Fathers and Father Figures
As we approach the month of June and our annual tribute to fathers in our Men’s Issue, I wanted to include my personal appreciation for all the dads. While nearly no one looks at the camera and gives the shout-out, “Hi Dad”, and almost everyone is anxious to say, “Hi Mom” during their 15 minutes of fame, “Dad, you are important for so many reasons”.

According to one government agency, one-third of kids in America grow up without a dad in the home but one local story has a beautiful ending and the father figure influenced a young man who is giving back in a Big way.
Steve Myers, whom you will read about in the pages that follow, has been the beneficiary of a father figure, brought together by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Snohomish County in 1994. Steve was matched with Big Brother, Rich, who gave of his time and resources to speak into the life of at least one young man, and the result is nothing short of inspiring.
I, too, have had the benefit of father figures in addition to my own father, all of whom have helped guide my energy and influence my character. Encouragement, correction, advice, and even a silent listener willing to share time around the fire pit, all have helped shape my life and provided much-needed wisdom to me.
Remember, dads, you don’t have to know everything or appreciate the latest music, but your availability, your presence, and your curiosity are an elixir to the young and energetic people in your community and our community at large. They need you, and so do we. Happy Father’s Day!

Fueled by FunThe Bill Webster Way
by Kindness
If you’ve ever wandered through Snohomish and found yourself smiling, maybe during a parade, after a perfectly cooked turkey dinner, or even after finding a random rubber chicken, you’ve probably experienced a little bit of Bill Webster magic. He doesn’t just show up for his community, he shows out.
When he’s not running his painting business (ABW Enterprises) or cooking scratch-made meals for hundreds of families, Bill’s busy doing what he does best: lifting people up. Whether he’s organizing festivals, stocking food bank shelves,

or handing out hundreds of gloves and socks, he’s making life brighter, usually with a joke, a grin, or a wind-up toy in hand.
He’s a board member, a president, a volunteer, a food bank superhero, and a proud Snohomish Lions Club member, but most of all, he’s proof that one person, powered by kindness and fueled by fun, can make the world (or at least Snohomish) a better, brighter, and more joyful place to live. That’s The Bill Webster Way.
FEEDING SOULS—AND STOMACHS
Bill’s heart is as big as his cooking pans. Since 2020, he’s made it his mission to cook and deliver full Thanksgiving dinners to families who might not otherwise have one. Bill’s no slouch, he’s known to whip up full, from-scratch Thanksgiving feasts - no frozen meals here!
Last year alone, Bill and his crew served up over 600 hot meals to 227 families across King and Snohomish counties. The Thanksgiving meal delivery program is just one way Bill has made a lasting impact at the Snohomish Food Bank.
But his giving spirit isn’t seasonal. He’s a weekly volunteer at the food bank and helps rally donations through social media and events like the Harvest Market, where he matches funds and organizes food drives. When the shelves run low, Bill finds a way to stock them, making sure everyone, including our four-legged friends, has what they need.
That’s just part of The Bill Webster Way.
KLA HA YA DAYS: KEEPING THE PARTY GOING
In 2022, Kla Ha Ya Days was on the brink of disappearing, with the festival board considering pulling the plug. But Bill couldn’t let Snohomish lose one of its favorite traditions. So, with his partner in crime (and life), Erin Webster, by his side, they decided to take the reins. Since then,

“BILL WEBSTER ISN’T JUST A COMMUNITY LEADER, HE’S A FEEL-GOOD FORCE OF NATURE. HE’S A REMINDER THAT BEING A GOOD NEIGHBOR DOESN’T REQUIRE A TITLE OR A BUDGET - JUST HEART, HUSTLE, HUMOR, AND MAYBE A RUBBER CHICKEN OR TWO.”

