Hello friends,
I don’t know about you, but I love any opportunity to recognize the women in my life who just make it more rich and beautiful. Our wives, mothers and daughters are the most influential women in our lives. My mom, Pat Dodge, is my favorite human and main influencer.
Naples is blessed with a dense population of smart, talented and kind women. I meet a new extraordinary woman every day. It is the main reason I say that Naples is one of a kind and I'm never leaving.
In our feature story, we follow 40 ladies who are "influencing" Naples right now. These are all women who are changing our opinions about health and wellness, real estate, retail and social media.
My picture this month features Angela Campbell, owner of Liquivida Med Spa. Angela and her team have been helping me with my New Year's resolution of losing weight and gaining energy. I'm so thankful for their care. I highly recommend anyone trying to achieve similar goals, to find a support system like Angela and her team at Liquivida Med Spa Naples.
While it’s always important to shop local and support our area businesses, this month is the perfect time to patronize businesses owned by women in our communities. That’s one of my favorite parts of this role - connecting with and championing the best of the best when it comes to Naples women.
On March 15, Christina Lerardi of Sip, Shop Socialize and Naples City Lifestyle, helped our local and small businesses at the Shops at Dockside throw a happy hour event to bring people to this charming area of Naples.
The beautiful ladies on this month's cover, are six women who greatly influence my life with their style, kindness and talent. This is also true of our photographer and friend, Samantha Bloom of Oh Snap Media and 5th Avenue South. Many thanks to these beautiful ladies for making time in their busy schedules to meet for photos at one of our city's crown jewels, the Ritz-Carlton, Naples Golf Resort.
Meet Erin Papperella of Rouze Boutique, Franchesca Nero of Molto Restaurant, my personal trainer Sara Cassanova, Zaneta Trapp of ZiZi Brand, Ashley Olsen of The Agency Naples and Kate Sofranco of Feel at HOM a new home goods store in downtown Naples.
Thank you, Naples.

Social media allows my clients both near and far to connect with me so that I can show them everything that makes Naples such a great place to live.

For years I have been someone that has struggled with insecurity. Three years ago when I started Lost in Fashion, my husband pushed me to launch a blog. It takes a lot to put yourself out there. Since I started posting, it has really helped my confidence. A big thing for me with social media is not using filters. I always want to be authentic. It’s also been really fun because I have been able to include my kids in my social media. They even have their own IG account @KidsInFashionllc.

When you put an emphasis on reaching your business goals through extensive branding, social media can support your efforts while also expanding your network. Social media was once mostly just for fun, but not anymore. Now social media allows me to do at least four important things: discover new ideas and trends; connect with existing and new audiences in deeper ways; bring attention and traffic to my work; and build, craft, and enhance my brand. However, social media changes all the time, so it’s important for me to keep up with the evolution of the platforms and to keep looking for ways to optimize my use of the available tools.

Elizabeth Cinquini Interiors
Elizabeth Cinquini Interiors is bringing a different vibe to Naples interior design. This boutique design firm doesn’t do the typical blue and white coastal interiors. Elizabeth’s process infuses several different styles. Her personalized one-onone design experience saves her clients time and stress, while she brings the vision to life.
We asked her about a favorite project and she shared this gorgeous bedroom.
Elizabeth: This bedroom design is inspired by the fun, vibrant, tropical surroundings of our beautiful Naples. Mixing the perfect amount of color, pattern and texture is truly our passion and specialty for creating dreamy environments here at Elizabeth Cinquini Interiors. An important part of my design aesthetic is mixing several different design styles to create my own version of timeless luxury. When you walk into this room, you instantly feel happy, creative, inspired and transported to paradise.
This statement king-size bed is more interesting than most with its mix of beautiful blue velvet fabric, walnut wood frame, antique brass nailheads and rounded corners. It checks all the boxes for us on texture, and it’s just so darn cool. I gave it a retro vibe by pairing it with gorgeous pineapple wallpaper, sourced from a company in London for superior quality. I love the playfulness the wallpaper adds. The size and scale of the pineapples are key and the crisp white background makes it feel clean and modern.
The nightstands are not only functional with ample drawer storage but also the simple square shape and sleek white lacquer frame add a modern touch, while the textured wood drawers give a contemporary feel and dimension. Mixing metals is also a signature element in all of my designs. Here the nightstands are trimmed in black metal, while the lamp is brass.
The velvet bedding is the perfect shade of copper and has a subtle ribbed detail to add interest. The art piece above the bed is by a local artist, from the Naples Art Show. The scene and coloring of this dynamic artwork perfectly tie in all the colors of the bedroom, giving it a vintage vibe. Artwork is a crucial detail to finishing a space because it has to bring the entire room to life and connect the vision. Here I kept the artwork on the smaller side, in order to accent the wallpaper and not compete with it.

My social media career started 3 years ago. I love posting fun and relatable content for all viewers. This led me to start my own sunglasses company, Recline. Recline was created to help boost your self-confidence, feel your best and know your boundaries. My goal is to create fashion-forward, good quality products at affordable prices. I've worked on building this brand for over a year, and it means so much to be able to share it. I hope you love it just as much as I do. Stay tuned for monthly drops of exciting new sunnies, apparel and more.

