Give Thanks & Give Back
When we launched Conejo Valley Lifestyle in 2015 our editorial mission was to be different than the local magazine media that preceded us. Frankly there was no need for an additional focus on bling, glitz and materialism. It was being done well so there was no reason for Conejo Valley Lifestyle to do more of the same. We decided to share information that would benefit our Conejo Valley community and later our Malibu Coast community. These generous communities have an extremely robust and passionate group of nonprofits. Their missions vary from helping the young, the old, the arts and to fight many diseases. An ongoing focus on nonprofits and giving back was an easy choice for us, particularly since we felt that our support in communicating their work would benefit those in need of help and for the arts community which needs support so they can continue to enrich our culture.

In this issue we have featured several nonprofits. While we could not include everyone, those profiled are very representative of what is so good about the folks in the Conejo Valley and Malibu. Some who we were not able to profile but who are also very deserving of our readers’ support are For The Troops, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Pacific Festival Ballet. During the worst of the pandemic many nonprofits provided help that was indispens able. For example, The Boys & Girls Club provided a safe and productive environment for kids who were out of school while their parents were at work. Fundraising was not at normal levels. It was tough, but the nonprofits persevered and continued to work at their missions.
Thanksgiving is the time for us who are fortunate to give thanks for life’s bounty. A table filled with traditional Thanksgiving fare and décor is wonderful. Those of us who have it should give thanks on Thanksgiving and every day. In whatever way we can give back we should do so to help those less fortunate and to enrich our lives with culture and beauty.

If recent headlines about the housing market cooling and buyer demand moderating have you worried you’ve missed your chance to sell, here’s what you need to know. Buyer demand hasn’t disappeared, it’s just eased from the peak intensity we saw over the past two years.
During the pandemic, mortgage rates hit record lows, and that spurred a significant rise in buyer demand. This year, as rates increased due to factors like rising inflation, buyer demand pulled back or softened as a result.
While moderating compared to the frenzy in 2020 and 2021, showing activity is still beating pre-pandemic levels – and those pre-pandemic years were great years for the housing market. That goes to show there’s still demand if you sell your house today.

Experts’ Guide to Smart Financial Moves
With the end of the year looming, it’s a good idea to review your financial situation to prepare for tax filing, find out if you’re on track to meet your goals and dis cover if your investment portfolio still makes sense for your current lifestyle.
In order to lessen your tax liability, most financial experts will advise you to max out your retirement con tributions every year, or if that’s not possible, to try to contribute at least as much as your company matches. And, if your company does not offer a retirement plan, set one up on your own and contribute to it. This can be a great benefit when filing taxes and also provides financial security in your retirement years.
Another smart financial move to make by the end of the year is to donate to 501(c)(3) charitable organiza tions that support causes you believe in. This decision may not only help you during tax time, it will also make you feel good all year.
In addition to these common tax strategies, there are many other things you can do today and in the future to foster long-term financial health. Here, we consulted two financial experts at Montecito Bank & Trust to share their financial expertise on how to maximize funds.
“This year is an unusual year,” says Lisa Harwood, senior portfolio manager with Montecito Bank & Trust. “We've had many years of rising markets, but this year has been challenging. However, there's still going to be clients who have a lot of unrealized gains in their portfo lios, while others will have short-term unrealized losses that they've generated over the course of the year. They might want to consider the value of harvesting some of those losses for use against future capital gains.”
Figuring out the right financial moves can be compli cated, so it’s critical to have an expert to guide you on the right path.
“My advice is for people to set up a meeting with their financial professionals in the beginning of each
year so that they can review what happened in the prior year and review their goals and risk tolerances, and make sure either that things are the same, or if they've changed, how that might impact what we're doing in their portfolio.”
The most important reason for consulting a profes sional, says Albert Chu, also a senior portfolio manager at Montecito Bank & Trust, is to take the emotion out of decisions and have an objective person who can pro vide structure and discipline.
“Ultimately, it comes down to somebody reviewing your situation and letting you know that you're going to be okay. You need somebody to be on top of that because you have your own job, your own family and other responsibilities.”
Adds Lisa: “Markets have been a challenge, as I men tioned, and I've been telling my clients along the way that you're relying on me for discipline because when markets get choppy, we've seen people say, ‘Oh my God, I'm on the ledge and I'm ready to jump!’
“It's our job to talk them off the ledge, and to say, ‘We've created a great financial strategy for you and unless some thing fundamental in your life has changed, it doesn't make sense for us to jump. We need to stick to our plan.’”
Some of the benefits of working with a community bank like Montecito Bank & Trust is that the experts who are guiding you really know you, your goals, your investment personality and your lifestyle.
“At many larger banks, wealth management is kind of an afterthought, and that feeling gets passed down to clients, but at Montecito Bank & Trust, we are very com mitted to the wealth management business as a really vital part of the overall bank,” says Lisa. “That shows through to how we work with clients and the success that we want to foster with clients.”
Adds Albert. “It all comes down to people and rela tionships with a community bank. You're always dealing
Lisa Harwood, Senior Portfolio Manager