they’ve brought new life to the festival, along with some seriously fun extras like GroundFrog Day, the Easter Parade, and the infamous Zombie Walk.
Kla Ha Ya Days now has it all - carnivals, frogtastic kids’ fair, a parade, a vendor market, a beer garden, live music, balloon glow, and an art exhibit featuring some seriously talented youth. Bill has made sure this iconic festival isn’t just a blast - it’s a staple of what makes Snohomish so special. Just like he is to us.
COLD HANDS, WARM HEARTS (AND MAYBE A RUBBER CHICKEN)
When the weather turns cold, Bill turns up the heat on his efforts. Each December, he organizes a winter necessities drive for the local cold weather shelter, collecting coats, socks, hats, and hand warmers. Last year alone, more than 500 pounds of donations were gathered. And when the food bank was in need of gloves and socks, Bill didn’t hesitate, he raised $1,000 and bought 400 pairs of gloves and 500 pairs of socks.
He’s on the Board of Directors of the Snohomish Chamber of Commerce, serves on the Public Safety Commission, and supports numerous events and associations - you name it, he’s probably involved in some way.
Despite the long list of responsibilities and the many hats he wears, literally and figuratively, Bill is never too busy to make someone laugh. With a love for all things quirky, Bill’s pockets often hide the most unexpected little treasures - think rubber chickens, wind-up toys, or unicorns just waiting to make someone smile.
His calendar’s packed tighter than a Thanksgiving plate, but somehow, there’s always room for one more helping of community care - because that’s The Bill Webster Way.

ONE OF A KIND, ONE FOR ALL
Bill Webster isn’t just a community leader, he’s a feel-good force of nature. He’s a reminder that being a good neighbor doesn’t require a title or a budget - just heart, hustle, humor, and maybe a rubber chicken or two.
Through his dedication, laughter, and genuine care for others, Bill has become a thread that ties the community together. Snohomish is warmer, more connected, and definitely more fun because he’s in it.
So the next time you’re wondering how to help, how to spread joy, or just how to do the right thing, pause and ask yourself: WWBWD? What Would Bill Webster Do?

Business Advice that Changed Lives
LOCAL ADVICE FROM BUSINESS MEN OF SNOHOMISH
ARTICLE BY SNOHOMISH CITY LIFESTYLE
PHOTOGRAPHY BY JAKE MILLER
Leading a business in never an easy calling, but the five men we asked to share with us all have one thing in common, they love what they do, and they love to serve the community of Snohomish and beyond. Take a moment to get to know them and who knows, you might find some worthy advice to apply to your life.
Sheldon Schuler Co-owner | Cascade Concrete Coatings, LLC
WHAT WAS THE BEST BUSINESS ADVICE YOU EVER RECEIVED?
The best piece of advice I received when starting Cascade Concrete Coatings was: Don’t take on more than you can handle. In a new and growing business, it’s easy to feel like you need to say yes to everything—more clients, bigger jobs, new marketing opportunities. But without clear boundaries, you risk missing details, compromising quality, and falling short of the level of service you want to provide.
HOW DID THAT ADVICE AFFECT THE TRAJECTORY OF YOUR BUSINESS?
Learning to recognize what my team and what I could realistically take on—and prioritizing the projects we could execute with excellence—has been one of the most important factors in building Cascade. That advice pushed me to focus on doing things right the first time, putting strong systems in place, and committing to a five-star experience for every client. Having a solid foundation has made all the difference. It’s allowed us to grow at a sustainable pace, deliver consistently high-quality results, and maintain the kind of customer relationships that fuel long-term success.

