Fall 2025 clothing fashion is predicted to blend comfort with bold statements, featuring a mix of textures, patterns and silhouettes. We may even see knits and denim continue, along with returning favorites, such as animal prints and bohemian styles.
Plush and cozy fabrics plus textures, such as bouclé, faux fur, shearling and plush velvets may be popular. We look forward to more buttery leathers for outerwear. It looks like cardigans and sweaters will feature unique details this year.
Regardless of personal fashion styles, it's a fun season to try layering in new ways. Overall, fall fashion is a great time for balancing both comfort and style. Truth be told, I feel my best in a comfy pair of jeans and boots. Snazz it up with a statement piece, like a studded or braided leather belt with a vintage buckle. Complement with a bomber jacket or even a trench coat. Rumor has it cropped trench coats will be 'in' this fall!
Thinking of sparkle, have you had a chance to visit the Michael's Jewelers team at their new Yardley store within Prickett Preserve at Wegman’s shopping center? They're enjoying their new space and are ready to assist with any jewelry selection or repairs you may need for the changing season.
Whatever category of style you're interested in, here's to being yourself!

A growing understanding of the interconnectedness of physical and mental health has led to a greater emphasis on overall, comprehensive wellness. More people are prioritizing preventive health measures by seeking ways to manage stress, to truly relax and to establish balance in their lives amidst a technologically driven world. The professional team of providers, staff and managers at The Well Lounge in Newtown assist clients every day with customized approaches to reaching what could be called their personal health-styles, including concierge medicine programs.
Why is wellness so 'in style' for 2025, and especially during this time of year?
"Wellness in 2025 isn’t about fitting into a mold; it’s about breaking free from one. More than ever, people are embracing the idea that taking care of oneself, whether that means getting Botox or not, choosing a recovery day over another run, or walking with friends instead of going out for drinks, is a personal, empowered decision. There’s no one way to be 'well,' and that’s the beauty of it.
“The Ammortal Chamber is my go-to reset. Every time I use it, my mind gets quiet, my body feels lighter and I leave with peace. It’s like therapy for my whole being.”
True beauty starts with how one feels, not just how one looks. At The Well Lounge, we’re here to support people's version of feeling their best: whether that includes balancing hormones through HRT, exploring subtle facial sculpting, spending time in the Ammortal Chamber or simply giving their skin and body space to rest and recharge.
This time of year is the perfect opportunity to pause and ask: How can I feel more like me again? We’re here to walk that journey with others so they can feel empowered, confident and completely seen."
When's the best time to get a facial?
"The best time? When you need a moment to pause, breathe and take care of you. Sure, there are practical reasons, such as after too much sun exposure, before a big event, or as the seasons shift, but your skin often knows before you do. When a face is feeling dull, dry, congested or just not like itself, it’s asking for attention.
Our facials are more than skin care. They’re a chance to reset your nervous system, reconnect with yourself, and leave feeling radiant inside and out. We offer advanced treatments like the DiamondGlow facial, which exfoliates, extracts and infuses professional-grade serums for an immediate glow with zero downtime. And now, we’re thrilled to offer the JetPeel facial as a cutting-edge, noninvasive facial that delivers lymphatic drainage, oxygen infusion and deep hydration using a jet stream of air and microdroplets. It’s unlike anything else in the area, and truly next-level for transforming tired, thirsty skin.
Whether someone's looking for a little glow or a big reset, we have a facial that meets them right where they are."
How does The Well Lounge professional team help clients achieve personalized approaches to health and fitness?
"At The Well Lounge, we know that true health and fitness are about more than just exercise, requiring a holistic, personalized approach that supports body, mind and skin at every level.
Our expert team creates customized fitness and recovery plans centered around the innovative therapies in our Longevity Lounge. This includes targeted cryotherapy to reduce inflammation and speed muscle recovery and the Ammortal Chamber to recharge cells, calm nervous systems and optimize healing. Complementing these are our soothing massage chairs for tension relief and circulation, plus tailored IV therapy to replenish vital nutrients, boost energy and support immune health, which fuels bodies inside and out.
For deeper, root-level wellness, we partner with Your.Life Functional Medicine, located inside the Well Lounge, to offer personalized health programs addressing hormone balance, gut health, metabolism and more factors. This helps to unlock lasting vitality through advanced testing and expert coaching.
When it comes to skin, we provide a truly customized approach using VISIA skin analysis technology. As a SkinCeuticals Flagship location, we design data-driven skin care regimens combining medical-grade products with advanced in-house treatments like microneedling, BBL, Moxi or Halo Laser therapies, ensuring skin looks and feels its healthiest.
Together, these services form a comprehensive, personalized roadmap for one's best health, again inside and out. Our team is dedicated to supporting unique health and fitness goals with expert care, cutting-edge technology and genuine connection every step of the way."
In what ways does staying fit correspond to happier, healthier lifestyles?
"Staying fit isn't just about movement; it’s about momentum. Physical fitness lifts one's mood, sharpens our focus and supports longevity. We help others stay in motion in ways that feel empowering, not overwhelming. Tools like Emsculpt NEO offer a high-tech, non-invasive way to build muscle and reduce fat, while cryotherapy speeds recovery and reduces inflammation. Feeling off track? Our functional medicine team can explore metabolic health, while HRT helps restore balance as hormones shift. Fitness is about more than how a body looks; it’s about how it supports the life one loves living."
As an innovative medspa, how do The Well Lounge offerings support and improve clients' mental health and overall well-being?
"We believe that true wellness isn’t just about how you look; it’s about how you feel. That’s why our approach goes far beyond aesthetics, supporting both a person's emotional and physical well-being through carefully curated, science-backed treatments.
One of our most powerful tools is the Ammortal Chamber, a groundbreaking first-of-its-kind experience with the most advanced technology. This 15-minute session combines red light therapy, guided breathwork, vibration, sound therapy and PEMF therapy to
reset nervous systems, calm mental chatter, reduce anxiety, and leave everyone with a profound sense of clarity and grounding.
In addition to the Chamber, our IV therapy supports mood and cognitive function by replenishing essential nutrients, while treatments like microneedling and Botox help clients feel confident in their skin, boosting self-esteem and emotional wellness.
And perhaps most revolutionary of all, our very own, board-certified Meg Zakarewicz, D.O., launched Your.Life Functional Medicine at the Newtown Athletic Club inside of The Well Lounge. Partnering health care with the the third largest health club in the country is an innovative move that brings root-cause medical care, hormonal balance and personalized wellness coaching into a space where people are already moving their bodies and investing in their health.
Our goal is to treat the whole person — with care, connection and cutting-edge tools that help clients feel grounded, energized and fully themselves."
The Well Lounge is led by co-founders Tracy Nucera, director of aesthetics, and Kate Golden, executive director.