with an actual person with regular communications. You always have someone local you can go to, and you don't feel like you're being shifted off to a call center far away.”
Every client at Montecito Bank & Trust has a portfo lio manager, a trust officer and an investment analyst.
“Those are real people assigned to the client that the client can call and talk to, and each of those people knows the client’s situation,” says Lisa.
These experts can also personalize your investments to align with your values.
“That may be something like climate change or social justice,” says Albert. “So these are considerations that we can build into the portfolio.”
Explains Lisa, “At Montecito Bank & Trust, we very much tailor portfolios to clients’ needs and are thoughtful about what the client wants to do and how they want to do it. That's part of our initial conversation and ongoing conversations with clients.”
Being a local bank also means they welcome work ing with already established CPAs and attorneys of their clients.
“When a client comes to us with an established team, we work with them and make sure that we're all on the same page and they get the information they need from us,” says Lisa. “We have an open dialogue so that we can actually be helpful to the client in terms of communications.”
Adds Albert, “As a community bank, we're not in com petition with our clients’ teams of external financial professionals.” Also, if a client is in need of these pro fessionals, they are also able to make recommendations to others in the area.
These experts can oversee the big picture while also paying attention to the small details, and there are also some practical things you can do on your own.
“Take a look at your budget,” says Albert. “Revisit and review it to understand if it worked, or if it needs to be adjusted. Which ultimately means, ‘Will that impact my cash flow and do I need to adjust my finan cial plan going forward?’”
Budgeting can be as simple as writing everything down on paper, inputting it into an Excel spreadsheet, or using free software such as Mint.com.
“It’s an account aggregator and it pulls in everything from your bank accounts to your credit cards and mort gage statements, so you get a balance sheet,” he says. “What it also does is lets you see what you've spent on certain categories.” Once you have this information, you may need to make some changes to your budget.
It’s also critical to review beneficiary designations.
“These designations supersede anything that you put in your will, so you want to revisit your insurance plans, your pensions, and your 401ks and have a look at who you designated,” says Albert.
It’s also important to set up a trust, which is not just for the wealthy.
“You don't have to have millions of dollars to bene fit from having a trust,” says Lisa. “If you don’t have a trust and only have a will, your assets are subject to probate and probate is a very expensive public process that could be avoided by creating a revocable trust. It's worth the investment of creating a trust and making sure that your accounts and your real estate are titled in the name of that trust. We can help clients with that by referring them to a great estate planning attorney.”
While many couples find it hard to discuss finances, it’s a conversation that should take place on a regular basis. Albert recommends putting aside some time to speak with your partner to discuss this topic at least once a year.
“Do a personal review of what your goals and what your dreams might be so that you are aligned” he advises.
To avoid even more stress when it comes to tax time, stay organized throughout the year.
“It can be setting up envelopes where you keep your receipts or signing up for some type of software to track your receipts,” he says.
Since financial strategies and tax preparation can vary greatly depending on an individual’s income, tax bracket, assets and other factors, there’s no one solu tion that fits all. That’s why having your own financial expert can save money and avoid costly mistakes when it comes to drafting a smart financial plan now and in the future.
Developing a long-term personal relationship with an expert will also allow you to ensure that your plan is adjusted as major changes take place in your life. This way, you’ll always know that the plan you have in place is the right one at the right time.