“...my best advice came from my faith and doing what I knew I was called to do, even when it did not make sense.” - Dana Swanson

WHAT WAS THE BEST BUSINESS ADVICE YOU EVER RECEIVED?
I never wanted to own my own shop, I am not comfortable with the notoriety and my biggest concern was being responsible for putting food on someone else’s table. When I was forced to make the decision to go out on my own, I approached it with much prayer, so ultimately my best advice came from my faith and doing what I knew I was called to do, even when it did not make sense.
HOW DID THAT ADVICE AFFECT THE TRAJECTORY OF YOUR BUSINESS?
Because I have followed a path that is based on what I was called to, every decision has been an act of faith that when I do what is right, our business and the families I feel responsible for, are blessed.
Darrick Philp Co-Founder | Lifetime Heating, Cooling & Electric
WHAT WAS THE BEST BUSINESS ADVICE YOU EVER RECEIVED?
Always do the right thing and the success will follow.
HOW DID THAT ADVICE AFFECT THE TRAJECTORY OF YOUR BUSINESS?
Because of this advice instead of chasing profits, we are always looking for creative ways to help our community and “the community”. Find ways to use the gifts God has given to help other people. It has never hurt us. That’s how God’s economy works!

WHAT WAS THE BEST BUSINESS ADVICE YOU EVER RECEIVED?
The best advice I ever received was, “Don’t focus on having; focus on becoming.”
HOW DID THAT ADVICE AFFECT THE TRAJECTORY OF YOUR BUSINESS?
This quote/advice has served me well because whatever I am working on, my craft, business, skills, etc. Success will ultimately follow.

Ben Richards, PGA Associate Assistant Professional | Snohomish Golf Course
WHAT WAS THE BEST BUSINESS ADVICE YOU EVER RECEIVED?
The best business advice I ever received was from my father regarding how to provide a great experience for our customers. I am a fourth-generation golf professional, and my family has been running golf courses for over 60 years, so they have seen all of the ups and downs in golf demand throughout the years. I was told the most important part of running an entertainment business is to provide the customers with an escape from their daily grind, and to make sure they are treated well and taken care of. People are paying good money to come enjoy a 4–5-hour golf experience and it is our job to make sure that experience meets and exceeds their expectations.
HOW DID THAT ADVICE AFFECT THE TRAJECTORY OF YOUR BUSINESS?
This advice has allowed our business to thrive throughout the years and even more so since Covid-19. With all our employees focused on customer service and proving the best experience possible, we have been able to continue to refine and improve the golf course. We hope to continue making the golf course a great community hangout for years to come. Thank you to all our wonderful customers and we hope to see you soon!

