With you, we create the decision-making criteria of tomorrow.
Our position at the top of market and social research in Switzerland didn’t just happen — we relentlessly pursue high standards in our work. This is the reason our mission statement focuses not only on our output in terms of our projects and customer satisfaction, but also on how we achieve this.
, always.
We listen, adopt an entrepreneurial perspective and get actively involved: committed, competent, precise, reliable and with a clear focus on quality and results.
Whether it’s a traditional company, an authority or a startup – the LINK team is always the right partner.
We enthusiastically help companies and decision makers to understand markets and consumers in more depth.
Thanks to our method knowledge, we obtain market data efficiently and effectively. We incorporate benchmarks, gain insights and develop recommendations for action, hand in hand with our customers.
“Work” and “life” go hand in hand and lie at the heart of what it means to be human, and each day we analyze people as part of society and as active consumers. Market and social researchers put their all into their work — including long hours when it really matters. We’d rather carry out our work in step with the times and on compelling customer projects than be bored from 9 to 5.
Benedikt Lüthi, Chairman of the Board LINK and General Manager YouGov DACHIn December 2021, we joined YouGov, a leading international group of companies that focuses on market and social research as well as data products and analyses. Founded in the United Kingdom in 2000, YouGov is listed on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in London. We’re proud to be a member of such a successful global community and contribute to YouGov’s success with our power to innovate. Our affiliation with YouGov lets us connect our Swiss DNA with an international research network. We’ve been pursuing excellence in research for more than 40 years. Since our founding in 1981 in Lucerne, we’ve firmly fixed our eyes on innovation, earning LINK the leading position among Swiss market and social research companies.
Our values, which all LINKians follow each and every day, are reflected in our work and our culture and are what sets us apart from the competition. Respect is at the core of our interactions: We continuously learn from one another and motivate each other to deliver our best.
Joining forces, we collaboratively take an innovative, hands-on approach to finding solutions for our customers. Identifying problems is good, finding solutions is better.
We engage with one another, learn from one another, develop solutions with one another, help customers move forward, grow together as a team, and actively get involved.
Structured and purposeful, we have a clear eye for detail while understanding the big picture and we never lose sight of the objective.
We’ve become the Swiss market leader by gaining trust through our competence, quality and reliability.
In our work, we span the opposing poles of science and business and draw our motivation from the relevance of the topics we address. We’re proud to work at LINK as our outstanding reputation is also echoed in our regular customer satisfaction survey. These results arise from the palpable positive spirit that infuses LINK as well as our ability to dynamically collaborate across teams and business units.
In 2022 and 2021, we asked our customers how satisfied they were with their cooperation with LINK. They awarded us
8,8
points out of 10 in both years.
Our mission at LINK is to continuously deliver quality and innovation and to challenge ourselves to provide the best possible service to our clients. We pride ourselves on being a company that not only delivers excellence, but also provides an inspiring work environment where talented people can come together and grow together. We place great emphasis on a positive company culture characterised by collaboration, creativity, fun and a strong team spirit. I am excited to work with my colleagues every day to realise our vision.
Research expertise, innovation and exceptional quality standards: Our marketing research delivers tailored insights for all sectors. Whether the research concerns marketing efficiency, product development, pricing, branding and image, qualitative research, customer experience or advanced analytics: We make recommendations about the approach, target group and collection methodologies that specifically reflect the findings our customers need. By continuously refining our tools and methodologies, we live innovation and always strive to achieve the best quality in conception, data collection and analysis.
LINK unites the modern with the traditional: At our company, agile, implicit research methodologies and phone-based representative studies along with machine learning, classic data processing, an innovative spirit and survey quality all come together under one roof. Our customers are always at the center of our attention: It’s for them that we strive to find the best solution and continue to develop ourselves. As a member of YouGov’s international research network, LINK also offers projects and advancement opportunities that extend beyond Switzerland.
Stefan Reiser, Managing Director Marketing ResearchMaking a relevant contribution to society motivates us and defines our work. We take great care in our work to record the contrasting opinions of the population in order to create reliable, objective decision-making criteria for political leaders. For many years now we have also served as a partner to the scientific community in Switzerland and abroad, which appreciates our high ethical and quality standards in collecting data.
Dr. Sabine Frenzel, Managing Director Social ResearchThe political and scientific communities need data they can rely on — it's good there's LINK social research. We’re an important data supplier for the Swiss Federal Statistical Office and meet the highest standards for representativity. Our data serves as a reliable indicator of the acceptance and effectiveness of political measures at the national, cantonal and municipal level as well as a basis for scientific research in Switzerland and abroad. In addition to large-scale studies on work, health, education, politics, media and mobility, the social research team also oversees a number of surveys on current topics of social relevance, thus providing the Swiss population with a voice that really gets heard.
Good ideas are one thing; intelligent, efficient implementation is another. Our Services business unit provides a broad range of expertise in the execution of studies, including study management, survey programming, data analysis and presentation, recruitment of personnel and billing. We have our own IT infrastructure and can carry out the technical implementation of every conceivable customer requirement.
Each day, we collect the opinions of Swiss citizens using computer-assisted phone, face-to-face and online interviews, making us an attractive employer for up to 350 part-time positions, too.
We’re also proud of our panel boasting 115,000 active members, all recruited by telephone — it’s oneof-a kind in the world and the largest, most representative online panel in Switzerland. In addition, teams such as IT support, IT development, finance, marketing, HR and back office round out in the Services business unit and ensure LINK operates efficiently.
I really appreciate the inspiring working environment at LINK. Here, motivated people work together who are jointly dedicated to the task of offering our clients real added value. The combination of this attitude and a prevailing can-do mentality creates a dynamic and very positive working environment. Being part of YouGov also offers us numerous international (learning) opportunities and enables continuous personal development. This unique mix makes LINK a great employer!
Chris Kaiser CFOThose are just a few of the many important aspects that define our work. If you can identify with them, we’re on the same wavelength and you’ll feel right at home in the working environment at LINK.
We LINK people, companies and society.

