The Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 and 450 are standout luxury SUVs in their class. Advanced technology, safety, and performance features create a seamless blend of convenience, comfort, and security for drivers and passengers alike. Mercedes-Benz of Buffalo is a hub for 4MATIC® vehicles like these, and both are available now.
One of their key highlights is the state-of-the-art MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system. This intuitive system integrates voice control, touchscreen displays, and touchpad controls to provide a user-friendly interface for accessing navigation, entertainment, and vehicle settings. With features like augmented reality navigation, natural language processing, and smartphone integration, the MBUX system ensures a connected and personalized driving experience.
In terms of safety, both Mercedes-Benz GLE trims are equipped with a range of advanced
driver assistance systems designed to enhance driver awareness and mitigate potential risks on the road. Features such as Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist, and Lane Keeping Assist work together to help prevent collisions and provide peace of mind for drivers in various driving conditions. These vehicles offer optional safety upgrades like the Driver Assistance Package Plus, which includes features such as Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC® , Active Steering Assist, and Evasive Steering Assist for enhanced safety and convenience on the road. Most importantly, both are 4MATIC® vehicles which is incredibly important when navigating spontaneous and intense Buffalo weather.
When it comes to performance, there’s a range of engine options. The Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 typically comes equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine that produces around 255 horsepower and
273 lb-ft of torque. On the other hand, the GLE 450 usually features a more powerful 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 engine with EQ Boost technology, delivering approximately 362 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. Their responsive handling and adaptive air suspension system ensures a comfortable ride quality, whether you’re cruising through the 716 or navigating challenging terrain.
Ultimately, the choice between the GLE 350 and GLE 450 would depend on your preferences for performance, features, and overall driving experience. Visit Mercedes-Benz of Buffalo to review detailed specifications and take a test drive at 8185 Main Street in Williamsville or search for available GLE SUVs at www.mercedesbenzbuffalo.com.

I love family-style meals such as a crab boil this time of year. The food is the star of the show and a vital part of the tablescape – decor optional! Additional elements included here are a large paper-sail, light blue taper candles, a few large flowers, and heavy white rope as nautical accents. You can also use other elements such as large seashells, coral or seaglass. Use whatever you have on hand that nods to the sea.
White Pasta Bowls
Individual Ceramic Butter Warmers
Linen Napkins
Woven Placemats
Galvanized Tavern Mugs
Crab Napkin Rings
Crab Salt & Pepper
Crab Bottle Opener
Parchment Paper
Paper-Sail Centerpiece (instructions found in Martha Stewart’s book “Handmade Holiday Crafts” page 248) set in a galvanized bucket filled with white sand.
Blue Taper Candles placed in 8oz jelly jars filled with white sand.
Glass Bottles labeled “Let’s Sail Away.” Inside, roll up a handwritten note, joke or riddle for guests to enjoy a chuckle or conversation starter.
Large Galvanized Tray overlaid with parchment paper to hold the crab boil feast.
Fill a large stock pot halfway with cold water. Season with lemon peels, bay leaves, black pepper, red pepper flakes, Old Bay Seasoning, and garlic powder. Bring to a boil and add crab legs, sausage, potatoes, and corn until cooked. Strain water and serve on a large galvanized tray, newspaper or parchment paper – enjoy your meal with guests, family style!
Give each guest a bowl of garlic butter for dipping as well as lemons for squeezing (wrapped in cheesecloth and tied with twine to avoid seeds).
Include special beverages and desserts such as a tiered lemon cake or frozen treat to beat the heat.