THE BIG IMPACT BEHIND THE DREAM BUILDERS CAR SHOW
ARTICLE BY COURTNEY EVANS | PHOTOGRAPHY BY SNOHOMISH CITY LIFESTYLE

The Dream Builders Car Show, held at the Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, isn’t just about shiny cars, roaring engines, or epic burnouts (though there’s plenty of that). This high-octane, family-friendly event is powered by something far more meaningful— it’s fueled by heart, hope, and the life-changing impact of mentorship.
At the heart of the event is founder Steve Myers, whose life was forever changed by the power of connection. When Steve was just ten years old, Big Brothers Big Sisters matched him with Rich—a steady, kindhearted man who filled the father figure role that Steve never had. Through sports, movies, camping trips, and everyday life, Rich helped guide Steve through childhood, teaching him what it meant to show up, stay consistent, and truly care. That relationship didn’t just shape Steve—it ultimately planted the seed for what would become the Dream Builders Car Show.
“The name ‘Dream Builders’ works two ways,” Steve explained. “People build their dream cars—and this event helps build dreams for local kids by funding mentorship.”
Over the last decade, the show has raised more than $670,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Snohomish County, helping to create life-changing matches between youth and caring adult mentors. Every dollar raised
Steve and Family
supports Bigs and Littles, offering kids ages 6 to 18 the guidance, confidence, and connection they need to thrive.
And this event? It’s not your average car show.
The Dream Builders Car Show features a jaw-dropping car display, racing, live music, vendors, and a beer garden—making it an actionpacked day designed for all ages. A fan favorite? The legendary Power Wheels Drag Race for kids (yes, really!). They proudly show off their mini rides and compete for trophies just like the grownups. It’s adorable, hilarious, and heartwarming— all born from Steve’s own kids wanting to be part of the fun.
“My kids didn’t exist when we started the show,” Steve laughed. “But once they were old enough to care about cars, they wanted in. So we turned their Power Wheels into part of the show. It just grew from there.”
There are so many ways to get involved—from donating items for the raffle to sponsoring, vending, or simply showing up and enjoying the day. Suggested admission is just $5, and all proceeds go directly to support mentorship programs through Big Brothers Big Sisters. Local businesses have embraced the cause too, donating gift cards, experiences, and even big-ticket items like grills and Mariners tickets to help the show grow each year.
And as for Rich—Steve’s original Big Brother? He’s still part of the Big Brothers Big sisters journey. Inspired by what the car show has become, he now serves as chairman of the board for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Snohomish County—a full-circle moment that speaks volumes.
“This event changed me as a kid, now I get to watch it change lives from the other side.”
This year, the goal is as bold as the burnout contest: raise another $100,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Snohomish County. But perhaps the most emotional moment of the day comes just before the awards ceremony.
“Right after the burnout contest, my wife Keri brings out one of those giant checks,” Steve said, his voice catching. “She doesn’t tell me ahead of time how much we raised—it’s always a surprise. I find out with the crowd, on stage. That moment gets me every year.”
“This event changed me as a kid,” Steve said. “Now I get to watch it change lives from the other side. That’s what it’s all about.”
By mixing muscle cars with meaningful moments, the Dream Builders Car Show lives up to its name. It's not just about dreaming big—it’s about building those dreams into reality, one car, one kid, one connection at a time.
Don’t Miss the 2025 Dream Builders Car Show!
When: Father’s Day — Sunday, June 15, 2025
Where: Evergreen Speedway — 14405 179th Ave SE, Monroe, WA

ANTWANE TYLER BRINGS LOCAL CHARM TO THE COUNTRY MUSIC SCENE
LIFE N LIGHT

Local singer and songwriter, Antwane Tyler, has captured the hearts of fans with his authentic storytelling and unique journey from hip hop to country. Growing up music was always a part of his life, but he didn’t discover his true passion for it until after he was adopted. “It was during some of my toughest moments that I turned to music as an outlet—a way to process everything I was going through. Writing and creating songs became my way of dealing with emotions,” says Antwane. Even though music was always a personal passion, it wasn’t until 2023 that he began sharing his work on social media, and fans quickly followed.
Despite initially pursuing a career in hip hop, his roots eventually drew him back to the music that truly resonates with his experiences and upbringing. Antwane’s transition to country music has been nothing short of remarkable. His ability to blend
the lyrical depth of hip hop with the soulful, narrative-driven style of country has set him apart in the industry. “My musical style blends modern country, folk, and a little soul, with lyrics focused on themes like resilience, heartbreak, and freedom. I love telling stories in my songs, capturing the beauty in life’s imperfections,” says Antwane.
This natural ability to tell stories and capture an audience proved evident when his breakout hit, “Homesick,” went viral, paving the way for him as an independent artist. The song’s relatable lyrics and heartfelt delivery have struck a chord with a wide audience, showcasing Antwane’s talent for capturing universal emotions through his music. “My songwriting process starts with an emotion or idea that I need to express. From there, I build lyrics that paint a picture, showing listeners rather than telling them,” says Antwane.
Antwane’s story and music have quickly gained significant attention and highlight his unique position in the country music landscape. “The most rewarding part of this journey has been connecting with fans—hearing how my songs resonate with their lives. It’s humbling and something I never take for granted,” says Antwane.
Although Antwane’s roots are in Washington, it’s clear this rising star is going places. Try to catch a show locally before he’s off on a big tour, and then we can all say “we knew him when…”.
Find Antwane’s music on Spotify, Apple Music, and any other streaming platform. Follow on Instagram (@antwanetyler) or visit his website at antwanetyler.com .

