The Youth House project aims to design housing units for mostly young adults aged from 24 to 30 who are professionals, leveraging the impacts of color on mood to reduce stress and loneliness. By intergrating principles of color psychology, the design will promote comfort, relaxation and a sense of belonging. This project is established on the foundation of a heritage building, formerly a factory ad warehouse complex in Abbotsford, Melbourne. The primary motivations for choosing this site include reducing construction costs and exploring innovative design applications within an historical context while preserving its original character.

This project features a two-storey student housing development located at 4 Paterson Street, Hawthorn, created using Revit. The design focuses on flexibility and adaptivity, incorporating a parametric component that adjusts seamlessly to accommodate various unit sizes and functional needs. Emphasis was placed on meeting local building regulations while optimizing space for a comfortable, modern living experience tailored to students.
thibaud herem’s exhibition
This exhibition project showcases the works of Thibaud Herem, a French illustrator based in London known for his meticulous pencil and Indian ink drawings. With a background in graphic design, Herem’s portfolio spans detailed architectural illustrations and minimalists bird portraits. The exhibition captures his unique artistic process and diverse inspirations, including American illustrators, cartoons and Tomy Ungerer. It also highlights his recent fascination with small, intricate subjects, especially those influenced by his experiences in Korea.