For students and parents seeking more than academics when selecting a school, MUSE Global School offers personalized, private education within a community that welcomes and supports each child, as an individual, while preparing them for the demands and challenges of a dynamic and changing world.
“We have a small student/teacher ratio—no more than 16 per class— ensuring your child will receive a customized and unique learning plan giving them time and space to explore passions and interests alongside rigorous core academics,” McClure explains.
Additionally, “our campus is picturesque—located in the Santa Monica Mountains, offering endless adventure for outdoor learning, tranquility and fresh air.”
This inspiring outdoor location has been called “magical” for a reason: “It’s warm, inviting and is our primary classroom.”
“Our students thrive outdoors,” McClure says. “We have safe hiking trails in the Santa Monica Mountains that can be accessed from our campus. Students are so active throughout the day, there’s no need for Physical Education. MUSE’s outdoor educa tion classes and programs include hiking, swimming, team-build ing games and overnight experiences on and off campus. Our campus is designed for true exploration and adventure.”
In other unique factors, “we bring more to the classroom with weekly specialist courses ranging from seed to table, plant-based cooking, performing and visual arts, along with French and Spanish taught at all grade levels,” McClure says. “Our award-win ning chef and her team prepare homemade, plant-based meals for students daily—it’s delicious and directly connected to their learning in the garden. It’s unlike anything you have seen in a school setting.”
Students and parents rave about passion-based learning.
“Students across all grade levels work with their teachers and explore their passions, interests and curiosities. They select a topic of their choice and develop a research project examin ing core academics and wrapping in elements of all of the Five Pillars,” McClure explains.
For example, if a student is interested in Legos, they explore the history, science, math and social studies, all the while doc umenting their process and research, becoming mini experts in their chosen topic. Students are engaging through Lego building, the history of Legos and writing about Legos.
“All subjects can be connected and explored through their passions,” McClure says. “Each semester, students present their unique passion project to the entire MUSE community, includ ing administration, teachers, staff, peers and parents. This gives everyone the opportunity to learn about all of our students’ pas sions and celebrate each and every student.”
Additionally, upper school students are given the opportunity to take part in two service learning trips per year through our Human Rights program.
“We believe these trips give students a new perspective on life and create lasting memories that significantly impact their life,” McClure says. “The most recent trip was an adventure to Guatemala with Mending Kids. Their work included transporting surgical supplies, supporting doctors with intake evaluations, patient prep for surgery, and observing 40-plus ENT procedures.”
MUSE launched in 2006 and has since developed to serve children age 2 through 18. It has grown to be a comprehensive revisualization of how an education system can function to inspire parents and chil dren alike to lead happier, healthier and more successful lives—while also having a positive impact on the sustainability of our planet.
“When Suzy Amis Cameron and James Cameron were inspired to create MUSE, Suzy teamed up with her sister, Rebecca Amis, a past collaborator in child-centered schools, to build a program that was alive and engaging, getting students up on their feet. There was a deep knowing that children are born with a spark and light, curious to learn the wonders of the world. They wanted MUSE to be a school that incorporated a holistic approach to education, an ever-evolv ing process to explore and innovate, engaging with new research of how children learn—a school that would not be bogged down by the received dogma of traditional models,” McClure explains.
Above all, MUSE Global School’s mission is to equip young peo ple with the tools needed for a lifetime of curiosity.
“With innovative academics, passion-based learning and an emphasis on sustainability, students learn to live consciously with themselves, one another and the planet, all in a dynamic and beautiful learning environment,” McClure says.
If in-person school is not a fit for your family right now, “we offer an amazing distance learning program,” she adds. “Students can enjoy the uniqueness of a MUSE education from their com puter. Teachers and peers engage in live instruction daily, go on virtual field trips and interact with students across the globe.”
MUSE Global School also offers rolling admissions. “If your stu dent is looking for a school where they are celebrated as well as a rich and vibrant learning environment, we want to hear from you.”