WHAT HB 1110 MEANS FOR THE FUTURE OF OUR COMMUNITIES
Rewriting the Neighborhood
ARTICLE BY CHRIS ISHII | PHOTOGRAPHY BY RSIR

Dean Jones, CEO
Realogics Sotheby's International Realty
Matthew Gardner
Tadashi
“The lack of attainable housing is not just a supply issue—it’s a zoning issue.”
- Matthew Gardner
In neighborhoods across Mercer Island, Bellevue, Kirkland, and Snohomish, a quiet but powerful shift is underway. Backyards, driveways, and empty side lots may soon take on new life, thanks to House Bill 1110 (HB 1110)—a bold new law reshaping residential zoning across Washington State.
Passed in 2023 and now taking effect, HB 1110 requires many cities to update zoning codes to allow two to six housing units on parcels previously limited to a single home. That means duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes, and cottage-style clusters could soon sit side by side with traditional houses.
The question isn’t whether change is coming. It’s: How ready are we to shape it?
A LAW BORN OF URGENCY
Washington’s housing shortage didn’t happen overnight. For years, demand has outpaced supply, pushing home prices beyond reach for many families. Zoning restrictions that limit development to one home per lot— particularly in job-rich cities like Bellevue and Kirkland— have made it difficult to accommodate growth.
“Three-quarters of Seattle’s land is still zoned single-family,” says Dean Jones, President and CEO of Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty (RSIR). “That model worked in the 20th century—but not for the realities of today. HB 1110 is potentially offering more attainable ways to live where you work.”
And this is not optional. For cities with populations over 25,000—including all four featured in this magazine—HB 1110 is a mandate.
SO, WHAT WILL IT LOOK LIKE?
Picture this:
• A homeowner builds a backyard cottage for a parent or tenant.
• A single-level home is thoughtfully redeveloped into a triplex.
• A corner lot transforms into a small cluster of homes, designed to complement the neighborhood.
This is called “missing middle housing”—a style of gentle density that fills the gap between single-family homes and large apartment buildings. And it’s exactly what HB 1110 encourages.
According to real estate economist, Matthew Gardner, “The lack of attainable housing is not just a supply issue—it’s a zoning issue. Missing middle housing helps solve both by increasing inventory without changing the character of our communities overnight.”
INNOVATION AT THE FOREFRONT
Still, navigating these changes isn’t easy. That’s where technology and expertise come in—and why RSIR has become a recognized leader in this space.
Dean Jones and his team aren’t just interpreting the law—they’re building the future . RSIR is piloting AI-powered tools that analyze zoning, land potential, and market value—helping brokers and property owners understand what’s possible.
At the center of this innovation is Tadashi Shiga , Co-Founder of Realtie , an AI platform built to streamline infill development. Realtie lets users visualize development potential, model financial returns, and identify risks—all before the first permit is filed.
“Most homeowners don’t realize they’re sitting on untapped potential,” Shiga says. “With the right insights, a single lot can become a retirement plan, an income source, or a multigenerational solution.”
He and Jones are working closely to train brokers, educate communities, and connect residents with a full-service ecosystem—from planning to permitting to resale.
WHO CAN BENEFIT?
This new framework opens doors for:
• First-time buyers priced out of traditional homes
• Multigenerational families wanting to stay close
• Empty nesters seeking to downsize or generate rental income
• Longtime residents who may want to develop or sell strategically
Gardner emphasizes, “The shift isn’t just about affordability. It’s about retaining community. These homes allow the people who serve, teach, and support our cities to live here too.”
For sellers, these changes can dramatically increase the value of their land. For buyers, they open up new paths to homeownership. For neighborhoods, they bring fresh energy—while preserving the spirit of place.
WHAT ARE THE CONCERNS?
Naturally, some residents worry about traffic, parking, and infrastructure. Others fear rapid development or disruption of neighborhood character. These are real concerns—and cities are taking them seriously with implementation timelines, design standards, and public input.
Gardner asks, “How can we encourage companies to move to the Pacific Northwest if housing prices are so high that they simply cant afford to pay employees enough for them to be able to own a home?”
WHAT YOU CAN DO NOW
• Explore your city’s plans – Each municipality is rolling out its own approach. Visit planning websites, attend open houses, and stay informed.
• Talk to a professional – From architects to lenders, planners to Realtors, the right team can help you understand your property’s true potential.
• Start the conversation – With neighbors, with family, with city leaders. This is a shared journey, and your voice matters.
FINAL THOUGHTS
This isn’t about density for density’s sake. It’s about building a future where our children can afford to live nearby. Where aging parents can move into a backyard cottage. Where creative solutions meet real needs.
As Gardner puts it: “The neighborhoods we build today will shape the lives of the next generation.”
House Bill 1110 invites us to rethink the boundaries— of our lots, our zoning, and our assumptions.
It’s about rewriting the neighborhood, yes.
But more than that—it’s about reimagining what community can be.

