July is a month of fighting the heat while trying to squeeze in as many summer

activities as our calendar can fit. Instead of stressing and potentially longing for colder days, we must try to enjoy all that Eden Prairie and our neighboring communities have to offer. We have hidden gems of shaded hiking trails, relaxing restaurant patio seating, and scenic bike trails. There are places to rent a paddle board, sip an ice-cold local brew, or enjoy fresh bruschetta. These summer must-visit spots can be found in the following pages. This issue is also filled with staple summertime recipes, a few to cool you down and a couple to heat you up. There is also a more in-depth guide on where to hike in Eden Prairie and what to bring. As well as some tips on how to keep your plants healthy in the blazing summer heat.