The best businesses tend to be born out of passion, and STS Kraftworks is the perfect example. Founded by craftsman Skipper T. Smith, who combined his decades of experience in the culinary and woodworking fields to fashion the perfect cutting board, STS Kraftworks is a family business that takes pride in producing beautifully designed cutting boards of the highest quality.
“With a love of food almost equal to his love of working with wood and fueled by not finding a board out there that satisfied his needs, Skipper became particularly determined to optimize his cutting boards for stand-out quality, purposeful functionality and distinctive visual appeal,” explains Kristine Smith, Skipper’s life and business partner.
“After years of honing his designs, a lot of valuable feedback along the way and so many folks asking us where they can buy the boards, we decided to commit to a family business and go all in!”
We asked Skipper and the STS Kraftworks family to share about what makes their cutting boards unique and special.
Q. HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN THE BUSINESS?
A. Growing up, someone was always throwing a party or hosting a gathering and food was always front and center. In addition to cele brations with family and friends, Skipper’s parents regularly catered events, often centered around a big Santa Maria–style BBQ pit. Over the years, Skipper entertained the idea of a BBQ restaurant, loving the idea of bringing community together around his favorite foods, but that business is incredibly difficult. Combining his passion for wood design with his drive to build a cutting board that would add value and enjoyment in the kitchen was a unique way he could bring joy to those who love cooking, eating and entertaining as much as he does. So, after spending decades making cutting board gifts and commissions for family and friends, we started our family-owned woodworks company.
Q. WHAT MAKES STS KRAFTWORKS’ CUTTING BOARDS UNIQUE?
A. There are a lot of cutting boards out there, but we couldn’t find any that combine all of the features we were looking for. We set out to create boards with purposeful details that also look unique and different. From a practical standpoint, our boards maximize your working surface, direct and collect jus and fluids to be used or dis carded, and stay put when you are using them. With the smooth front transfer edge on our hybrid design, you are also able to easily and efficiently scoop food into other cooking, serving or storage con tainers. Many households purchase more than one cutting board for different uses. With our hybrid boards, you have all you need in one chopping and cutting board. And why shouldn’t your cutting board be as beautiful as it is functional?
Q. CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT THE DESIGN DETAILS?
A. The boards you see today are the result of years of trial and error. We mentioned the benefits of the hybrid design being an all-in-one chopping and cutting board. The curved rectangle shape of our boards enable users to grab and handle the boards more easily. Our most complex boards with curves design incorporate bent wood laminations into the full thickness of those boards. Using the board should be a full sensory experience, from how it looks to how it feels. We optimize board construction and surfacing to the highest of stan dards, maintaining crisp line and edge details in the finishing process.
Q. HOW DOES THE DESIGN OF THE CUTTING BOARDS IMPROVE FUNCTION?

A. Our proprietary non-marking, non-slip silicone feet keep the board in place, even when countertops are wet. The juice groove design includes an enlarged corner reservoir to collect coveted juice and pre vent overflows. Our hybrid design boards maximize functionality for chopping and cutting, enabling easier juice and food transfer. Feet are discreetly inset, allowing the board belly to hang over your countertop edge for smooth transition of food into a pan, bowl or plate. We wanted to avoid attaching handles or carving hand grooves into the sides of the boards which could compromise board strength and longevity.
Q. WHAT CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT THE WOOD AND MATERIALS USED?
A. In addition to using common cutting board hardwoods, such as maple and black walnut, we also use exotic hardwoods, such as padauk, purple heart and wenge in our designs. The woods we use are all hearty species known for their grain stability and striking natural beauty. As part of our efforts to support and promote responsible global forestry practices, our wood is sourced from suppliers certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). We use food-grade materials in the con struction of our boards, including FDA-certified food-safe mineral oil to seal the boards as well as FDA-certified waterproof food-safe glue.
Q. WHERE CAN CONSUMERS FIND YOUR CUTTING BOARDS?
A. We are primarily an ecommerce business based out of Newbury Park. We do not have any brick-and-mortar locations at this time, but we may participate in regional craft and food events throughout the year. As we grow, we look forward to build ing partnerships with those in our community who love cooking, eating and entertaining as much as we do.

Get Comfortable in Your Own Skin at Aesthetically Yours
At Aesthetically Yours, Dr. M. Asif Taqi and his team of experts offer nonsurgical services to the residents of Thousand Oaks, Westlake, Woodland Hills, Ventura and surrounding Los Angeles areas.

“Our ultimate goal is not to change our clients, but instead enhance their true beauty and make them feel comfortable in their own skin,” says Dr. Taqi, a practicing physician for 15 years with many years of experience in injecting neurotoxins and performing minimally invasive procedures.
“We strive to make our patients feel heard about what their skin concerns/ insecurities are rather than being sold a product,” Dr. Taqi emphasizes. “We are passionate about this field and stand by the products and services that we offer.”
These services include injectable neuromodulators to help with wrinkles and fine lines, dermal fillers to enhance contour or add volume and Kybella to reduce unwanted fat. Additional offerings include Intense Pulse Light to help with sunspots, age spots, uneven skin tone, enlarged pores, rosacea and broken capillaries, as well as acne laser resurfacing to help with texture, acne scaring, fine lines and crepey skin.
There’s also Yag laser for vascular lesions and skin brightening; Radio Frequency Microneedling to help wrinkles, loose or crepy skin; and scar revision including C-section and stretch marks. Aesthetically Yours also provides laser hair removal that is suitable for even darker skin tones, and vitamin infusions that can boost memory, energy, skin health, immune system and recovery process.
“We can also create a customized infusion tailored to our patient’s specific needs and goals,” Dr. Taqi says.

