Pendl Nassau County Firefighters Museum and Education Center 1 Davis Ave., Garden City NY 11530 516-572-4177 The Nassau County Firefighters Museum and Education Center provides a unique setting for the preservation and interpretation of our local volunteer fire services heritage via the collection, restoration, and exhibition of historic and contemporary firematic memorabilia and equipment. The visitor experience at the Center increases public appreciation and awareness of the fire services in Nassau County and stimulates volunteer recruitment in local departments.

Old Bethpage Village Restoration 1303 Round Swamp Road Old Bethpage NY 11804 (516) 572-8409 The Old Bethpage Village Restoration is a 209acre recreated living museum village in Old Bethpage, New York. The village opened in 1970 with dozens of historic structures that had been saved from demolition by Nassau County. Costumed actors provide demonstrations of 19th-century life. Queens County Farm Museum 73-50 Little Neck Pkwy, Queens NY 11004 (718) 347-3276 The Queens County Farm Museum is a New York City Landmark, on the National Register of Historic Places and a member of the Historic House Trust of New York City. Queens County Farm Museum dates back to 1697 and occupies New York City’s largest remaining tract of undisturbed farmland. The farm encompasses a 47-acre parcel that is one of the longest continuously farmed sites in New York State. The site includes historic farm buildings, a greenhouse complex, livestock, farm vehicles and implements, planting fields, an orchard, and an herb garden.
