MYERS’ FRONT PORCH LUNCH Created by veteran restauranteur Kori Langford and her family, Myers’ Front Porch’s mission is to serve up healthy, delicious food in a relaxing, friendly atmosphere. Every day, Kori and her team serve a diverse array of menu items featuring nitrate-free vegetables, locally sourced, healthy ingredients and an assortment of indulgent treats. “The home feel is quintessential to who we are,” says owner Kori Langford. “We believe that the world would be a lot better place if we all sat on our front porches and got to know our neighbors.” Although Myers’ is open from breakfast through dinner, it is a particularly popular spot for groups to meet for lunch. “We purposely created a pleasing décor with comfortable patio furniture to help make it feel like home,” adds Kori. “We specifically don’t have televisions – we want people to connect and get to know each other.” Popular lunch items include an assortment of snack appetizers, fresh salads and grilled panini sandwiches. Featured entrees include oven roasted turkey, sliced BBQ brisket and brisket nachos, each of which comes with a choice of two fresh side items. Myers’ also offers a special kids’ menu featuring a variety of tasty treats sure to make the little ones happy. SAFARI’S BRICK OVEN & GRILLE DINNER One of Hendersonville’s most popular restaurants is Safari’s Brick Oven & Grill, located on East Main Street. Safari’s was originally opened near Rivergate Mall and was very popular in the 1990s and early 2000s. Furnished in a jungle and wild animal theme, the restaurant was famous for its expansive food and drink menu. After the original location closed, general manager Ross El-Bobou resurrected the concept when he opened the Hendersonville Safari’s in December 2017. Although the location has changed, Safari’s fun atmosphere remains true to its roots. “After we closed the original Safari’s, I realized that the restaurant business was in my blood, and I decided to open at a new location in Hendersonville,” says Ross. “I love serving my customers the finest in food and drinks, while entertaining them in fun surroundings.” Safari’s is famous for its food and drink menu that includes a wide array of burgers, salads, seafood, fajitas, chicken dishes and brick oven-cooked pizzas and calzones. In addition, the restaurant offers some of the most sumptuous steaks around, including porterhouse, ribeye, sirloin and prime rib cuts. Safari’s also offers one of the most popular Sunday brunch options in the area. The brunch menu includes many brick oven-cooked and grilled items, including bacon, steaks, biscuits, omelets, waffles and quiche. So, the next time you hear the sounds of far-off drums and the call of the wild, you will know that it is time to take a trek to Safari’s Brick Oven & Grill. 230 East Main St., Hendersonville (615) 991-3958 Safarisbrickovengrill.com

SANDERS FERRY PIZZA & PUB PIZZA Every town needs a great pizzeria, and one of the finest around the area is Sanders Ferry Pizza & Pub. Conveniently located on Old Hickory Lake, Sanders Ferry Pizza & Pub is the go-to place for locals looking to satisfy their pizza craving. “At Sanders Ferry Pizza & Pub, we strive to provide our customers with outstanding food and customer service that only a locally-owned establishment can provide,” says owner Eddie Anderson. “We have a great staff that is dedicated to ensuring that every customer has an enjoyable dining experience with us.” Although Sanders Ferry has an expansive menu, pizza remains the biggest draw. “By far, our best-selling entrees are pizzas, ranging from specialty artisan items, such as Nashville hot chicken, to our popular ‘build your own’ pies,” says Eddie. “The high quality of our ingredients and our careful baking processes enable us to produce the best pizzas around.” Sanders Ferry also offers many other tasty treats, including chicken wings and tenders, sandwiches and pitas, salads and tater tot-nacho combinations called totchos. H’VILLE GRILL SPORTS BAR With football back in full swing, there is no better place to catch all your favorite teams in action than at your favorite sports bar. For many Hendersonville sports fans, that means a trip to the H’Ville Grill. “At the H’Ville Grill, we offer great food, specialty drinks and a wide selection of locally-brewed craft beer – all in a comfortable sports bar environment,” says owner Adam Hill. “Along with our diverse menu, our friendly staff go out of their way to make sure that every guest has a great experience here.” While H’Ville Grill has much of the standard appetizer and sandwich fare found in most sports bars, it also offers a wide array of Hendersonville-themed items which are unique to the restaurant. Menu items such as Conway’s fried pickles, the Roy Orbison sandwich and the Man in Blackened salmon entrée are all named after famous entertainers who called the City by the Lake home. Similarly, the restaurant décor includes dozens of wall hangings that reflect the heritage of Hendersonville. From jerseys to concert posters, the H’Ville Grill is proud of its Hendersonville roots, and so are its customers. For those who may not be sports-minded, the H’Ville Grill is still a great place to go for fun time. “As a combination pub, bar and restaurant, we provide more than just food and drinks; we also provide a healthy dose of fun,” says Adam. “Our comfortable decor is perfectly-suited for great nights of entertainment with family and friends. We want our guests to come for the food, but stay for the service.” 1050 Glenbrook Way, Suite 320, Hendersonville, TN 37075 615.826.0867 24

S E A S A LT UPSCALE In April 2021, Hendersonville gained a new upscale dining option with the arrival of Sea Salt, a Frenchinfluenced seafood restaurant. Featuring a comfortable décor built around Himalayan salt blocks, the restaurant offers an outstanding complement of chef-prepared entrees, fine wines, unique cocktails and a large selection of craft beers. Sea Salt also boasts a stylish piano bar, along with a fresh oyster bar. Sea Salt was originally based in Nashville’s famed Printer’s Alley, but closed in 2020 due to the economic fallout from the Covid-19 pandemic. Soon after the closing, co-owners Keith Zust, Mike Haggerty and Chris Funk jumped at the opportunity to resurrect their restaurant, this time in Hendersonville. “Even when we were open in Printer’s Alley, most of our clientele was from the Hendersonville area,” says Keith. “After we closed, they told us how much they wanted to have fresh seafood with an upscale experience without having to drive to Nashville.” Sea Salt’s expansive menu includes a wide variety of signature dishes, including broiled oysters, scallops, Norwegian salmon, grilled swordfish and fresh catches of the day. The restaurant also offers a classic Sea Salt burger, strip loin and a large assortment of custom salads. All items are prepared under the watchful eye of head chef Mike Haggerty. The next time that you are in the mood for fine seafood dining or just to enjoy a special night out, be sure to check out Sea Salt. 209 Indian Lake Blvd., Suite 100, Hendersonville 615.891.2221 SeaSaltNashville.com