What does Aesthetically Yours offer that cannot be found elsewhere?
“A deep desire and dedication to connect with each and every one of our patients and learn their individual needs,” says Angelika Desimone, nurse practitioner, adding that all their laser and devices are brand new, offering patients the state-of-the-art and latest technology.
“All our treatments are focused on minimal downtime while providing lasting results,” emphasizes Desimone, a certified injec tor and laser specialist. “Our injectors are experienced and offer a
wide variety of treatments including correction and dissolving previously misplaced or over-injected dermal fillers.”
All treatments are complimentary to each other, Desimone notes.
“For example, a patient may benefit from Botox and filler combination after laser resurfacing to get rid of deep wrinkles followed by an infusion of our beauty boost.”
Aesthetically Yours, as the name suggests, is about “YOU,” emphasizes Katherine Campbell, co-owner and chief operating officer.
“Our team distinguishes in enhancing your own beauty rather than changing it,” Campbell says. “We believe everyone is gifted with their own unique fea tures and our goal is to preserve those features. We help our patients in determining their goals and make sure they are safely achieved. We spend time to con nect with our patients and make sure they feel com fortable with their individualized treatment plan.”
Aesthetically Yours came about from Campbell’s personal passion for skin care and aesthetics.
“I wanted to create a space where patients felt they were listened to and felt hopeful in finding treatment that would make them feel like themselves again,” explains Campbell, noting that she has personally struggled with skin conditions for years, and knows firsthand how it can impact self-confidence and over all self-esteem.
“In the past I had been to med spas where I felt intimidated by the overall experience,” Campbell recalls. “At times I felt rushed and at others I felt I was just told what do rather than being a part of the treatment plan.”
Campbell wanted to create a place where patients were comfortable sharing their insecurities without judgment and felt they had gained some power back.
“Our goal at Aesthetically Yours is not to tell the patients what they need, but instead involve them in creating a treatment plan to ensure that their concerns are addressed and treated appropriately,” Campbell says. “With that mindset, we give the patients the opportunity to feel not only involved— but most importantly to feel heard—which ultimately will give them the results they are hoping to achieve.”
Campbell added that her goal for the company is not to change a patient’s appearance, “but instead enhance their natural looks—making them feel more beautiful in their skin.”
In the month of November, Aesthetically Yours will be offering Xeomin for $2 off per unit, and 20% off all laser skin packages. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday by appointment. For more information, visit https://aesyours.com/, or call 818.964.0921.

Your Autumn Dinner PartyIs Served
Catering experts Chef Kyle and Hannah Williams, owners of Savor & Swirl culinary company, create an outdoor dinner party with chef-driven perennial dishes served in beautiful seasonal settings.

For this alfresco Autumn Dinner Party, Chef Kyle draws on favorite fall recipes updated for a modern palate and paired with wine selections to complement the boun tiful feast. Hannah creates an iconic autumn ambiance using artisanal table settings and mixed flannels for each guest to blanket any chill on a brisk evening. Whether for Friendsgiving, Thanksgiving or a new November tradi tion, it’s time to get outdoors again surrounded in sweat er-weather coziness while sharing bites and clinks with family and friends.

“Think flannel blankets, wooden tables, fire pits, open grills, string lights and candles to create a really cool environment you haven’t been able to do all summer.”
Insider Tips for Hosting:
• Build a menu around the season. “In November, people crave turkey, sage stuffing and cran berry sauce,” Chef Kyle says. “Autumn dinners mean bigger-course meals with varied proteins, like turkey, duck and sirloin, hearty starches, and good fall produce, especially root vegeta bles such as butternut squash and pumpkin.”
• Always greet guests with a beverage and appetizers. “Offer champagne for wine-lov ers or a sparkling drink or signature cocktail. It’s all about serving guests to the highest caliber,” Kyle says.