Brian and MaryAnne Applegate, co-owners of Applegate Wood Floors (AWF), have been go-to local experts on 'all things hardwood' for nearly 40 years. This fall, they're helping clients find the next floors of their dreams.
“Clients are increasingly asking for simple, clean visuals with subtle character,” says MaryAnne. “There’s an overall movement to more natural, warmer undertones, a light, airier wood tone, soft blondes and washed neutrals.”
The classic tree families, such as wide and long white or red oak, will continue in popularity, MaryAnne predicts, with renewed interest in maple and ash varieties. She also expects the fall to be a season of textures, such as lightly wire-brushed wood with a resurgence of herringbone patterns.
“These are textures you notice with your feet,” MaryAnne says. “This tactile appeal aligns with sensory wellness and the desire to feel more ‘grounded’ at home.”
Brian and MaryAnne have tracked trends since opening AWF in 1988. They’ve been members of the local community for even longer, both graduating from Pennsbury High School after growing up in Yardley. Additionally, their son, Brian David, and daughter, Georgia, also work in the family-operated business. These community ties led them to sponsor more than a dozen local organizations and events, including the Brain
Injury Association of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, The Jimmy V Foundation, 5K and 10K runs at Washington Crossing State Park, and youth and family services in Kensington.
AWF team members pride themselves on being able to find the right fit for any project, with plenty of clients returning to them decades, or second-generation, later for more floor work. They complete installations in residential, commercial and institutional facilities, with a full-service, special focus on serving the homes of Pennsylvania and New Jersey residents.
“We at Applegate Wood Floors have only two real passions: wood floors and our clients,” Brian says. “We offer a vast array of wood species in a wide range of widths, finishes and grades to suit any taste and lifestyle.”

Opposite Left Bottom: "Wood-inspired luxury vinyl plank is becoming the go-to option for high traffic and active households," notes Brian.
In addition to installing new products, Applegate professionals also specialize in “revealing the hidden beauty” of hardwood through restoration.
“We've restored and refinished thousands of existing hardwood floors, the oldest being a 200-year-old chestnut floor,” MaryAnne says. “The value of hardwood stems from its natural authenticity, and if properly maintained, it can last for hundreds of years.”
“Hardwood flooring continues to be the top choice for homeowners as the ultimate complement to personal design and style, and is the flooring of choice because of its natural beauty, enduring quality, warmth and inherent durability,” Brian adds. “This is an investment in your home that lasts for years and offers timeless style.”
MaryAnne, whose background in the art world gives her a leg up in the creative side of the business, knows that while tastes change, certain qualities will always satisfy customers.
“Certain design principles, like our connection to nature, never go out of style,” MaryAnne says. “More homeowners, especially wellness-conscious clients, are looking for spaces that feel alive, from the light filtering through the windows to the organic textures beneath their feet. That’s when artisan-crafted wood flooring is more than a surface — it becomes an experience that you enjoy everyday.”

