ACTIVE AGING
WHAT IS ACTIVE AGING?
Newton’s First Law of Motion is “an object in motion stays in motion.” So let’s get moving!
Research shows that if you start living a healthy lifestyle earlier in life, you have better chances of staying healthy as you get older. Staying physically active, eating well, socializing, and improving your health can help you live a healthy, happy, and active life as you get older.
This is a wonderful time of year to get out and enjoy the beautiful mild weather. Take a walk around the block and soak in the sunshine and fresh air!

THE POWER OF GRATITUDE FOR HEALTH & WELL-BEING
Gratitude isn’t just a feel-good emotion—it’s a science-backed habit that boosts physical, mental, and emotional health. Studies show that grateful people sleep better, have stronger immune systems, and experience less stress and depression. By focusing on what’s going well, you train your brain to see abundance instead of lack—creating more calm, connection, and resilience in everyday life.
Try these 3 simple gratitude actions:
Journal it: Each night, write down three things you’re thankful for. Even small moments count. Say it: Express appreciation to someone today—gratitude deepens relationships and lifts moods.
Pause for it: Take a mindful moment to notice something good right now—the warmth of your coffee, a breath of fresh air, a kind smile.
Small daily doses of gratitude can transform your health, mindset, and overall well-being.