Our story began 15 years ago, when my family moved to Naples. Our great success came with the opening of Molto Trattoria, where we serve fresh, intimate, and truly authentic Italian cuisine. We then opened La Pescheria, because there is no better place to hear a story than around a dinner table. Each meal features multi-courses highlighting the story of specific fish, fishermen, chefs, or hot topics in ocean conservation. Our dishes allowed us to earn the trust of a loyal clientele and to open Casa Neri, a gourmet restaurant that enhances the Italian tradition. I use

My social media account was initially created 8 years ago to promote awareness of my business. It evolved into more of an opportunity to maintain a deeper connection with my customers by being able to share different aspects of my life as a woman and local business owner. I believe a brand can become more successful by not only showing the style and products offered, but also the lifestyle and personal experiences that inspire them as well.

I primarily use my business Instagram to showcase my brand's products. So many customers have come into my store saying they found us on IG! I get the most engagement by posting stories about new products or events. It’s really grown my business to where it is today.

WOMEN’S HEALTH NEWS FROM OUR INFLUENCERS
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE EVER-RISING NUMBERS OF OZEMPIC FACE
By Jennifer Couture
For many, Ozempic or Semiglutide for weight loss is magic. The downside? For some, it is what is being referred to as “Ozempic face.”
Any weight loss can lead to the loss and destruction of facial fat. The dermis and epidermis is no longer supported and held tight by the fat, so the skin can appear to deflate, much like letting air out of a balloon. Volume and fat loss may lead to a more significant decline in collagen, which can show up as droopy, crepey, delicately lined skin, highlighting the signs of aging.
The good news is there are many ways that you can address this, including dermal fillers or collagen stimulators. My favorite method for restoring the volume lost in the face is using your own body fat, by doing fat transfer (always by a board-certified plastic surgeon).
If there is severe skin laxity, the best option for someone may be a facelift and a neck lift to remove the loose skin, along with muscle and
band tightening, finished off with a little fat transfer. Keep in mind the face, neck, and eyes age together, so look in the mirror. Do your eyes look tired? Don't forget to look at the balance of all features. Sometimes you must address all areas simultaneously to create a more natural-looking appearance.
But, if you aren’t quite ready for surgery or don't have the budget or downtime, there are many non-surgical options you can utilize to try to rejuvenate the skin and face. Consult with a professional about the medical-grade devices available. We have to remember to preserve what we have. Prevention is key. Make sure you are using medical-grade skincare. I always recommend you start your "better face journey" with a high-factor sunscreen. Keeping your bathroom stocked with topical antioxidants , such as vitamins A, B & C, is essential . You can reverse the signs of aging, even correct sun damage, and remove unsightly dark spots easily. Doing a medical grade, deep chemical peel twice a year is always a good idea. Retin-A is your friend. It comes in many different formulations and can truly make a huge difference for all skin types. It’s even an amazing treatment for dry and crepey skin. I encourage patients to start cocktailing it together with an unscented body lotion on areas of the body like above the knee, on the chest, and even the arms. Garramone.com

SMART AND HEALTHY AT ANY AGE
By Dr. Deborah Houk
At every age and every stage, there are biological and gender-related differences that have significant impacts on women’s health, making it critical for women to be informed and take their health and wellness seriously. Here is an agebased review of health maintenance recommendations for women to empower them to attain optimal health.
10
As soon as women reach reproductive age, on average between the ages of 15 – 44 years old, cervical cancer and sexually transmitted infection screening including HIV testing should begin. If not started prior, the 20s are when cervical cancer screening begins, which includes a Pap smear every 3 years until 30, then Pap and HPV testing every 5 years after that until 65.
20
Starting in your 20s, or earlier if deemed high cardiac risk, women should start having their cholesterol checked at least once every 5 years and more often based on results and risk factors.
30
For all women, regardless of age, routine blood pressure measurements are done yearly to screen for high blood pressure. Women should also begin getting diabetes risk assessments, thyroid testing, and other routine lab screenings done, although formal recommendations for when to start these tests vary.
40
Women aged 40 and older are recommended to have mammograms and physician breast examinations every year.
45
Everyone is recommended to have colon cancer screening starting at 45, however, experts also recommend starting as early as 10 years prior to the age of first detection of colon cancer in a close family member, or 40 if you have any family history of colon cancer. Screening is done with a colonoscopy (every 10 years), high-sensitivity fecal occult blood testing (yearly), and/or flexible sigmoidoscopy (every 5 years, with FOBT’s every 3 years), and varies depending on results.
50
Although not yet an established recommendation, at 50 women should talk to their doctors about checking their Calcium Score, as this CT test is very helpful in assessing cardiac risk. Heart disease remains the number 1 killer of women.
55
55 is the start of lung cancer screening. A lowdose CT of the lungs is recommended for women aged 55 to 74 who have a history of smoking that increases their risk for lung cancer. Man or woman, if you smoke at any age, please stop, as any amount of smoking is harmful and leads to cancer, heart disease, and death.
65
At age 65 or starting at menopause depending on risk factors, women begin screening for osteoporosis through bone-density testing (DXA Scan). Osteoporosis is one disease women are at higher risk of developing than men due to hormonal changes that affect bone density. DebHoukMD.com

Paul Fleming Restaurants, led by nationally acclaimed restaurateur Paul Fleming and his wife Jody Goodenough-Fleming, are proud to announce the opening of their new restaurant concept, PJK Neighborhood Chinese, in downtown Naples.
PJK Neighborhood Chinese specializes in scratch-made coastal Chinese cuisine. Specialty dishes showcase a mix of traditional and modern Asian flavors, with all dishes and sauces being prepared daily using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
“Our chef partner Kayla Pfeiffer is passionate about the culinary arts. It is envisioned that PJK will provide a vibrant take-out business, with a separate entrance and dedicated parking in the rear for those on the way home from work or the beach.