Culinary Artist Dan Macey Shares Tips About Presenting Food For The Senses
One would never know it by viewing Dan Macey's talented work, but food styling wasn't his first career choice. Although he says he always enjoyed cooking and food design from a young age, he actually started as a journalist covering energy issues in Washington, DC. He eventually tired of that work and after moving to New Hope, contacted cookbook author and fellow resident Pam Anderson, the editor of Cook’s Illustrated magazine.
"She kindly connected me to freelancing assignments for restaurant industry publications," he says.

Dan says one day Pam asked if he could bake a turkey and drop it off to an upcoming book signing in Doylestown. "This assignment posed a challenge as my home at the time had a very small oven and I literally had to tape the oven shut to cook the turkey. But she was so impressed that she called me the next day to ask me to be her assistant at the magazine. I jumped at the chance and was able to jump-start a new career."
Pam then had an opportunity to sell her book on QVC and asked Dan to help prepare food and style props for the segment. Her publisher noticed and asked Dan to

food style for other cookbook authors, which led to connections with publishers, celebrities and food companies working on TV segments, commercials, personal appearances, cookbooks, packaging and advertising. This all enabled Dan to hone his food presentation skills, focusing on the importance of visual appeal.
“The desire to know what something tastes like is a universal trait for all humans and making that bite visually appealing is the first step in making you want to eat it,” he notes.
He says he also pays attention to taste memory to create food that spurs a past connection.
• Think of the plate as an artist's palette; use a variety of colors.
• Don't overcrowd the plate; negative space is positive space.
• Serve food on vessels made from natural materials with texture, such as ceramic.
• Don't over-sauce food so you can't see the ingredients.
• Use condiments to create interesting dressings, sauces and add-ins to dress up plain food.
• Make your family feel special by occasionally pulling out your 'good' dishes.
• Celebrate smaller life events with themed meals or table settings.
• Present meat cut into slices on the bias and fan out on a plate versus serving as a big piece.
• Enhance the appearance of food with garnishes of herbs, fruit slices or a drizzle of sauce.

IN this unexpected love affair, fashion and interiors are more than just a simple pairing—they are rooted in culture, creativity, and the human desire for self-expression.
As conscious consumers of the 21st century, participating in a retail landscape that is oversaturated and struggling to adapt to the ever-changing demands of the modern customer, our purchasing power should not only respond to a feeling of want but also prioritize items that reflect who we are and who we aspire to be. This is clearly visible through the representation of fashion and interiors.
ARTICLE BY TYLER AMADEUS | PHOTOGRAPHY BY ADRIEN KING AND ALEC WALWORTH
Although we tend to consider cost-per-wear primarily when it comes to clothing, this same principle applies to furniture and the function it brings to the home. Aesthetics and functionality both play a role in this pairing, painting a picture for the rest of the world of who the wearer is and how they live in their space.
The woman who wears a blazer with sharp shoulders that makes her feel powerful in her everyday life—or the black dress that gives her a necessary boost of confidence—may naturally gravitate toward sleek, modern furniture that feels equally strong and elevates the space where the modern woman thrives.
In the same way, someone who prefers an effortless ensemble—like their favorite white T-shirt and comfortable denim jeans—may also look for home pieces that are functional and make their guests
feel at ease. Even a handmade rug, one that sparks conversation about where it was found and adds a focal point to a room, mirrors how we search our closets for a sweater tied to a cherished memory.
Just as we carefully choose outfits to express ourselves, it’s equally important to ensure that our living spaces are designed with the same intention. More than ever, modern buyers are making purchasing decisions based on personal morals and values, forming a new wave of consumers who seek products that are both high-quality and environmentally or socially conscious, whether for themselves or their homes.
The following imagery affirms that living a timeless lifestyle across all aspects of life is possible through the thoughtful styling of sustainable clothing and vintage furniture. As the modern retail landscape continues to evolve, it’s become increasingly vital to make conscious consumer choices—ones that allow us to express our truest selves through both our wardrobes and the places we call home.
