WHAT WAS YOUR INSPIRATION BEHIND THE STYLING FOR THIS PARTY SHOOT? I was inspired by a beautiful soft pastel colour pallet as well as gorgeous spring florals in soft tones. Easter is one of my favorite times of year and is always a beautiful opportunity to get together with the family, share in some easter treats and have a visit from the Easter Bunny!

WHAT WERE SOME OF THE UNIQUE FEATURES OF THIS SETUP? This was an indoor party held in an apartment!

Selecting pieces of good quality helped make an impact in a smaller home space. We styled our kids table using the latest current Easter tablewear range along with bespoke custom designed paperie and floral arrangements to match. The sweets display on the candy cart was a big hit and featured flavors such as rose and coconut, as well as the fabulous Easter bunny handing out Easter themed gift bags for the kids entertainment!

SHARE YOUR TOP TIPS FOR THOSE PLANNING CHILDREN’S PARTIES AND CELEBRATIONS Planning an indoor party at your home can seem daunting at first, especially if you don’t have much space. However, choose a few key feature pieces such as a colourful balloon garland, bunting and a candy cart with signage to help make your party pop!

It’s important to also continue the party experience for the children by investing in some kids entertainment.

To remain on theme we picked the Easter bunny with games. The take home party bags featured some custom easter cookies.

WHAT WAS YOUR INSPIRATION BEHIND THE STYLING FOR THIS PARTY SHOOT? The movie Encanto brought a lot of joy to lots of kids 2022 summer with its music, colour and fun, happy vibe – just what we needed after the last 2 years ! Tanya of Life’s Little Celebrations daughter Leah loves this movie and the songs, and just like in Encanto their family includes 3 girls! So for her 5th birthday we sought to bring the movie scene to life with the Madrigal house inspired backdrop, the plants and florals and animals.

We were also inspired by the butterfly touches, the magic door and the candle from the movie which all was brought through in the setup.

WHAT WERE SOME OF THE UNIQUE FEATURES OF THIS SETUP? The light up magic door cake was a true highlight along with the amazing backdrop and illustrations which really set the whole scene! The detailed favour box with the Madrigal house and personal illustration of Leah was another amazing feature. All the balloons, florals, partyware and desserts worked together to really bring the theme alive!

If based around a favourite show/movie/book, aim to pick a few key aspects to focus on when coming up with the decorations/tableware Entertainment is a must! We loved having “Isabela” come and entertain the kids and it made the party so fun and memorable for Leah Choose quality vendors you can trust!

WHAT WAS YOUR INSPIRATION BEHIND THE STYLING FOR THIS PARTY SHOOT? MEK Luxury Event Co. relocated to a new premises In celebration of our upcoming 2 Year business anniversary as well as our recent premises move, we decided to collaborate with likeminded talented Perth Vendors to create an amazing Mermaid vibe styled shoot. Inspiration was driven by our awesome street name and the reminder to reconnect with our why, behind what we do.

Why Mermaids, why not? Mermaids are every little girl’s dream, they are beautiful, graceful sea princesses who can manifest absolutely anything by daydreaming.

We love reminding our clients of their style, vision and what makes their event unique and most of all memorable “You got your own style, now let it shine through and remember no matter what, you’ve got to be you.” – Sebastian, Little Mermaid.

WHAT WERE SOME OF THE UNIQUE FEATURES OF THIS SETUP? The aim was to keep it stylish and simple with a WOW factor, that’s what we do!

Having the epic waterfront view to work with gave us the opportunity to bring in a real Mermaid Princess and a stunning extremely lifelike swimming Mermaid, they were both truly magical the kids were absolutely in awe of their beauty.

We created a unique backyard picnic to remind people of how they can transform a space.

Our very talented balloon stylist cascaded the balloon garland from the second level down to create a focal point around Mermaid’s shell seating area. Allowing enough room for our talented entertainers to bring in their magical bag of goodies; Glitter bar, Hair braiding and BUBBLES! The set-up wasn’t complete without a Mermaid drink station and an assortment of truly amazing vibrant deserts.

WHAT WAS YOUR INSPIRATION BEHIND THE STYLING FOR THIS PARTY SHOOT? My inspiration was Richelle’s Baptismal Gown as it is a family heirloom which has been around for over 40 years and that has been passed on to all the children in the family and I wanted to add that as part of the setup with a custom illustration .