• Draw inspiration from the season’s changing colors, cooler temps and lower humidity to move back outdoors. “Think flannel blankets, wooden tables, fire pits, open grills, string lights and candles to create a really cool environment you haven’t been able to do all summer.”
• “You can’t go wrong with fresh flowers,” Hannah says, “but keep bouquets low to not interfere with conversation flowing. For fall, I like richer, jewel-toned florals to mix and match and keep whimsical. I vary glass vases with bur nished brass for warm fall vibes.”
• An easy but thoughtful detail is to put a simple menu at each place setting, so guests know what to expect. “Add a pen, so guests can jot tasting notes, especially for wine pairings or multiple courses,” Hannah says. “Guests can share comments, then take the menu home as a sweet reminder of the event.”
• Follow the French principle of mise en place or everything in place before your event. “This is actually our company’s name,” Kyle says. “It’s that important to us. Make sure the wines are all open, cocktails are pre-made, place settings are out, candles are lit and music is playing. When guests arrive, it gives that wow-factor and shows you intentionally made them feel special.”
• To build confidence as a host, start small and practice. “Keep the menu and guest list small,” Kyle says. “Choose recipes you already have con fidence in. If you make a great Beef Stroganoff, then go with that. People will love it!”
• As fun as it is to dine outside, always have an indoors back-up plan. “We’ve had to bring it indoors before,” Hannah says. “It’s still fun.”
For this fall dinner party, Chef Kyle created the perfect din ner menu to tantalize guests' taste buds. For a complete list of recipes, scan the QR code below.

FRESH ROASTED BRUSSELS SPROUTS & HARDWOOD SMOKED BACON
Yield: 6 servings
• 4 cups Brussels sprouts, raw, halved
• 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
• ¼ cup yellow onion, sliced
• 1 tablespoon garlic, sliced thin
• 1-2 cups bacon, smoked, thick cut, large dice
• Salt, pepper to taste
• 2 tablespoons real butter, unsalted
• Optional garnish: 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
METHOD OF PREPARATION:
1. Preheat oven to 400 °F for convec tion setting, (425 °F conventional).
2. In mixing bowl, add oil and cut raw Brussels sprouts. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Place seasoned sprouts on bak ing sheet and bake in oven until done, about 20-40 minutes (soft yet still with good texture and crispy edges with some dark brown color). Remove from oven.
4. Place large sauté pan on medium heat and render bacon. Add a splash of olive oil to get it going, if needed. Cook until bacon is crispy and golden brown, 5-10 minutes.
5. Add onions to pan and cook until soft, 5-8 minutes.
6. Turn heat to high and add garlic and butter and cook for 1 minute.
7. Add roasted Brussels sprouts to pan and toss all together. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
8. For optional garnishes, add fresh chopped parsley.
9. Serve and enjoy!
CHEF NOTES:
• If Brussels sprouts are large, cut in quarters.
• Rendering bacon means extracting the bacon fat which adds a lot of flavor to the dish.
Wine Pairing
According to Savor & Swirl, wine pairing doesn’t need to be overly complicated for a casual outdoor dinner party. Have a lighter and fuller body style of white and red avail able with some sparkling thrown in.

“Lighter to medium-bodied wines from Rhône Valley, Italy or California would be a good place to start,” they state. “Viognier is one of our favorite wines that goes great with fall-inspired cuisines. Pinot Noir wine goes great with just about any food. Lean towards California or Willamette Valley for a new-world style and go with France for a more earthy, old-world style. A big bold Napa Cab would fall in perfectly for the grilled ribeye steak! Cheers!”

Giving Thanks
ARTICLE BY KIM PAGANOEvery day that we wake up or close our eyes is another opportunity to give thanks for another blessed day. Now let’s look at what filled our day— all of the blessings and gifts that were poured into our day to make it ours. If you’re following me, and you think it’s starting to sound like a for mula or a recipe, it is. It’s actually a way of living.
Are you counting each and every blessing that falls into your lap or doorstep? It’s not by coin cidence; those are G_D incidences and they are only intended for YOU. If you miss them or are not recognizing each golden nugget and hon oring them for you, they will be lost. We all have superpowers! If you don’t use them, you lose them. Look around and recognize that life is hap pening, and it's not the same for everyone; this is happening to you, and these are your blessings.
Every day is another miracle and the miracle of life can be yours. Giving thanks and appreciation makes your miracles continue to appreciate for not only you but for the universe. Once you rec ognize your powers and can actually visualize, you can manifest your dreams into reality.