Cilantro Chimichurri
THE MISSING SAUCE FOR YOUR GRILLING SEASON

Grilling season wouldn’t be complete without a solid collection of scratch-made sauces in your arsenal. Sure, you have your go-to barbecue sauce, maybe even a mustardy Carolina variety, but when was the last time you spooned a zippy drizzle of garlic, herbs, chilis, and the exactly correct amount of red wine vinegar over a perfectly charred ribeye?
This Cilantro Chimichurri brings a punch of complex, fresh flavor to contrast the savory notes of your summer grilling. Use it as a marinade or finishing sauce (or both!) on chicken thighs, ribs, and veggies of all sorts. You really can’t go wrong.

1
CILANTRO CHIMICHURRI SAUCE
Yields: 1 cup of sauce | Prep Time: 15 minutes
ingredients:
• ½ cup avocado oil or olive oil
• 3 Tablespoons red wine vinegar
• 1 teaspoon fresh grated garlic
• ½ teaspoon Kosher salt
• ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
• ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
• ½ teaspoon coriander
equipment:
• Cutting board
• Chef’s knife

2 3
• ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
• ¼ teaspoon cumin
• ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
• ½ cup finely chopped fresh cilantro
• ¼ cup finely chopped fresh Italian parsley
• Medium mixing bowl
• Whisk
• Measuring cups and spoons
• Jar or container for storage
directions:
Step 1. In a medium bowl, use a whisk to combine the oil, vinegar, grated garlic, and dry herbs and spices.
Step 2. Fold in the finely chopped herbs.
Step 3. For optimal flavor, cover and let sit at room temperature for an hour to allow the flavors to marinate.
Step 4. Spoon over your grilled meats and veggies and enjoy!
notes:
• In place of the mixing bowl and whisk, use a 12-oz. jar with a lid and shake all ingredients vigorously for less dishes and a quick storage method.
• You can also make this sauce with a large mortar and pestle or in a food processor if you prefer.
• This chimichurri sauce will last in the fridge for about four days. Bring back to room temperature before using as the oil will solidify in the fridge.
• If cilantro isn’t your favorite of the herbs, swap it out with Italian parsley, chives, or whichever herbs you prefer. Part of the fun is playing with ingredients to see what delights you.

SO YOU WANT TO BE A COWBOY
DISCOVER THE WHIMSY OF THE WEST AT PAWS UP MONTANA
Favorably referred to as the “Last Best Place” and the “Treasure State,” Montana has captured the hearts of cinematic cowboys like Taylor Sheridan and Harrison Ford and inspired the television series, “Yellowstone” and its prequels, “1883” and “1923.” Though fictional, they’ve reminded America of its deeply-rooted spirit for adventure and the simple yet rugged way of life that we all crave. Whether its the backdrop of jagged, snowcapped peaks or the endless golden pastures that are peppered with livestock, this Rocky Mountain soil is a breeding ground for dreamers and doers, and the people who call it home are no strangers to the ritual of ranch life.