WHAT WERE SOME OF THE UNIQUE FEATURES OF THIS SETUP? Many pieces worked together in this setup and had a special meaning. The custom illustration , the unique bonbonniere , the cake with the cloth which resembles the baptismal towel , the table cloth in lace denotes the baptismal gown and the roman ripple plinth which carried through the styling of the glassware and the candles

WHAT WAS YOUR INSPIRATION BEHIND THE STYLING FOR THIS PARTY SHOOT? My daughter, Gabrielle, is a big fan of Roblox (an online gaming environment and game creation system) but is also a typical girl who loves to dress up in tutu’s and be pampered. She wanted to celebrate her 6th birthday with her friends and couldn’t decide between a Roblox or a Pamper party, so we combined them both! And why not!? Gabrielle was able to dress up in our @wishfulplayground dress and headband which complimented the Roblox theme and the venue @lepetitekidsteaandspa.

WHAT WERE SOME OF THE UNIQUE FEATURES OF THIS SETUP? The challenge was keeping with both themes without them clashing with one another.

We initially designed the favour boxes and continued the theme across the rest of the items. The unique feature of the balloons by Belle Events floating over the cake setup table with pops of pinks and stars were to keep with the Roblox feel. The cake by Dulce Trio was the star of the show as she sought to blend both themes with the colours of the favour box and still have the Roblox inspired characters pop out on the cake A birthday isn’t complete without chocolate wrappers and cupcakes matching the theme. If you look closer to the R on the acrylic signs, you will notice the R is the similar font as the R in Roblox which worked well with Gabrielle’s name. The venue Le Petite were able to bring all the magic alive and really accommodated the theme.

SHARE YOUR TOP TIPS FOR THOSE PLANNING CHILDREN’S PARTIES AND CELEBRATIONS My top tip is to be inclusive, whilst this was a girls 6th birthday party, we were still able to accommodate for the boys and my niece, Analise, who has special needs. The girls at @lepeiteteaanddayspa, were great in ensuring the boys were not left out and Analise was able to participate in all the pampering and celebrations.

Dress for the occasion – It would be a shame to go all out with an event and not be able to dress for it. @wishfulplayground offers a great range of designer children’s wear to complete the look.

WHAT WAS YOUR INSPIRATION BEHIND THE STYLING FOR THIS PARTY SHOOT? The world has been crazy in the last couple of years.

Sometimes the world seems like a wonderland but dig deeper and you see it’s like a Mad Hatters Tea Party. As parents, we want to protect our children from this, but we can make sure they have opportunities to escape down the rabbit hole, into a Wonderland of possibilities.

I felt this Unbirthday party was a perfect way to combine the Wonderland that I want my kids to experience with touches of the chaos of reality, by embedding the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party inside the atmosphere of Wonderland.

WHAT WERE SOME OF THE UNIQUE FEATURES OF THIS SETUP? I was looking to create something unique and FUN. The venues greenery provided a perfect setting for this Unbirthday party.

The life size Alice and White Rabbit next to the extralarge foam flowers gave the illusion of being in the movie Alice in Wonderland.

The detailed 3 tiered cake and the movie inspired cookies brought the theme to life Custom bubblewands designed to look like the blue caterpillar on a mushroom and party favor boxes decorated to look like Alice’s dress were a big hit with the kids.

The most exciting and craziest part was getting a bunch of babies to join in at a crazy tea party, in exquisite costumes with amazingly detailed face painting, particularly on the Cheshire Cat and March Hare.

SHARE YOUR TOP TIPS FOR THOSE PLANNING CHILDREN’S PARTIES AND CELEBRATIONS Kid’s party planning should probably be considered an art! Key points to consider include: • Location, Location, Location. Think outside of the box.

•G o Big or go home doesn’t always apply to activities.

Don’t try to cram too many things into a two-hour party.

• P lan with the Birthday Child. The key ingredient is to have the kids in mind when planning. Kids like to have a good time and get excited for parties.

• Picking a theme. Having a party theme helps you tailor and personalize everything.

• I t’s a numbers game. Keep the birthday child in mind when inviting guests – some thrive with lots of guests and some really shine when it’s just a few closer friends.