This forms the basis for our innovations and our top-quality services. Appreciation is important to us: We treat one another with respect and openly address mistakes.

Those who work at LINK are team players and enjoy lending a hand. We’re looking for people who think outside the box and like to contribute their ideas — we definitely make room for their insights and always have an open ear for them. There’s still room for innovation in addition to carrying out the around 800 research projects for our customers each year.

These tools help us excel
We want to offer our employees a state-of-the-art technical setup that facilitates smooth collaboration within LINK, with our YouGov colleagues around the world and with our customers.
Thanks to our highly qualified IT staff, we also develop our own platforms such as the Swiss Brand Observer and products such as the Municipality Check as well as project-specific, tailor-made solutions such as apps and mobility trackers. Additional tools you may use depend on your position, but you can look forward to a smooth-running project environment that’s always kept up to date.
We use Zoom and Slack to also ensure a global dialogue with YouGov; for internal projects, we mostly use JIRA and Confluence. For our market and social research projects, we rely on innovative technologies, and tools such as quantilope, Dimensions, Ingress and Dapresy enable us to complete our studies quickly and with exceptional quality.
We use the complete MS Office 365 suite and are effectively networked through Teams and Outlook so we can always perform at our best at flexible working hours and at different work locations.
At the beginning of 2021, we moved to Baslerpark in Zurich where we provide flexible workstations with everything you need. If the two screens on your height-adjustable desk aren’t enough for you, you’ll find not only our Felfel fridge in our LINKeria, but also a Nintendo Switch with a screen that’s guaranteed larger than the one you have at home.
If you’re in the mood for a round of ping-pong following a shared lunch in our LINKeria, you’re sure to find several colleagues ready to join you for a match. And: Through our offices in Lucerne and Lausanne, we’re networked throughout Switzerland.
What makes the ideal LINKian? Well, first and foremost, having enthusiasm for the job. We enjoy doing what we do every day because our job is diverse and challenging and gives us a lot freedom to be creative. You can see here what else you’ll need:
