheatley Plaza, & the Americana Manhasset Shopping Mall
• and many more!
All enrolled LIU students can claim 20 FREE one-way tickets with three easy steps:
1. Download the NICE GoMobile App onto your mobile device
2. Create your account using your MyLIU email address (@my.liu.edu)
3. Your 20 tickets will be auto-loaded into your account within 24 hours.