CAROLINE RAIMY'S INFLUENCE ON MODERN REAL ESTATE
ARTICLE BY BROOKE OSTRYE
First impressions are paramount, and in real estate, they are often dictated by style.
In the world of real estate, where numbers often speak louder than words, there exists a more nuanced and equally compelling narrative: style. For Caroline Raimy at Hunt Real Estate, style isn't just about aesthetics; it is an amalgamation of presentation, personal branding, and the intricate dance of understanding client needs. Style, in real estate, is the silent salesperson that sets the stage for a successful transaction.
First impressions are paramount, and in real estate, they are often dictated by style. Caroline Raimy's style can transform a property tour into an unforgettable experience. Imagine stepping into a well-staged home where every element, from the color palette to the choice of furniture, exudes a sense of welcome and possibility. This is where Caroline’s style shines— through her ability to curate an environment that resonates with potential buyers.
A realtor with an eye for style knows that the smallest details can make the biggest difference. It's not just about showcasing a property; it's about creating a story that buyers can envision themselves living in. The scent of fresh flowers, the soft hum of ambient music, and the strategic placement of tasteful decor can turn a house into a home in the minds of prospective buyers.
Style in real estate is not a one-size-fits-all approach. With Caroline Raimy, understanding the unique tastes and preferences of her clients is crucial. This involves more than just a checklist of requirements; it requires an intuitive grasp of what will make a property feel like home to each individual buyer.
For instance, a young couple looking for their first home may prioritize modern, minimalist design, while a family with children might lean towards a home with warm, inviting spaces. Caroline’s ability to adapt her style to meet these diverse needs can make or break a deal. It’s about reading between the lines, listening actively, and presenting properties in a way that aligns with the client's vision.
To enhance the appeal of a property and ensure it stands out, Caroline Raimy shares her expert tips for staging a house:
• Declutter and Depersonalize: Remove personal items and excess clutter to create a clean, inviting space that allows buyers to envision their own belongings.
• Create a Pet-Free Environment : Ensure no evidence of pets is visible during showings to appeal to a broader audience.
• Highlight Key Features : Use furniture and decor to draw attention to the property’s best features, such as large windows, fireplaces, or architectural details.
• Use Neutral Colors: Opt for a neutral color palette to create a versatile backdrop that appeals to a wide range of tastes.
• Enhance Lighting : Ensure each room is well-lit by using a mix of natural and artificial light. Clean windows and replace any dim or burnt-out bulbs.
• Add Fresh Elements: Incorporate fresh flowers, plants, and a pleasant scent to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Focus on Curb Appeal: Make a strong first impression by maintaining the exterior, including the lawn, garden, and entryway.
It’s about reading between the lines, listening actively, and presenting properties in a way that aligns with the client’s vision. “ ”
• Stage Each Room : Clearly define the purpose of each room to help buyers understand how to use the space effectively.
• Keep it Clean: Maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the property, especially during showings.
Caroline Raimy's commitment to her clients extends beyond traditional staging. She often provides personalized consultation sessions where she advises on minor renovations and upgrades that can significantly boost a property’s market value. Whether it's suggesting a fresh coat of paint, recommending energy-efficient appliances, or highlighting potential home improvements, Caroline ensures every detail contributes to a seamless and appealing presentation.
In the competitive world of real estate, style is the subtle yet powerful force that distinguishes exceptional realtors from the rest. With Caroline Raimy at Hunt Real Estate, it is an art form that combines aesthetics, personal branding, and a deep understanding of client needs. Caroline’s approach is not only about selling houses but about creating homes that buyers can envision as their own.
As the industry continues to evolve, those who master the art of style will not only thrive but redefine what it means to be a modern realtor. In essence, style is not just an accessory to success in real estate; it is the very fabric of it. With Caroline Raimy's dedication to style and her clients' unique needs, she is setting new standards and paving the way for a more personalized and visually appealing real estate market.
INGREDIENTS
• 1 1/2 oz- Cucumber & dragon fruit gin
• 3/4oz- Toasted black sesame Velvet Falernum
• 1/2oz- Lime juice
• Topped with ginger beer
• Hawaiian black lava salt & black sesame
GARNISH
• Small paint brush
• Simple syrup
• Hawaiian black lava salt mixed with a pinch of black sesame
INSTRUCTIONS
Infused Gin: Infuse 1 whole peeled and cut cucumber in gin for a week. Strain the cucumbers out. Add 1 tablespoon of organic dragonfruit powder and mix very well with a whisk. To make the syrup, toast 1/2 cup of black sesame at 350 for 10 minutes. Take it out and let it cool. In a mortar and pestle, grind the toasted black sesame, but not too fine. Add the sesame into one bottle of John D. Taylor’s Velvet Falernum. Let that set for about 2 to 3 days and use cheese cloth to strain out the fine bits of sesame. Juice one fresh lime and strain to remove the pulp.
Cocktail: Paint a strip of simple syrup down a Collins glass. Take a spoon full of Hawaiian black lava salt mixed with black sesame and layer that down where the painted simple syrup was placed. In a shaker tin combine: 1 1/2oz cucumber dragon fruit gin, 3/4oz toasted black sesame Velvet Falernum, and 1/2oz lime juice and shake that up! Fill the painted glass with ice (I use crushed ice) and strain over the ice. Top with your favorite ginger beer (my choice is fever tree ginger beer).

Great clothing embodies three virtues: it serves a purpose, fits elegantly, and is made of high-quality materials. At Napoli’s, we deliver on all three virtues with every item in our shop, including complimentary hand-tailoring to ensure a perfect fit. Each season offers an opportunity to express a new sense of style while meeting the challenges of the weather. We would be delighted to curate outfits for any occasion, whether it’s a family outing for lunch and a trip to the corn maze, a cozy ensemble for an evening walk through the falling leaves, or an elegant look for a nighttime charity gala.
Autumn provides an excellent opportunity to experiment with layering, one of the most exciting ways to build an outfit. At Napoli’s, we recommend starting with a base layer: choose your favorite shirt, denim, or trousers. The color and texture of this item will lay the foundation for the rest of your ensemble. For instance, consider an Eton blue basic shirt, one of the most versatile pieces available. Wear it under a thin wool blend zip-up from Gran Sasso. The sweater’s mock-neck emphasizes the shirt’s collar and creates a comfortable and flattering frame for the face. Complete the look with a stylish patterned scarf or a windbreaker on cooler nights.
Heavier fabrics are optimal for pants in the fall. Beyond denim, which is always a solid choice, consider
traditional wool pants, cashmere, flannel, or heavy cotton chinos. When walking down woodland trails to enjoy the changing leaves, pull on a pair of leather lace-up boots or chukkas. If you’re sticking to the city, try a pair of suede ankle boots or leather sneakers.
Does it sound a bit complicated? That’s the beauty of service from a professional clothier, a title our team at Napoli’s wears proudly. We eagerly anticipate the new dressing opportunities each season provides and strive to pass this knowledge along to our clients through personalized recommendations and outfit construction, complete with reference photos. Our combined expertise allows us to adapt to every situation, including last-minute emergencies. We are always happy to expedite services at no cost to you.
Our Made-to-Measure program also evolves with the season. Autumn marks the arrival of a new wave of fabrics. In addition to classic flannels and heavy wools, we offer colorful tweeds, cashmeres, and jersey stretch materials. The jersey is especially perfect for fall; its extra weight keeps you comfortable in the cold, and its stretch properties are ideal for unrestricted movement, perfect for various activities. The colorful nature of the autumn season lends itself well to wearing hues that coordinate with the outdoors, such as rich burnt oranges, burgundy reds, and deep blues.
Discover the perfect blend of style and comfort this autumn at Napoli’s Clothing & Shoes, where every piece is crafted to elevate your wardrobe and suit your lifestyle seamlessly.