So, you want to be a cowboy? Slipping on some leather and having a little hide in your hat are good ways to start, but visiting a resort that brings the best of this life to the forefront, while also embracing modern luxury, is the experience of a lifetime.
Paws Up Montana sprawls the distance of 37,000 private acres of historic estateland, which houses a working ranch and 10 miles of Blackfoot river. Personalization is key—a divine selection of cuisine for the foodies, awe-inspiring activities for the adrenaline seekers, and world-class lodging that tickles every fancy from stargazing glamping, to timber-style family dwellings, to the uniquely designed green “o hauses” that invite the outside world in.

WHERE TO STAY

WHAT TO DO
To change your attitude, you need a change in altitude. Gain some speed or turn up the adrenaline level with ATV tours, electric biking, mountain biking, go-karts, paintball, rappelling down Lookout Rock or whitewater rafting down the Blackfoot River. Indulge in the western art of living with archery, fly-fishing, hiking or sporting clays. For those who want to immerse themselves in the language of horses, there are horse-related adventures such as lessons, grooming or feeding, horse-whispering workshops or organized trails rides. Riders can also enjoy cattle drives that bring you back to yesteryear—driving a herd of cattle across the famed landscape—and bear witness to mustang gentling, where the Equestrian Manager communicates with a wild horse through body language and tone of voice. Skyline Aerial Adventure Park is another notable warm-weather activity, taking guests on two high-ropes courses.

Luxury Homes are categorized into preference-based properties that boast the thrill of wilderness living. For larger families and multigenerational groups, consider the Wilderness Estates. At 3,250-square-feet, these estates sleep up to eight guests and feature three large suites with private baths. The Big Timber Homes are available in one-to-three bedroom options and come ornamented with fire places and private decks. The Meadow Homes are 1,100-square-foot single-story homes that sleep up to four guests, situated amid a pastoral and treed setting. For an extra nod of perfection, choose one of the luxury homes that comes equipped with a private tent—ideal for anyone traveling with children (or adults who beckon back their childhood!).
For a more primitive experience, Glamping Homes offer the right amount of canvas to create a close-to-nature experience. Available mid-May through mid-October, choose from river settings to creeksides, bluffs or cliffs. Each tent is adorned with something unique—a copper tub, a picturesque view of Lewis and Clark’s famous Lookout Rock and Western-chic furniture throughout. Zip down the windows to allow for the cool nightly breeze, yet enjoy the modern convenience of electricity. Each campsite has a dining pavilion. And don’t miss the s’mores boards around the communal fire pit, offered by your own s’moresologist—yes, you read that right, and yea, it’s a thing.
Lastly, but certainly not least, are the state-of-theart accommodations of the Green O hauses. This portion of the property is completely curated for those 21 years of age and older. It’s a resort within a resort, a hidden pearl in an oyster of experience. The Tree Haus is elevated 23 feet in the air and offers unparalleled forest views. The Green Haus includes a skylight above the bed for an unmatched view of pluck-em-from-thesky stars. The Round Haus has curved, floor-to-ceiling windows that offer 180-degree panoramic views. Both the Green and Round Hauses are dog friendly, too, so Fido can rest in the lap of luxury. The Light Haus is illuminated by skylights and unique glass design.
DRINK & DINE
Montana’s best kept secret? Our hideaway chefs, making waves from the Montana wilderness. Chef Brandon Cunningham, Executive Chef at the Green O, is a James Beard Award finalist whose creations at the Social Haus are highly curated through an 8-course tasting menu. Other highly trained and talented chefs like Chef Brett Edlund, Chef Ben Scott, Executive Pastry Chef Krystle Swenson, and Sunny Jin, the General Manager of Food and Beverage, are part of the intricate patchwork of the culinary experience at Pomp, Trough, Shed, Camp and the notable Chuck Wagon—a summertime treat where guests can ride a hay wagon along the banks of the Blackfoot River for an Old West-inspired chuck wagon dinner. The menu ranges from all-natural chicken and Tomahawk ribeye to fresh vegetables grilled over an open flame campfire.
